  1. Color out of Space (2019) was fine. Not bad, not very remarkable.
  2. Adding "In a Violent Nature" to the watchlist
  3. Imo, Slowik's play-calling is a red herring. The issue is the OL. He has to call run plays more often than football twitter wants because the OL can't pass block, and he needs to set up play-action for the passing game to have a chance. It's back to where we were last year when the OL was torn to shreds via injury. I will say that the defense stepping up like that was extremely promising for what we should see going forward
  4. Considering how many players were out, it's surprising the defense played that well
  5. A big play was Stingley giving up the first down pass on that last drive. Romo said he slipped. Nate Tice talked about Green Bay having a tricky turf, and the importance of getting players to wear the right cleats; he says some players don't like to wear the proper cleats there because they don't look as cool
  6. I hate giving the kicker a practice kick
  7. Not a good season for him. It seems the shooting set him back
  8. They're all over everything we're doing, which means Slowik is too predictable. Of course, the OL is terrible on top of that
  9. Might as well run on every play. We can't pass block
  10. Need to score here what the fuck was that
  11. This OL makes everything more difficult
  12. Joe Mixon is really good
  13. How many drives have ended this year with a pressure given up by a TE? I can think of about five off the top of my head
  14. He just got a massive extension after turning Bama down (or at least FSU thought he turned Bama down)
  15. He’s the one who’s best able to play with other stars
  16. Potential rockets second unit (assuming no staggering) PG- Reed Sheppard SH- Cam Whitmore SF- Amen Thompson PF- Tari Eason C- Steven Adams That’s a fun team to watch
  17. A couple of notes from Tice's podcast.. The Houston offense is: 25th in success rate 17th in EPA per play 26th in EPA/rush on 1st and 2nd down 30th in success rate on 1st and 2nd down Going into the NE game, they had a bottom five run game success rate since 2012 (presumably the NE game was a bit better) 43% success rate on 3rd and 4th down (that's really good) because Stroud is doing yeoman's work dragging this offense forward, and right now should be MVP. Pressure rate is top half of the league because Stroud is good at getting the ball out early before pressure gets there

    2025 NFL Draft

I understand all of this, and I think Watson having the worst QB'ing season in decades will lead to Haslam blessing it

    2025 NFL Draft

I could any of Cleveland, Carolina, Las Vegas, Tennessee, and NYG taking one at 1.1, and I could see LAR and Miami taking one in the top ten as QBs to groom

    2025 NFL Draft

I agree with the recency bias on QBs I think Carolina views Young as sunk cost and wouldn't be surprised if they look to trade him away for whatever they can get. Cleveland might have to move on from Watson as the starter regardless of the contract, he's been playing historically bad Shedeur has been playing better recently. I think the top six QBs can go in pretty much any order, so I'm not going to quibble with how they're ranked at this point in the draft
