  1. Both games have been preseason games, including the Texans players and coaches, the refs, and the coaches/players of the other teams. Luckily individual plays of brilliance have houston up 2-0 and somehow up two games in the division already
  2. Fucking one man rush and Tunsil is offsides
  3. Tunsil is a human idiot
  4. Dare has fucked up twice in big spots
  5. I was the asshole who picked Detroit, which outgained Tampa almost 2xs and still managed to lose
  6. If Houston wins tonight, they’ll have a two game lead on the entire division
  7. I hope we don't signal which is starting against OU so they have to prepare for both
  8. This is almost a must-win game for Jacksonville this weekend against Cleveland. If they lose this one, the next two on deck are road games at Houston and Buffalo, which means likely a 1-3 or 0-4 start
  9. On his pod, Nate Tice called Kenyon Green the most improved player in the league through one week

Haven’t visited this thread in about a year. I’ve starting finding allocated bottles sitting out without really looking. Is this the norm, or am I getting lucky?
  12. There are no hard feelings on either side for moore, but that doesn't change the fact that one side is willing to pay considerably more than the other, and I don't think that fact will change, at least before and during year one
  13. Jacksonville's CB1 is out for at least four weeks. They play Houston in three weeks

    2025 NFL Draft

It's unclear if you're talking about specifically for the 2025 draft or counting guys who'll ever get drafted, but Michigan told any NFL draft guy who came through that they'd break the record (which is 2022 Georgia with 15) last year. They ended up with 13. The next two after 2022 Georgia are 2020 LSU and 2004 Ohio State with 14 a piece. Texas won't get 16 in 2025
  18. They have a bye before their road trip to Bama
  19. The SP+ ranking of the next three opponents, all at home UTSA: #89 ULM: #118 MSU: #51- I don't think this is accurately capturing how bad this team is Texas then has a bye week before the RRSO and Georgia. While the SEC did no favors to Texas by giving Georgia the week after OU, they did give Texas a nice letdown spot in a road trip to Vanderbilt The obvious benefits of this four week stretch are allowing the team to get relatively healthy and giving the young players/backups plenty of playing time (something Texas has frequently struggled with over the past decade given how many close games they've had to play), but perhaps most importantly this stretch gives Texas over a month to prepare for OU/Georgia OU also has a bye before the RRSO, but I suspect they're going to have a much tougher time in the three weeks prior (Tulane, Tennessee, at Auburn) than Texas will and they won't have the luxury of holding anything back in those games or reallocating any resources away from the task at hand. Tennessee is their version of Georgia, and I think Heupel has had this one circled for obvious reasons, and OU could get embarrassed if they don't go all-out (they might get embarrassed anyway). Also, Auburn hasn't looked great, but that's not a place you want to play in a letdown spot

  21. Going a bit off of memory, so I might have detail or two wrong here ... Schultz catches a ball with 15 seconds left that was an iffy catch, and the clock is running. Indy calls a timeout hoping that the refs will review it. Call reversed. Refs say there's 15 seconds left on the clock. Indy coach argues with them and they say "our mistake, 5 seconds left". Houston lines up with their full offense and the clock starts running and they look caught off guard and they try to snap the ball as the clock hits zero; they thought that since Indy called the timeout the clock was stopped, but the review undoes that timeout and Houston doesn't realize it. The refs did do the wind the clock move and Houston coaches should know the rules, but it probably would have been a good idea for one of the refs to either announce that the clock would start or to just tell Demeco since it was a confusing five minutes, and Houston then would have spiked it and kicked a field goal
  22. Seems like Circa was just low Most online sites have it in the -33.5 and -34.5 range
  23. Texas has leveled up. Don’t worry about these games
  24. It opened at Circa yesterday at -30 and at -30.5 at fanduel -34.5 sounds closer to what it should be, but maybe the market expects a relative letdown spot
