  1. I'm a former resident of The Woo in 78757. Is this off of Burnet next to Bill Millers? If so, maybe ask Victor from the neighborhood FB page for his thoughts. He's usually money on issues such as crosswalks and birds in the area.
  2. Jonathan Terrell is another Austin area guy, from Longview originally. Also has some other music out there from his time in "Not in the Face".
  3. What about shipping them to some rust belt cities? They've got spare housing. We can start repatriating that part of the country and help kick off a renaissance for the region, the likes of which have only been dreamed of!
  4. I've done 2 with them. I think if you searched around you might could find the same/similar trips for up to 30% less.
  5. No doubt. I'm relatively new to backpacking and that's what I do. Any of you done the Lone Star Hiking Trail? I did the first 20 mile section but had to stop. Want to go back and try and do the whole thing sometime within the year.
  6. I've always agreed with Steve Eisman's take on Goldman and Merrill from The Big Short. “We have a simple thesis,” Eisman explained. “There is going to be a calamity, and whenever there is a calamity, Merrill is there.” When it came time to bankrupt Orange County with bad advice, Merrill was there. When the internet went bust, Merrill was there. Way back in the 1980s, when the first bond trader was let off his leash and lost hundreds of millions of dollars, Merrill was there to take the hit. That was Eisman’s logic—the logic of Wall Street’s pecking order. Goldman Sachs was the big kid who ran the games in this neighborhood. Merrill Lynch was the little fat kid assigned the least pleasant roles, just happy to be a part of things. The game, as Eisman saw it, was Crack the Whip. He assumed Merrill Lynch had taken its assigned place at the end of the chain.
  7. I have some 3 plus year old Anderson Beans square toe in 15D. Went to the Tecovas store yesterday and bought the Cole in Chocolate Caiman in 15D. The Tecovas are significantly more comfortable.
  8. This guy was a one time resident of Bryan, Tx before moving to New York. Where he supposedly became the first boss of bosses. https://www.gangrule.com/biographies/giuseppe-morello
  9. They better watch out for Luke DeCock. Dude could be looking to give someone the shaft over this.
