Jelani McDonald and Hero Kanu are the only two that jump out at me as guys we really need to keep for next season, maybe Jack Endries?

Nobody has a right to slander Wisner. Iirc he was either the lowest rated RB commit in his class, or lowest non-special teams player overall. Kid has played with a chip on his shoulder since day one, and has had some good days when healthy and the O-line decides to block someone.

Interesting, could this be our first case of NIL making jumping the NFL at the first opportunity no longer a priority? Not getting my hopes up, but I think he would have participated in senior day if he already decided to make the leap.

a Disservice to our sport - let's up the ante - decline the bowl game

Same Florida team that just curb stomped FSU? Yes, the same FSU team that beat Bama yet they are going to the playoffs. Oh, and Bama's other loss? BlowU I get your argument and agree our loss is inexcusable, but the fact remains that if we hadn't scheduled the real #1 team to start the season that Florida loss wouldn't matter at all. I don't see any way the committee can justify putting us in the playoffs, but at the same time they can no longer maintain that teams won't be punished for scheduling tough OOC games and not winning them. So because of that we get a toilet bowl while watching two teams we beat head to head go to the playoffs. -

Declining the bowl game would accomplish nothing but making the program look like whining pussies. Even a shitty bowl game means extra practices for the young guys, and playing time for some who haven't seen the field much this year but will be in the two deep next season. -
Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs

Does Caldwell still have eligibility to come back? In any case he won't be the future, this one will be for the young guys, (Including Arch) and yes a glorified scrimmage against another team who hopefully has just as many players opting out -
Please don't mention that name ever again Some of us have PTSD

Fuck me...Arch had 20 yards to.run

Sark's calls tonight have been questionable at best Sucks donkey balls is more accurate

Dgaf if we make the playoffs this year, not sure how much damage we could do if we backdoor in. That said, I really want the W in this one. FIGHT!

Yeah, this game didn't help Michaels draft chances at all. When you're a slightly undersized (and white, let's be honest) DB you simply can't get trucked in the open field.

Reed is a beanpole for sure, but nobody above 6 feet tall meets midget requirements. He's just shifty enough to avoid the direct hits that would shatter his thin bones. That's how he manages to be a durable running QB in spite of being on the thinner side

We won't have wide open receivers every play against aggy, but I do like our chances more than I did this morning. aggy is better on both sides of the ball than they were last year, that's not debatable. That said, they don't look like some sort of once in a generation unbeatable team either. We can and should beat them at home, but we'll see which Longhorn team shows up for that one.

Literally the only thing keeping me from calling for someone to have movers knock on Sarks door (the kind that won't take no for an answer) at 3am, pack his shit up and dump it exactly 200 miles outside the Austin city limits is this.. He did find a way to get the Longhorns in the playoffs two years in a row, one of those when only 4 could get in. We have current scoreboard on our biggest rivals (that could change in two weeks) I really can't think of a realistic coaching candidate I like this year, especially with LSU and Florida also on the hunt. Not to mention he isn't really on the hot seat with BMD's so any talk of this isn't going anywhere this season. That said, if he doesn't bolt to the NFL then some assistant changes need to be made. I love what Akina did here decades ago, but he's at least 5 years past when he should have retired. He isn't the only one, I think it's time for Flood to move along as well...he benefited from being at Bama while Saban still had the machine rolling. Even when Flood had an all NFL caliber line we didn't hold up well against teams with equal talent on D. A loss (or narrow win by a cunt hair) against piggy is all but expected at this point and par for the course this season. Arch is finally playing pretty well but we don't seem to have the horses (or depth) at key positions for any sort of playoff run, and that's on Sark.
