  1. Yea I don’t get how you miss that badly. But the cause seems pretty clear, they have been giving any student with half a brain a free education. Sucks to suck. “If you look at the band from 3.75 GPA to 4.0, there are a lot of students here that pay nothing,” he said. “We lose money on every one.”
  2. Yea we are in uncharted waters. Do you coach a 7’4” player to reach over EVERYBODY to get every rebound possible or do you rein him in to avoid situations where he fumbles a rebound a teammate could have had? My gut says have him go for everything but I’m no expert.
  3. Agree. And even with all of that, if Osman doesn’t collide with Wemby on the late Wemby rebound we are 4-2. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  4. If the season ended today and the Raptors didn’t move up in the draft lottery the Spurs would have the following picks: 8th(from Toronto) 17th(from Charlotte) 21st 😳
  5. This dude doesn’t know what a / means. @Hmbre97
  6. If he stays 99% healthy I put the over/under at 4 championships. But even if he’s 80% healthy he could be injured at playoff time a couple times. But remember the Spurs have a stockpile of picks. We have the Raptors 2024(top 6 protected) and they look awful early on. And then the Hawks picks and swaps starting in 2025(all unprotected!!)
  7. The Raptors pick(top 6 protected) is looking pretty juicy. Their only win is a 3 point win over a bad Timberwolves team. Too soon?
  8. So play good defense and play good offense. Genius advice.
  9. Yes. How dare they compliment one of the top 2 players of all time? And Lebron was pretty good too.
  10. Well duh. Everybody knows you think about baseball to prevent ejaculation, not to prevent an erection. @Dbeasy
  11. I don’t get why people do this. There are mock drafts out there. They are pretty accurate. About half of them have Sanders in the 1st round. Sam Laporta’s success can only help this trend of receiving TEs going high. Lions got him at #34 and he leads all TEs in receiving yards and is in top 30 overall. It’s not tough at all seeing him go in the 1st.
  12. There are 32 NFL teams. And Worthy will probably go in the 1st round.
  13. And Xavier Worthy will run close to a 4.39 and the NFL will also look past his shortcomings. Additionally Worthy is erasing some of the doubts about his hands as the season progresses. The 2024 draft is loaded at WR which might prevent him from going 1st round. He’s a near lock to go in top 2 rounds.
  14. FYI, Tutu Atwell is among the NFL leaders in receptions through two weeks. Despite weighing 149 pounds at the 2022 Combine the Rams selected him in the 2nd round. The NFL is going away from jump balls and empathizing shifty receivers that can create separation and make life easier for QBs. That same trend is happening in college football. Johntay Cook, Devonta Smith, etc are the future.
  15. I don’t get how anybody can see recent NFL drafts and have access to NFL Mock Drafts and still say Worthy won’t go in to the top 2 rounds. The NFL has consistently shown in recent drafts that they don’t care that much about WR size or drops. I haven’t seen a single mock draft that has Worthy past the second round and mock drafts are rarely two rounds off. Now if you want to argue that the NFL drafts poorly that’s a different argument. But Xavier Worthy type players are exactly what the NFL wants and that’s why he will go in the 1st two rounds. I’m of course open to any bets if you really think he goes later than 2nd round. @Thatguy
  16. Good post but you don’t even need to go in to this level of detail. There isn’t a single NFL expert that has a mock draft with Worthy going later than 2nd round. They aren’t 100% accurate but are rarely 2 rounds off. SpiralOut has conceded the argument. We can move on.
  17. For posterity, here is the part of the dumbest fucking post ever. @SpiralOut
  18. Spiral it seems like you don’t follow the NFL draft much so let me help you out. WR size has decreased in importance and separation ability has increased in value. Tutu Atwell measured 5’8” and 149 lbs at the 2021 combine. Not a typo. Sub 150 lbs. And he didn’t even run sub 4.4. Didn’t matter. Rams still drafted him in the second round. Worthy will go in the 1st two rounds. Welcome to the new NFL. @SpiralOut
