  1. Terry Bradshaw had 4 Super Bowls in 6 years. While a great QB, nobody considers him at the very top.
  2. You said Vince and Colt carried the team and that made for a great QB. Street was 20-0. He carried the team. I was using your argument for what makes a great QB. You don't even understand the wishbone and how important the QB and his decision making and timing was in that offense.
  3. You just have a stupid opinion. You admit you are ignorant but still insist that you have a valid opinion. As you say yourself. Street carried the team. He did what needed to be done to win. As a wishbone QB, he made all the decisions. He changed the entire game. Almost everyone adopted the wishbone within a decade. I never saw him live, but I saw him on TV and just knew he would do it. 20-0 and an MNC along with a top rating in Sagarin in the first year (when the team was 0-1-1 without him starting). That's a stat you conveniently ignore. He got the nation focused on UT. Notre Dame came out of 40 years of bowl hibernation. We were the undisputed national champs in the 100th year of college football.
  4. Street changed college football. We started off 0-1-1 and then let Street run the wishbone.
  5. He does have one phenomenal stat. And a great story. When heckled while playing baseball against OU he shut them up by holding up 4 fingers. The 4 times he beat OU at QB.
  6. Yeah. The greatest QBs aren't necessarily the greatest with stats. 1. Vince 2. Colt 3. Street 4. Layne Nobody else warrants being on the list.
  7. Nonsense. Paterno just was afraid to play Texas in Dallas. And then he whined all day.
  8. Yes. One more full football member. Probably are going to have to add Texas St. They are apparently still dreaming of Memphis and Tulane, but they've already been turned down once. MWC schools are locked up in GOR.
  9. McMurphy says NIU will accept offer to move from MAC to MWC for football only next week. This is the board agenda item:
  10. Kirby is out there all the time. Still, I've never seen a penalty on it. I've seen lots of warning penalty flags. But they rarely do a 2nd one for the penalty yards. The guy just had a foot in the white. The only reason the ref called the penalty instead of the warning is because he was ticked. You could see he was furious.
  11. Definitely Baker Mayfield vibe! For all y'all trashing on UGA here, they did make Baker Mayfield cry at the Rose Bowl..
  12. I've decided most announcers are idiots as well.
  13. Tulane, Georgia Tech and Suwanee are more SEC schools than aggy and show me aggy. Tulane and Georgia Tech have more SEC titles than pig and cock.
  14. Plenty of other legitimate stuff to complain about-targeting (or whatever penalty that elbow to the head on the INT was), roughing the passer at least a couple of times, ineligible men downfield, holding, missed pass interference.
  15. I couldn't believe the spot at the time, but they had the replay on the big screen at the stadium. The ball gets just to the yard line, then he gets hit and then twisted back. It was a great effort by the defense, but just a fraction of a second too late. The spot was good.
  16. He was probably just making a joke about us booing him. When he got announced for the Peach Bowl HOF, he got a lot of boos. And he was laughing the whole time.
  17. Your pictures are all after he got turned by the defense. The nose of the ball hit the yellow before he got hit.
  18. If its the one you are talking about, he did get the ball to the line before he got hit and twisted around. He ended up a half yard short, but it was a good spot.
  19. You are consistent. When you are wrong, you continue to insist you are right, no matter how stupid your take.
  20. He cannot hit long throws. He's great at short and intermediate. We could beat their DBs every time. Arch would have had 4-5 TD passes at least. But then Sark let Quinn do his stuff the last two minutes and OT and he got 2 FG attempts and 2 TDs and a 2 point conversion, despite 4 false starts.
  21. Reads bulletin boards instead of rule books. It was a classic perfect face to face form tackle, the way you are supposed to do it. Although I don't think anybody really knows what targeting is. Losing team always whines about imaginary targeting calls.
