  1. Look man, I know we’ve listed some of Hamm’s personal info on here in the past, but posting a picture of his car and home is too far. No idea what the money’s doing in the photo. Maybe it’s alimony backpay now that he’s making so much money off his new website.
  2. Yep. I think Zak’s statements and all the rumors thrown around was a way to try to push Danny to decline, but he was never going to do that. It definitely seems like McLaren is trying to line up all the brightest IndyCar stars to give one of them a chance in 2024. I don’t follow IndyCar super closely, but I’ve been really impressed with Palou every time I see him. I think he might be the best driver on the grid. Herta shows potential but seems way too inconsistent right now.
  3. Can you imagine how much money the one recruit who actually attends the pool party is gonna have thrown at him? That guy is gonna have the lowest deductible car insurance policy available in the continental United States!
  4. That list looks pretty plausible. Only having 2 of 10 on defense and only 1 of them starting certainly seems like an accurate depiction of our physical talent short fallings on defense. On the flip side, we have a ton of deep speed on offense for Sark and Ewers to be able to stretch the field at all times.
  5. Oh man, the only thing that could make this aggy meltdown better is an all time Daddy98 drunken bender. He’s surfaced. Now time for him to start pounding the Jack and Coke’s for the rest of the afternoon.
  6. Yeah, we’re at 18 commits and taking at least 10 more, probably higher than that if we keep landing top targets. We’ll either be pushing a few guys out of the bottom of this class near NSD, like we did last year, or aggressively pushing some current players out of the program to stick to the 85.
  7. I don’t know that anyone ever really doubted it. Why would he voluntarily walk away from $20 million and an F1 seat when anything else he does will still be waiting for him in a few years?
  8. There’s a difference between being mentally prepared your whole life to play the position and having mental toughness in big moments. It seems like someone who’s as mentally fragile as you should understand that.
  9. Nobody plays 8 or 9 guys on the OL regularly. You play your best 5 and then hope you have a decent IOL and OT backup.
  10. I think it depends. If it’s a Haynes King situation where he doesn’t have a ton of great offers and it ends up between aggy and Baylor, then probably, but if he has committable offers to schools like tOSU or ND, then it could be very different. Stroh is from a redass family, yet he committed to UT bc he believes it’s a better school and we offered early and recruited him hard while aggy slow played him, and aggy has slow played Novosad even more and shown him he’s much less of a priority repeatedly. It’s already been a few weeks since his A&M offer. If he was going to automatically flip and not consider better options, then I think we would’ve seen it by now.
  11. Holy shit. Looch saying they can get a top 10 class but the margin for error so tight might be the most negative thing I’ve ver heard Looch say about aggy recruiting. They must be absolutely fucked.
  12. Oh what you don’t think it’s plausible? Big12 commissioners and P5 ADs have to buy car insurance too, pal.
  13. Yeah, can you imagine these cars aero with a lighter, smaller footprint? It would be absolutely incredible. It’s crazy watching races from the 80s and 90s and seeing how nimble those cars were. They drove much more like decked out go karts, and allowed for much more creative overtaking, as opposed to recent cars, which pretty much require DRS overtakes or dive bombing a corner to get in the other cars way. The one exception would be some beautiful high speed corner overtakes like Leclerc on Hamilton at the end of Silverstone. I think my biggest frustration is that these cars are so big it means each race has only 1 or 2 true overtaking spots, so you just wait for faster cars to make the same overtake again and again.
  14. While true, these stats always get weighted heavily when you lose your QB, and the “production” we lost is guys like Casey Thompson, BJ Foster, Joshua Moore, Cade Brewer, and Brendan Schooler. Kerstetter and maybe Okafor/Imade is about the only even decent production I can think of that we lost. If anything, our problem is more that we didn’t do enough to improve on the guys who are returning, like at edge, safety or LB.
  15. I would hate to be that poor gas station attendant in the middle of bumfuck Arizona who doesn’t have man bun hair ties and CTJ’s favorite flavor of pop tart in stock. On the bright side, he probably won’t know what rube or coelenterate means so CTJ’s rant won’t fully land.
  16. Translation: Novosad is currently A&M’s #1 target at QB
  17. If this quote is accurate, it sure sounds like Seb will be retiring at the end of the year.
  18. If that’s what did it, there would be a hell of a lot more pages than just 316 that are borked.
  19. Really glad Leclerc got the win today. Even when Ferrari are clearly the fastest, they still make it difficult. One thing I will say for them is while they’ve struggled mightily with strategy and reliability, they do usually have the setup nailed. That’s one area they’ve been better than everyone else this year. RB have been nowhere in 2 races this year (Australia and Austria) due to bad setup.
  20. Well that sprint race was decent, but it’s gonna make the race very boring tomorrow. All it really does is put cars directly in their spots based on race pace.
  21. Sounds like you must be more miserable than a foodie at an aggy recruiting event.
  22. Hamm’s not an aggy booster. You need to have money for that.
  23. Oh, we’ll if all you want is an OL that knows the game plan, doesn’t make any mental mistakes, and executes it well for 60 straight plays, then I guess that’s not asking too much.
