  1. This guy from Cerry Creek is a DE, and Regis is being recruited by everyone as a DT. I assumed that "The Get Down" was a reference to The Greater Dallas Area (Possibly Garland), and was referring to the Lakeview Centennial DT Iwunnah.
  2. I could have guessed that you of all people would chime in with this response. The point, of course, is not that he is wrong. The point is the agenda. Why would he make this article/graphic/tweet? What exactly is he trying to illustrate, and why is he taking the time to do so? I saw that he did the same thing for Georgia, but only upon request. Did he do the same thing for recruits from all the other 48 states? Why is he talking about Texas, and not California? Why, oh why, I wonder indeed. The guy makes this garbage up all the time, and then usually takes the time to go and troll orangebloods afterward. He shamelessly has some sort of an agenda.
  3. What would you say you do here? You want to constantly talk about the disappointing losses suffered by Oklahoma and Texas (in the case of Maryland, suffered two years ago), but you want to ignore and neglect the impotence of Nebraska that is currently taking place? What is it that you want exactly? You left the conference and you do not play any of these teams anymore. I know you cannot handle rejection, or cannot accept that the world does not revolve around you, but perhaps Nebraska and their fans would be better served by focusing on the task at hand. The Texas and Oklahoma boogeymen, who were apparently out to get you, are no longer your reality. You no longer need be concerned about Big 12 Championship games, or complaining about being the king of the lackluster Big 12 North division. You have traded all these demons for Indiana and Northwestern, and if you try hard enough you might be able to best them.
  4. Lol I could never pretend to understand being this delusional. Are you saying that playing OU every year was your only historical tie to the Big 12? Wasn't your team a divisional power for most of the life of the conference? In a division that included 5 former Big 8 and Missouri Valley conference members in it? GTFO
  5. Who cares if the B1G plays or not? I am simply here to witness all the tantrums and crying by Nebraska, which is seemingly wrecking B1G unity from within. It is so remarkable and gratifying to watch another conference deal with them, and to witness the complete wrecking of the reputation of B1G in the process. It must have been remarkable to watch when they did it to the Big 12 as well. I hope it keeps playing out.
  6. There is no point in even having a discussion about nebbie from this point forward. It is very apparent that they were delighted to sell their highly regarded athletic program for a one-fourteenth share of BTN, some research grants, and a place in the line between Minnesota and Northwestern to get a chance to cower on their knees in front of Michigan and tOSU and suck the royal rod. They will be an afterthought for the rest of CFB history. At least those cowards will not be pushed around by the big 12 anymore though.
  7. You will be the only one to acknowledge it, and it is because you are uniquely positioned to see the real truth. There is no one else in this world who can figure this out, and can see it for what it actually was. It was a coup. Hillary was using her private server to email Steele and the Russians. They were planning to stage an orgy while wearing Trump masks, and then Steele was supposed to have sent the tapes to the FBI. Ultimately the plan fell through, so Steele wrote a fake dosier at the last minute to give to the FBI instead. They fell for it, hook, line, and sinker.
  8. To be fair, Kirk did miss his freshman season with injury as well. It goes to show that if a player has a season ending injury in his first year, then it is safe to say that he will spend his entire collegiate career on the injured list. Please do not aggress the infallible logic presented on this board, it will just cause a rift here in the community.
  9. Maybe we could elect some representatives to do this kind of auditing. Sounds like a great idea if we could somehow make it happen.
  10. Think for a moment about what aggy will put out there for the following positions (groups), and then maybe explain your optimism for us: RB? QB? OL? LB? DB?
  11. Sure... *wink* ...these readjustments must be based off of hudl watching.
  12. Yeah, I do not understand the movement within these phases of re-rankings. There have been no camps, no practices, nothing to base these adjustments on. It just seems like they are trying to create stories, clicks, and conversation out of thin air...
  13. Sounds exceptionally brilliant to me. Par for the course for the type of political ideologue generally found on OB's.
  14. This is an interesting and important take, and I would like to hear more of your knowledgable and expert opinions on matters of epidemiology, public health, and public policy.
  15. Some people enjoy a good picture, especially in graphic interchange format. I mean, communication in textual form leaves a lot to the imagination, in regards to the complete lack of tone, facial expression, and body language. GIF, or not, effectively communicating in the wild jungle of a messaging community such as Surly can be a formidable task.
  16. Who the hell are you exactly? Are you some sort of a credentialed aggy, or troll investigator? I did not troll anyone whatsoever, whatever the fuck that means. I simply stated my objective, and mostly worthless opinion on the matter. What the hell have you added to the conversation? All you did was come in and quietly finger fuck what someone else posted. The reasons for this remain mostly nebulous to this point, but it probably has something to do with you crying alone in your bed when someone attempts to perform an autopsy of the decision-making eminence of a retired athletic director.
  17. As for my allegiances, I do not even know how to respond to that. I grew up in Austin, and have watched every Texas game since I was about 10. I'm sorry if I am not defending the honor of Dodds in my statements, but I really do not think that is a productive exercise. I have never been a buttsniffing yes-man. I tend to think of myself as a realist instead. I apologize if it rankles your little titties to the point where you have to put a little hate face on my post.
  18. You seem like a real piece of work, man. Again, why dont you stay silent, and finger fuck the opinions of others in the shadows. Looking through your history, that seems to be all you really do. You don't ever really add anything of value to any conversation, or submit your thoughts for everyone to quietly neg like a bunch of little bitches.
  19. Some discussion about Pac 12 decision making regarding playing football in 2020, and how it might affect USC here: https://247sports.com/college/usc/Article/USC-football-Pac-12-Notre-Dame-return-to-football-146865293/ I was reading this article the other day, and remembered it after catching up with this thread today.
  20. Fair enough. I cannot put myself into the dishonorable position of defending the manliness of the CU, UN, UM, and aggy athletic departments. However, I do wish they were all still in the Big 12.
  21. Of course, that is what we say around here, isn't it? Do you think that if things were going swimmingly, that they would be whoring themselves out to other conferences? Of course they wouldn't have been. No one will confuse those schools as being Big 12 loyalists, but they certainly did not need to read a weather report to know which way the wind was blowing. The conference AD meetings would have made a great reality tv show.
  22. ... and I believe this is the part we are retrospectively debating here. He did a lot of stuff that was good for the University, but I am also saying that his shrewd UT-minded bean counting synchronously critically wounded the fuck out of our conference for the foreseeable future, before he rode off into the sunset.
  23. If she's hot enough, why not?
  24. I mean, what would you call it, man? You expect me to believe that we did everything we should have, and that the current conference situation is exactly what is best? It seems that something, somewhere, in the Big 12 war room went FUBAR, and our AD in fact played a part in that mess. Four teams left, and it now seems that nobody has been better for it. Call me a troll, or neg bomb me, whatever you want. Hopefully, CDC can do what is optimal for the University, for both the long and short-term time frames.
