  1. Yeah, but you knew deep down somehow Florida would fit into the story.
  2. Russia is impotent and direct conflict with the West doesn’t appear to be China’s style.
  3. Deadly Asian Needle Ants Found in US June 14, 2025 by David Jones The U.S. Forestry Service has reported the presence of Asian needle ants in Florida, particularly in areas near Tallahassee and along the state’s east coast. This has sparked concerns due to the potential health risks associated with these ants. The sting of an Asian needle ant can trigger a severe allergic reaction, anaphylaxis, which can be life-threatening. The risk is even higher for individuals with allergies to certain foods or bee stings. It is recommended that anyone experiencing a reaction to a sting seek immediate medical attention. Dr. Debbie Castle, an ant behavior biologist at the University of South Florida, has provided some insight into the behavior of these ants. According to her, only the worker ants have the capacity to sting, while the queens and males do not. The sting of an Asian needle ant is similar to that of a fire ant, known for their painful bites. As a precautionary measure, individuals allergic to fire ant stings are advised to carry an EpiPen. Asian needle ants differ from fire ants in their habitat preferences. While fire ants are commonly found in grassy areas, Asian needle ants favor forested regions abundant in decaying wood. This means they are less likely to be found in well-kept lawns. Fire ants, which were introduced to Florida in the 1920s and 1930s, have since spread worldwide, even reaching China. The arrival of Asian needle ants in Florida has raised concerns about the potential impact of another invasive species on the ecosystem. It is believed that Asian needle ants were introduced to the U.S. through international trade, specifically in the soil of imported plants and landscaping materials. Their tendency to inhabit underground and under-rock areas allows them to travel unnoticed, leading to their unintentional spread. Dr. Castle’s interest in ants stems from her background in psychology. She is intrigued by the similarities between ant and human social behavior. Ants display complex social structures, providing homes for their queens and young, and engaging in territorial battles. These behaviors provide insights into cooperation and resilience in challenging circumstances. The presence of Asian needle ants in Florida serves as a reminder of the challenges posed by invasive species. Residents are advised to remain vigilant, especially in wooded areas, highlighting the importance of understanding and managing the ecological impacts of these species.
  4. It seems like we may end up with more signees from Georgia than from Texas.
  5. Not ideal, but maybe he will gain some speed and athleticism when his body is reshaped.
  6. How many years do you think things will stay as they are before significant conference realignments?
  7. Why would a US politician want something that is very, very bad for us and western europe? In 2021, China and Iran signed a $400 billion, 25-year strategic cooperation agreement. This deal included significant Chinese investments in the Iranian economy in exchange for a steady supply of discounted Iranian oil. The agreement also encompassed increased military cooperation, including joint training exercises, research and development, and intelligence sharing.
  8. Was one offer from us not enough?
  9. How many visitors are in this weekend? Is there enough pussy in Austin to support them?

  11. Talk about tunnel vision. On 26 October 2024, Israel launched three waves of strikes against 20 locations in Iran and other locations in Iraq, and Syria. The Israeli attack involved over 100 aircraft, including F-35 Lightning II stealth fighters, traveling 1,200 mi and using heavy munitions. A preceding attack on Syria reportedly targeted radar defenses. The IDF stated it has completed "precise and targeted strikes" in response to "months of continuous attacks" from Iran and its proxies, as well as a recent barrage of Iranian missiles on Israel on 1 October. In retaliation for Operation Days of Repentance, Iran launched a drone attack on Israeli territory, firing over 100 drones towards Israel. All of that set in motion for what happened yesterday.
  12. Okay Tucker, I agree that there is a cost to the action. Now estimated the cost of doing nothing.
  13. Majority/minority, it doesn't matter. Although the flavor may differ, tyranny almost universally wins during civil unrest.
  14. 2 Georgia LBs - sounds like tough competition. Hopefully, we can pull at least one of them.
  15. I think he is okay with J Mack visiting Texas this weekend.
  16. Max Wright has pretty bad feet. Michigan supposedly had a lot of interest, but personally I don’t see it. Krempin supposedly wants to play tackle. He has decent feet and could do it, but I think his greatest potential is at guard.
  17. Slx’s dad passed away in Carefree, AZ way before NIL. Transferring is easy, there are no more program guys and we have a coach who operates more like Jack Welch and Nick Saban trimming the fat than fucking Butterteeth. And there is no way in hell that you can compare Brock Fitzhenry at a 5’8 170lbs from Hicksville Giddings to two well built 6’0” guys who run sub 11 100M from Pearland and Waxahachie.
  18. Perhaps by you - Translation of my point.
  19. Sure this hits close to home, but I ain't mad, quite the opposite. I'm semi-retired, driving rural roads and treating patients with names like Tina Packstheheat.
  20. think it is bad in Texas, you should hear the comments in Idaho, Montana and Nevada. Basically, none of the nearby states like Californians driving up prices and changing the local dynamics.
  21. At my wedding they played Sloop John B
  22. I tried looking at his film but he either pancaked his man or drove him back 10yards. It was hard to tell if he had good feet because he was never working in space. He’s massive and from the little that I could see has much, much better feet than our other tackle commit, but probably not good enough feet for left tackle.
