  1. His production will most certainly go down because of who he is surrounded by and pundits will say he had a down year and will decrease his draft stock.
  2. Mark me down as never having relations with a mafia boss’ daughter or niece.
  3. Good players can come from anywhere especially from schools that “recruit”. “That school hasn’t had a player since…” is such a tired trope. still don’t care about losing Calicut, though
  4. Lifeguard Impaled by Beach Umbrella Summarize June 26, 2025 by David Jones A lifeguard at the Jersey Shore suffered a severe injury when she was impaled by a beach umbrella, necessitating its removal by sawing it into smaller pieces before she could be transported to a hospital, according to local authorities. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Asbury Park’s 3rd Avenue Beach, when the lifeguard was impaled by an approximately six-foot-long umbrella. The umbrella penetrated her body under her left shoulder and exited through her back, according to Asbury Park Fire Chief Kevin Keddy. The umbrella was protruding about a foot from her body, he added, describing the severity of the injury. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. One theory being considered is that the lifeguard may have been attempting to retrieve an umbrella that was being blown away by the wind, and subsequently fell onto the stake. Emergency responders had to resort to using a bandsaw to remove the stake from the woman’s body in order to fit her into an ambulance. The stake was sawed off from both the front and the back to make it more manageable. “We had to saw off the stake from the front and the back to make it more manageable. We bandaged her up and transported her to the hospital,” Keddy said. Despite the severity of her injuries, the lifeguard remained conscious and alert throughout the ordeal. waiting for pics
  5. Yeah, but @BurntOrange&White is giving Crowell a lot of coverage as well. Nevertheless, I’ll wait for @Helobious to chime in and then choose the other option.
  6. I wish we would have pursued Sam Utu harder. Dude would be a beast on the interior.
  7. I’ve never seen a little guy take so many big hits in my life. It would be nice if he juked someone every once in awhile vs. you no going head first into a defensive lineman.
  8. I wonder if our wide receiver class last year has any bearing on our wide receiver class this year. In other words, if the freshmen look good in practice maybe the staff would be okay getting developmental players this year. Personally, I think the answer is that the coaches may look at the overall health of the room but barely even take the freshmen class into account simply because you never know how things will turn out with freshmen even if they are performing well in practice (see Cook).
  9. I think we will have more bunker busters for the other deep tunnel facilities.
  10. That's a big motherfucker. Seems like he would be hard to move.
  11. Shit yeah I scored more pts I think he died like 13 years ago.
  12. I seriously doubt that they said “Hey Texas is offering you $200,000 but we will let you start immediately”. That’s total wish casting. Equal money via promises (who knows if they can actually fulfill those promises) plus the sales pitch is the name of the game. So basically, all things being equal where would you rather play. Not us, what would it take for you to come here? $300K - Let me go talk to my manager. He says he can’t go higher than $250K, but we can throw in some nice dish towels. What do you say? You coming here?
  13. I don’t know how many hospitals are in Be'er Sheva but I know a woman who is an MD at one of them.
  14. I’m in Missoula right now - we should play University of Montana.
  15. Cuz Iran leadership is shit
  16. Generally, the Ukraine/Russia discussion has been pretty politically free and commentary has been more subject oriented. Every once in awhile the cloak room people and associated commentary crop up but overall it has been good since the thread was started in 2022.
  17. Indulging your thought process, China would be starting WWIII. And if Russia decided to use the cover of us preventing Iran from getting nuclear fissile material to nuke Ukraine, Russia would be starting WWIII.
  18. Most people fear their own death, the death of their loved ones, and/or the death of their people. A dirty bomb ensures that their life is forfeited and the lives of their loved ones and their country may end as well.
  19. I agree with Sydney here but it may just be because I want to be his buddy.
  20. made this post earlier but for some reason I don’t see it. got this in my inbox:
  21. Israel says it killed senior Iranian general Israel’s military said it had killed a senior Iranian general “in the heart of Tehran” overnight. The Israeli Air Force said it struck a command centre and killed Ali Shadmani, the commander of Iran’s main centre for designing, coordinating and overseeing military operations. Israel said the killing “adds to a series of eliminations of Iran’s most senior military leadership and degrades the chain of command of the Iranian armed forces”. It said Shadmani was appointed following the killing of his predecessor at the start of Israel’s campaign on June 13. Iran has not confirmed the Israeli claim. https://www.ft.com/content/03475842-014c-402b-8fd0-be77a89decc1 Trump says Macron wrong about his G7 summit exit Donald Trump said his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron was wrong about the reason the US president left the G7 summit in Canada early, saying it was not to work on an Israel-Iran ceasefire. “He has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington, but it certainly has nothing to do with a Cease Fire,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “Much bigger than that.” Earlier, Macron said Trump told G7 leaders that discussions were under way to obtain a ceasefire between Iran and Israel. Trump, who described Macron as “publicity seeking”, said: “Whether purposely or not, Emmanuel always gets it wrong. Stay Tuned!” G7 backs Israel and calls Iran ‘principal source of terror’ The G7 leaders agreed a statement on the Middle East late on Monday backing Israel’s right to defend itself and saying Iran can “never have a nuclear weapon”. The statement, backed by all members including the US, reiterated the group’s “commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East”. They added: “In this context, we affirm that Israel has a right to defend itself. We reiterate our support for the security of Israel.” The leaders described Iran as “the principal source of regional instability and terror”, adding: “We have been consistently clear that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.” The statement urged that the resolution of the Iranian crisis leads to a broader de-escalation of hostilities in the Middle East, “including a ceasefire in Gaza”. They said the G7 countries would “co-ordinate” to ensure stability in energy markets.
