  1. I do think this shows that we are willing to spend when we have an absolute need and the likelihood of early college success is high. For RB maybe we will wait to see what we have and for OL, the cost wasn’t worth the risk for our tackle option.
  2. That actually surprises me. Didn't CTJ post on the old 360 board?
  3. wife's also
  4. Just turned 60 - it sucked - but better than the alternative. But I would be careful engaging in this conversation with Tforn. You are only 10 less than me. I think he is in his 30s. About 17 years ago I was having a conversation with a med school student from UGA and he was saying that Georgia hadn’t had a good kicker in years. And I said who was that guy who kicked like a 62 yarder … I think his name was Butler. He said he didn’t know a Butler, then thought about it for a second, and said “Wait a minute, that’s Kevin Butler, his son is on the team now”. I turned around and walked away in shame. Well, sure that’s a funny story. But that was like 17 years ago. That kid for Georgia is 36 now and his son will probably be kicking for Georgia pretty soon. MTF, getting old sucks.
  5. My son is about to get engaged so I may be only a couple of years away.
  6. Well, you failed.
  7. Grieving family of murdered South African superyacht ‘golden girl’ travel to Bahamas to face alleged killer By Ronny Reyes Published July 10, 2025, 11:45 a.m. ET The grieving family of the South African “golden girl” crew member found dead in the Bahamas have traveled to the Caribbean nation to face the superyacht engineer accused of sexually assaulting and murdering their daughter. Paige Bell was found partially undressed in the ship’s engine room on July 3 — just days before her 21st birthday — with Mexican national Brigido Munoz, 40, charged with her murder before a Nassau court on Wednesday. 4 Paige Bell, 20, was considered a “golden girl” crew member. Chelsey Jacobs/Facebook As the grizzly details of her death were recounted before the court, the victim’s parents, Michelle and John Bell, were on the island to “begin the painful process of bringing their baby girl home,” the Daily Mail reported. “Our family is facing an unimaginable journey,” Bell’s sister, Chelsey Jacobs, said in a statement, adding that her family is “seeking justice for the monster that took her life.” 4 The Far From It super4 yacht sailing in the Bahamas. motoryacht_farfromit/Instagram Super yacht crew member killed on deluxe ship days shy of 21st birthday During Wednesday’s hearing, the court heard that Bell was found with slash wounds on her neck, with additional injuries found on her arms, suggesting she tried to fend off her alleged attacker, according to the Mail. Because her body was found partially dressed, officials believe Munoz may have sexually assaulted Bell, but he has only been charged with murder so far. 4 Superyacht engineer Brigido Munoz, 39, is accused of murdering Paige Bell. brigido.munoz.12/facebook Police found Munoz with injuries around his arms, describing them as a result of a suicide attempt. He was hospitalized before being charged. The two crew members worked aboard the Far From It superyacht, which ran charters for nearly $140,000 a week. At the time of Bell’s death, the ship was anchored off Harbour Island. A native of Johannesburg, Bell was remembered as a “golden girl” by loved ones, while former employers in the yachting world also spoke glowingly of her, according to the UK outlet. “Paige was more than a teammate, she was family,” wrote a crew member from one of her former boats, Sweet Emocean. 4 Paige Bell’s family is grieving her death. Gofundme “From day one her vibrant energy and positivity shone through, she was loved by her crew members. Not to mention being a rockstar in guest relations,” Stephanus Coetzer, another Sweet Emocean wrote on Facebook. Coetzer said it was Bell’s dream to rise to the top as a manager of a yacht crew, and pushed others to aspire to be their best. A GoFundMe was set up to help the family retrieve Bell’s body and pay for the funeral expenses.
  8. Dude, he said, " it’s been said here we are saving money for 3 players". And you know that he is in Maui. So, I think reading comprehension would indicate that he heard it in Maui, probably from a patient under sedation.
  9. I was feeling pretty good until I saw this.
  10. It has been so many years, but I vaguely remember that the high school knock on him was that he was lazy - but it was known that he had an NFL body.
  11. unfortunately/fortunately I need it explained.
  12. I think conspiracy theorists have always been around: Social media just gives them a louder voice and more visibility. It also gives them validation as like people flock to their site. But I always thought that conspiracy nuts were nuts on a single subject like aliens or moon travel. Is it really the same people who think microchips were in the Covid vaccine? Not that it would surprise me, but I guess I don’t even come across many kooks in my readings. Well, that is except for Surly kooks.
  13. That sounds like a personal issue that you will have to reconcile within yourself. Plenty of scientists believed that a lab leak was possible. The issue was that the initial response from authorities was that it wasn't a lab leak. This moved the lab leak theory to the land of conspiracy. And some people have a natural tendency to dismiss any and all conspiracy theories. Now that it is proving true, the people who were involved in the coverup either knowingly or unknowingly now are not willing to speak up to admit their fault and their part in spreading the Chinese coverup theories. Once you agree with all that there is only one more leap that you will have to make for complete clarity.
  14. I thought I was watching a snuff film. She is lucky to be alive.
  15. Or he doesn’t want to lose his subscriber base that is close to jumping.
  16. I have a feeling William and Mary will be screwed.
  17. I've got to say that that is better than Katfid would have done.
  18. Wouldn't you have to be 18 in most states to enter a binding contract?
  19. We really screwed up when we didn't use Home with the Armadillo as a sing-a-long at home games.
