  1. With a top 3rd Big 12 QB Texas is probably -1 or -2 right now. Casey had back to back weeks with the chance to win the game and failed to get a first down either time. We officially have a QB issue.
  2. Hard not to be an upgrade at this point. I'd even consider hiring Margin Hooks just to be done with Coleman
  3. With Dykes headed to TCU we better money whip Samples or TCU will clean up DFW
  4. Looks like SMU will open as well with Dykes to TCU
  5. If TCU can pull this off then maybe we can send PK away without a full buyout
  6. Very true just wanted to add any possibility with a 10% or higher chance. Imo Dabo is still a year or two early from jumping ship and in regards to Riley no coach goes from a Blue Blood to the 2nd tier ever. The only one with a real chance is Jimbo and that is mainly due to his history there and at his age this will be the window he has to make that jump.
  7. This off season could be nuts with all of the movement, we could have the following open: USC UCLA LSU Nebraska Penn State Virginia Tech Tech TCU Washington State Based on the LSU smoke add one of the following: OU, Clemson, A&M A few wild cards depending on the finish to the season: FSU, Miami, Florida, Michigan
  8. They also know that they would realize the recruiting potential that everybody thought Ewers had and then some. OL, RB, and WR would line up to play with tomorrow. FWIW while perusing tiger droppings I saw that one of their insiders confirmed he is all Texas still
  9. Nothing would surprise me with this AD until proven otherwise. They already screwed up by giving him 6 years. Per the interwebs the buyout this year is only $20.6 million so maybe we have cheap out after year 2 or 3.
  10. A Pruitt/Raymond/Davis led defensive staff has a top 30 defense and top 3 recruiting class at this point. Things like this are why Urban would rather lose 15 games every year in the NFL than coach here.
  11. Franklin, Campbell, Fleck and now Fickell have all been rumored to leave over the past few years. Even Harbaugh had been on thin ice for a few years. I'm just thinking Franklin to USC finally gets some of those dominoes to start falling. Add Nebraska opening up this year and it'll be a crazy off season for coaching changes.
  12. Which is why he should not get the start next week. If we pull out a win after Worthy spots him his usual 2 TDS and 150 yards then Sark will stick with him the rest of the way no matter what. We need Card to start so he can start getting reps for next year and beyond other wise we lose him for nothing and start to hope Ewers comes home
  13. The only proof we have that he is a good teammate is cause he hasn’t transferred yet. The narrative that he stuck it out is quite stupid once you realized no other top end P5 them would clamor for his services in the portal. He will have fun leading NC State to the Duke’s Mayo bowl next year.
  14. He kept splitting reps and prolonged the qb battle by a month so Casey wouldn't transfer. He then promised them both playing time because Thompson cleaned out his locker when he lost the battle. Card got pulled 2 series early in the Louisiana game so he could appease Thompson. He has allowed a JAGs ego to dictate the position he was hailed to be a godsend at.
  15. The answer is a no because this is exactly who he has been his whole life. Can't be a fraud if this is what was to be expected from a career 500 coach
  16. In what way? A couple good deep throws here and there? If the receiver isn't wide ass open streaking down the field Thompson is ineffective.
  17. He's not. Thompson has had bad luck with drops but man he's been mostly terrible since Tech
  18. VolTiger who is one of their resident insiders seems to think Jimbo is in the drivers seat
  19. They mentioned the two prospects are filling out applications to Texas now to see if they would get in. I assume this means they are more off the radar guys who we didn't finish top 2 or 3 for.
  20. If a former national championship winning coach can't get it done you have to go bigger.
  21. He also walked on at Penn State so no matter the cost Rhule was determined to witness atrocities first hand.
