Austin Regional Thread
Going 2-0 and letting the other 3 teams work through their staffs in 100 degree heat is a huge plus. If we get 7+ from the 1st two starters then we should wrap this up Sunday.

As good as Kendall Rogers is at the macro level when it comes to his aggies he is usually wish casting pretty hard.

2022 Big 12 Tournament Thread
Based on D1s projection this morning we'll likely draw one of the 5 super opponents below. Southern Miss in the 8/9 would be my guess if we can win tomorrow.

Glad we are getting wins with Ivan slumping. Get it out of the way and let him roll the next couple of weekends.

D1 currently has Southern Miss as the last national seed. If UTSA can win again today at 12:30 and we can go 2-0 it'd be real hard for the committee to keep us out with Miami and Louisville getting knocked early.

If not for that random walk off steal and grand slam we'd probably have been ranked top 10 by this point and wouldn't have to sweat about hosting a super. Thankfully we can win the next 2 games and put an end to that discussion

Still like our chances vs TCU but the cakewalk that would have been a Baylor matchup would have been money. Here's to hoping Baylor can make the OSU staff work hard here in the last 3 innings.

Tell Me About Texas a&m
As the saying goes "pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered". Continuing to push the grey area at 10x the market will force the NCAA or even the SECs hand to get them under control

Pete Thamel on Finebaum just called this fued a "war between the #1 and #2 teams in the country". Sad to see how big of an aggy hack he has become

Ahh yes the same guy that so successfully defended Ole Miss when they were brought down is going to make a dent in Saban's armor this time around.

I don't think he will. He wouldn't say what he did if he wasn't looking for a response.

They're a factor but I really meant the other major schools and fan bases have their sights set on College Station now

Feels like this was a trap by Saban to get Jimbo to unnecessarily get the turrets pointed to College Station. It appears to have worked so far.

Guarantee you there are seeds already being planted in the minds of some of them, I'd be shocked if the whole lot make it to the '23 season wearing burnt orange. Of course same goes for nearly everyone aggy reeled in..not just one position group. For schools like Texas getting them on campus is the biggest thing. Once we have them we will almost always have the opportunity to match any offer they receive. Schools like Pitt and the like will have a tough time once their stars start asking for a bump in pay- 2022 Transfer Thread - It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)
Anybody have a read on the tax implications on NIL? In theory if we are within 10% of USC then we are equal or greater in value. Since it is being paid for their likeness I assume they would not be taxed like pro athletes based on where each game is played.- 2022 Transfer Thread - It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)
We would also have a real shot to have the first WR and RB taken which would be huge for recruiting- NIL Recruiting News Megathread
This is smart baseline deals will make it almost impossible to get rid of busts and malcontents. If the aggies really gave out multi year deals then they'll feel the pain if a couple of those done pan out.- Texas vs Purdue - Sunday, 7:40pm on TNT
Screw Purdue Screw the Refs Screw the broadcast and their Purdue hard on Any time a team has 4x the amount of free throws as the other team then it should be declared a no contest and replayed. What a joke of a game. This team deserved to win outside of one bad stretch on offense. The future is bright though once Beard starts getting a few classes in here. - 2022 Transfer Thread - It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)
