  1. What I love about Surly is that, despite the front that this is a bunch of amoralistic shitheads, the most intelligent "fan" discussions of Texas sports happens here. Like, it's possible to have differing opinions, and we at least try to get past the veneer of blind homerism for our team. We don't (generally) dogpile the fans of opposing teams if they bring something to the discussion. And if you say ignorant things like "ketch thinks" you're sent packing. In summary, fuck all of you.
  2. Between that and auctioning his stuff on Twitter, he's more than half way to six figs. Aggy network at its finest. Whoop!
  3. Is Sark the one? Understands modern football landscape, and doesn't bitch about NIL Can recruit Great at roster management and upgrading talent Develops talent Hires credible coaching staff Godlike QB coach Good with alumni and donors Runs a 21st century offense Not old or fat as fuck Improving as game-day coach Wins games The list of question marks about him appears to be getting shorter and shorter ...
  4. Please use the proper nomenclature. It is the Gulf Coast Offense.
  5. Let me just say that these summaries you've been doing, of late, are super appreciated.
  6. I think it's simpler than that. They're just angling for the prime contract after the next Bonfire disaster.
  7. Written in 2011, when we were all young and innocent and didn't need to take our metamucil. Poor kid got banned from Tech for awhile but eventually went to school there and graduated. Looks like this is his Insta. Can only be judged by Mike Leach, apparently.
  8. I know it's unlikely, but I would so very much like to see Deion at CU without Shedeur and Hunter next year.
  9. I'm eager to hear from the ags about how the SEC is a line-of-scrimmage league when they roll out garbage at the OL and on the interior of the DL.
  10. Yep, because Surlyites are all one-percenters who go home at night and bang 10s.
  11. These are dynamically inserted ads. It's up to the podcast creators whether the hosting company inserts them. They are definitely generating additional revenue for OTF.
  12. Agreed. I listen to the podcast audio as well. It's brutal. There will be 1-2 minutes of ads inserted into the program, and then Bobby or whoever will do another 30-60 second read. It's becoming unlistenable. To be clear, I am a huge fan of what Bobby, Gerry, et. al. bring to the table. But they are producing too much material (it is therefore repetitive), and their podcasts come off very much like a website choked with pop-up ads. I hope this is seen as the constructive feedback it is intended to be.
