  1. Heard Razor Boy this morning on with the Musers. It's been an adjustment to get used to his new time but I think I might like it better. I can't say he's wrong about calling the team 'spoon lickers' they know it's wrong, but it's so delicious and therefore hard to stop. They had a damn shutout going and then were dangerously close to getting a fucking tie. I don't know if it's the end of the season grind resulting in coasting, but they keep winning so it's hard to bitch very much. I suppose it's a goad for the coaches to use. Well, it's opening day and then Calgary for the back half of the Alberta twofer. So sports
  2. There's no there there. Whoever you are referring to was deleted.
  3. Did you fire one up around 4 hours ago? Because that's cool and all, but it's a "huh.ok" moment for me.
  4. Elon's watered down piss
  5. Hope and surliness. What a combo
  6. The man saw it coming down the tracks. I've thought about this cartoon a lot. We can identify more train cars full of various voters that might regret it now, but it's too late to get off. You get another chance at the midterms. Elect another R to replace Rubio and it stays the same.
  7. I just don't see it that way. I know that's years of sports trauma talking.
  8. Maybe he got overpaid. Maybe that's what the market will pay. But, I don't think he's wrong about the Cowboys either.
  9. I can't edit out the picture so I'm going to issue a correction here. The beef post is bullshit. Snopes calls it false. The first one is obviously not, but there's no evidence to support the second one.
  10. So much winning In the spirit maker’s quarterly earnings call on March 5, CEO Lawson Whiting said blocking consumers from buying American-made products in Canada or other countries is a crushing blow for U.S. companies. “That’s worse than a tariff because it’s literally taking your sales away completely, removing our products on the shelves,” Whiting told investors. “That’s a very disproportionate response to a 25% tariff." https://www.supplychaindive.com/news/jack-daniels-brown-forman-canada-tariffs-taken-off-shelves-stores-ontario-alcohol-bourbon-trump/741970/
  11. I have barely listened, but it's not due to the people talking. It's the subject matter. I don't give a shit about the Cowboys or Mavs. Neither one deserves a second of my time. Any time Jerry speaks it's an instant punch out. The Mavs are circling the drain. That's why I stopped listening to the Dumb Zone and why I don't listen to anything pertaining to either of them unless it's to kick them. There's no reason to listen to the bullshit excuses. The Cowboys are irrelevant to my sports viewing. I watched more of them on the Red Zone last year than I did the actual broadcast because they are/were irrelevant and boring. Until they show something resembling a clue I have no reason to spend any time or money on them. The Mavs are headed straight back to the ignominy of 13 wins. Yet, that's the two subjects that the the consultants demand we must hear. Fuck'em. I don't have to listen to the bullshit.
  12. That's because he's an idiot
  13. One straw at a time. I avoid Walmart as much as possible. I buy local when I can or as close as I can get. I don't buy stuff for the sake of buying. If it's a shitty deal I don't mind passing on it. I'm not going to pay for things that don't last or are known to be poorly built. I'm much more willing to buy an iron skillet or other kitchen utensils from an estate sale than brand new crap that's going to suck right out of the gate. Part of The Revolution is where you lay your money down. Steve Earle sang about it. It's a known tactic for the consumer. I have no interest in spending a dime with shitty corporations trying to sell me crap. I can't entirely avoid funding assholes that I would rather see fail, but I do my best to limit myself as much as possible.
  14. All the other guys have a misconduct
  15. I swear he's an old 40something. I would have put him at least at 50. Burning the candle hard.
  16. Maybe. Has he played in any of the old guy tournaments? Because that would be admitting that he can't compete with the regular guys and I don't see that happening. He won't give it up. He's Emmit playing for the Cardinals.
  17. We can go get zombie Ben Hogan. He'd do about as well. Tiger is done. The only thing that keeps him coming back is ego.
