  1. Just going to drop this here
  2. Mirtle at The Athletic Utah, meanwhile, had acres of cap space – more than $18 million, fifth most in the league before the deal – and a new market and owner that wanted to go big. Mission accomplished, Ryan Smith. Of note: Peterka signed a five-year, $7.7 million per season contract as part of the deal. Did the Sabres get enough – power forward prospect Josh Doan and defenseman Michael Kesselring – for one of their best young players? Our trade graders, including yours truly, aren’t so sure, but a lot will hinge on Doan’s development and Kesselring’s ability to absorb tough minutes alongside Rasmus Dahlin or Owen Power.
  3. I'm good with it. He is still a strong presence in the room. The money works and I don't have to see him on another team. If he got an extra 2 million because he played 80 games I'm pretty sure they can pay it. 60 is probably more realistic and it's still cap friendly.
  4. It's time. Evander to Van
  5. That didn't stop us previously. I was seriously worried that's what was going to happen. That I was going to head out Sunday morning and overnight the price of a gallon of gas was over 4 bucks. I have seen spikes happen and it flat out sucks. It's not great for the overall economy when it goes negative either. There is so much about the market that rides purely on vibes. What's the quote? The market can be irrational longer than your bank account can stand it. That's not it, but it's the gist of it. The idiot in chief was lucky to have had his little show of force and so far has only further cemented his dumbassery. It was a risky move that didn't accomplish jack shit except scare me and rile up the hardliners over there.
  6. Got a good test run of the bunker busters. Dunno man. Spitballing here. I don't think we can call it Mission Accomplished.
  7. Oil closed at 65 something. Yay. Yeah, I'm selfish. No shame.
  8. He'll spend the money on that fight he's going to lose.
  9. “Texas must enact a regulatory framework that protects public safety, aligns with federal law, has a fully funded enforcement structure and can take effect without delay,” Abbott said. In a statement explaining his veto, Abbott argued that SB 3 would not have survived “valid constitutional challenges,” and that the bill’s total ban “puts federal and state law on a collision course,” noting that the 2018 federal Farm Bill legalized hemp products. “Allowing Senate Bill 3 to become law — knowing that it faces a lengthy battle that will render it dead on arrival in court — would hinder rather than help us solve the public safety issues this bill seeks to contain,” Abbott said. “The current market is dangerously under-regulated, and children are paying the price. If Senate Bill 3 is swiftly enjoined by a court, our children will be no safer than if no law was passed, and the problems will only grow." https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/state/texas-thc-ban-delta-8-9-vetoed-greg-abbott-special-session/287-cca31320-9394-470e-8e69-04477de760e6

  11. I don't know if I can find it but there's an interview of some bald headed general about the time we were supposed to believe there was uranium cake in Iraq explaining why this effort to destabilize Iraq was a bad idea. He's probably pushing up daisies now. He would have been fired or ignored in all this anyway. I'm far more than skeptical that we did anything more than throw money out of airplanes and submarines.
  12. There's a reason why Rick Wilson bailed on his ass.
  13. Can you detect the crayon eaters too?
  14. None of us know a damn thing about what happens next. We don't know if those 6 bunker busters actually did what they were sent to do. We don't know what is happening in Kileen or what is going on anywhere. We're all mushrooms.
  15. The skeptic in me is taking a wait and see approach. Let's see what happens to the price of a gallon of gas in the next 24 hrs.
  16. You're sure about that? Why? What exactly makes you think that he won't find a reason to send troops somewhere for no particular reason? Vibes? We got lied into going to Iraq. What makes it different this time?
  17. Heard the announcers on the CWS say something and got over here to see what was up. There's a zero percent chance of me listening to the blithering idiot saying what a success it was. I guess we'll see what happens next.
  18. That's a hockey name if I ever saw one
