  1. Y'all we did something again. I don't recall seeing this in here, but it's a little fuzzy this morning and I ain't scrolling back. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/hockey-fans-donate-more-than-30k-to-charity-after-death-of-scheifeles-dad/
  2. Is it wrong to hope for Bischel to plant Kane? Because I really want him to get mashed.
  3. I love Sam Steel and his moustache as much as anyone, but I would rather see a PP in the playoffs than a penalty shot by him.
  4. Good thing it's a Saturday because I ain't going to be sleepy any time soon
  5. Hollered loud enough to run off the bad cat
  6. I may have underrated Mr. Woll. Well done sir.
  7. That's a salty potato. Full of grrr
  8. Marner sure has pissed off a lot of people up there. From what I can tell it's a combo platter of grievances.
  9. I said they should have suspended him when it happened. I don't think it would have changed the outcome of the series though. Woll wasn't going to be able to hold down the fort. There's going to be a lot of finger pointing in Leafs land and I wonder who is going to be thrown under the bus and run off.
  10. It's not a big deal. Wind happens.
  11. I knew a guy that had a yard like that. It was mostly native, but he had some adapted stuff like rosemary, some oakleaf hydrangeas, and a few big hollies he left in there. It was in a post oak area so he had those as a base and filled in the gaps. Maintenance was negligible. It's not hard. Kinda fun really. You get a chance to start a collection of stuff and experiment. If it fails or you don't like it, rip it out and try something else. The annuals will start to reseed on their own and after a couple of seasons the perennials take off like crazy.
  12. Fescue is the next step down in shade tolerance. Dwf mondo/monkey grass works well in deep shade too. The drawback to the fescue is that you will have to keep the dogs off of it until it's tough enough to withstand them. It's also not the best time to germinate cool season grasses in Texas. Maybe throw up a temporary fence and try a spot. Move fence and repeat until it's done. Edit: also be sure that the fungus didn't take out the zoysia rather than lack of sun
  13. Another damn late start on Thursday. I hope being worn out and dog tired on Friday is going to be worth it.
  14. Granny puts it right on past him. Juked somebody at center ice like he was slick or something
  15. The only thing that would keep Helle off the ice is getting hurt and it would have to be a bad injury. There's no way they're going to sit him before a game.
  16. There were a couple of HOAs that I worked that had a lot of Indian folks. The grandads had a regular confab at the parks that I would have to break up or at least give them fair warning that I was about to start killing stuff. I did see some kind of Hindu ceremony/celebration/shindig prep at a garage one time. I don't remember which one the elephant guy is. I had one fellow ask me if I could aerate his yard while I was rolling through. Hard pass. No offense, but I'm going to break your irrigation and I'm not paying for your unmarked heads. They had some amazing flower beds.
