  1. The MAGA grifters are literally tweeting prayers for peace between Elon and Trump. We can't build the guillotines fast enough.
  2. Dear Democrats, BULLY THE SHIT OUT OF TRUMP AND ELON. Don't agree with Musk, go after both of them. Narcissistic injury is real and can make them fly off the handle even more. BULLY THEM.
  3. Maybe it's been mentioned on this thread, but I believe Christoph Waltz as Hans Landa is one of the best performances and casting decisions in modern cinema history. I read somewhere years ago that Tarantino was having a hard time finding the right actor to play Landa, to the point where he almost didn't make the film. Then Waltz came into the picture and the rest is history.
  4. Torres talks a good game, but I think there are legitimate concerns with his relationship with AIPAC.
  5. So good. Another scene that had me dying from this episode: Hank talks about his new restaurant "Hank's Look Around Cafe" that he's opening, and Darlene tells him that there's not enough money to build the rotating tables he desires. Then Hank says something like "We'll need investors!" as he flips through Rolodex cards. "It's a good thing I happen to be friends with some of the most influential and powerful people in Hollywood." He hands a Rolodex card to Darlene. "Get Chuck Woolery on the phone." I choked with laughter. Tambor just nails that line.
  6. Season 2, Episode 2: "The List" So many great one-liners in this one. Larry got a divorce from Jeannie in Episode 1, and is now dating his first wife Francine (played by Kathryn Harrold, smoking hot). Alec Baldwin is booked as a guest, and Francine tells Larry she had sex with Baldwin after her and Larry got divorced. Which makes things uncomfortable during the interview. Larry: You were 100% right. From the time he walked out, all I could see is him fucking her. And she was on top! Artie: That lazy bastard...
  7. Season 1, Episode 13 - "The Hey Now Episode" Another great episode and the Season 1 finale. Larry is getting super annoyed with Hank, as he fell asleep on the couch on air and is trying to juggle so many side jobs away from the show. I think this is the first time a musical guest actually plays in an episode, and it's T-Bone Burnett.
  8. Good shit. Here is the clip on YouTube
  9. I think these polls are worthless, FYI. And here's a new one.
  10. Are you a person of color? 'Cause if not, I don't think you can speak confidently on how they are treated.
  11. It makes sense that Reed needed a year to adjust to the NBA. One season as a 6th man at Kentucky to contributing on a NBA playoff team is a huge ask at his height/size.
  12. So far so good, but please no one give Elon credit for this heel turn and instead use it to needle the Trumpers and Elon bootlickers you know. Fuck Elon and Fuck Trump.
  13. Also it would serve the Democrats well to treat Biden's 2020 win as a complete fluke. That if a global pandemic didn't happen, Trump would have easily won again. 2020 presidential election was 100% a pyrrhic victory. Take nothing positive from it.
  14. I can always count on Brisket to be further out on the ledge, and I respect it. I might be slightly more optimistic, but the last 4 words of the above post are true and I think everyone - politicians, voters, any American - really need to come to grips with it: there is no going back. What was will never be again. This country has morphed so quickly that you can't even look to 2024 to figure out what to do next. We need an entirely new path. Past victories and strategies are meaningless.
  15. And I think Jeffries and Booker would be the two worst out of those options. Disarray, baby. Disarray.
  16. This has nothing do with Pete. The copium is coming from you, to the point where you declare that perception is reality. Maybe AOC will become the face of the party. I generally like her. IMO, no one has really taken the reins yet. Jeffries and Schumer are absolute embarrassments, so we need someone to emerge ASAP.
  17. This is misleading, if not outright false. According to your link: AOC - 26% No one - 26% Other - 22% Bernie - 12% 48%, almost half of the respondents, couldn't even come up with a name. The title of the article is "'No one' is the face of the Democrats? New poll should scare the party ahead of next elections". And you read that as AOC is the face of the party? C'mon.
  18. I don't know. Right now I'd say there is no real "face" of the party.
  19. Are you okay? Trump calls AOC the leader because of the "socialist" label attached to her. It's strictly a scare tactic. And you use polling, where in this specific case "No one" and "other" are basically in a 3 way tie with AOC as evidence? What's going on here?
  20. MJ Lebron Bird Magic Hakeem Rasheed Wilt Kareem Russell KD
  21. The first play Arch stepped on the field vs. A&M - Arch Manning TD Marcel Reed and Aggie offense for the entire game - Zero points Looch's hunger to humiliate himself everyday is unrivaled.
