  1. With what Brian Kelly and Mike Norvell are doing, taking some of their salary and donating it back for use by their respective schools... it seems Sark could do something similar with his bonuses, should he choose. That seems like it would be a stand-up thing to do, getting some cash to the players and increasing the spotlight on Texas. Things like that could increase the incentive for players to come to Texas or portal here.
  2. There are better pictures out there....
  3. Hate James Franklin... what a tool.
  4. Let's bookmark that play, lol.
  5. I don't know where else to post this, but have a question about going into the portal. If you go in the portal now and with the playoffs extending longer, is it possible for someone in the portal to get picked up by a school in the playoffs, enroll, and actually play in a playoff game?
  6. Edit: Duplicative statement.
  7. God didn't kick that kick.
  8. I'm just surprised we didn't use Arch for more than just run plays. I mean, the trick play on 4th and 1 was boss... but last I checked, he can throw the ball as well. I figured we might see him coming in for a few plays here and there to shake things up. Keep Kirby guessing. Perhaps he brings a spark. You can still be loyal to Quinn, which Sark clearly is, but let's use the tools at our disposal in more creative ways to catch defenses off guard.
  9. If we had Bevo in the stadium we win. Just saying.
  10. Good game... all things considered, fantastic year in the SEC. Now let's go win a championship! #HookEm!
  11. The halftime show is awful.
  12. Not allowing Bevo is some bullshit. He should go anyway and be available for the fans pre-game... but we should raise holy hell about this and ensure we are allowed to bring him to any championship game/s moving forward.
  13. I think a one-two punch of Quinn and Arch will work for this run. At any rate, we are winning with Quinn, that's good... I like to win. Let's ride. 🤘🏾
  14. It's hard to keep up, this thread is circular.... everything has been said repeatedly and ad nauseam. Drinking while cooking isn't helping either. lol
  15. He was injured to the point we had to turn to the running game, completely.... I don't think that will work for 4 quarters against aggy on Saturday.
  16. Has it been said yet, or does anyone know... What the practice schedule is for the team going into Saturday with Thanksgiving?
  17. He seems to make a lot of throws that we can't. He's slippery and pretty accurate, that doesn't worry you?
  18. Potentially Quinn's last game in the stadium, senior night.... the defense was playing great and we could win with him being 100%. Even hobbled, my guess is they didn't want to take that away from Quinn. Speculation of course.
  19. When this song is played, I like to look around and see how many people are singing the actual lyrics, or skip a particular word. That is funny to me... lol.
  20. I like Quinn and I want him to succeed, as he goes Texas goes. That said, I think he'd have even more success hitting those deep passes. [emoji16] Edit: Punctuation
  21. From my understanding, he was channeling and acting like Jeff Dowd, a real-life person... still a great performance though.
  22. I've not seen Quinn play that confident and loose since that game. He came in smiling and had a completely different attitude like he absolutely knew he was going to win that game. He was animated before game, during the game... just seemed like a different person and his playing showed. I'd love to see that Quinn again in these upcoming games.
  23. We have a really good public relations department?
  24. It feels like Arch is more comfortable working with what the field gives him, he can throw to players who get open.. improvise, as has been said. But does hold on to the ball a bit too long. Quinn seems like he always throws to where the play was called. Even longer passes, he launches it to the player it was schemed to go to, which is why it seems like he often overthrows guys, vs., identifying a receiver that gets open and then tactfully throwing to them. He still hasn't mastered looking off safeties, he often only looks at who he's throwing to from jump. He's kind of robotic, which works when he is on but any disruption, he doesn't improvise well. I'm happy we are winning games, but I can't imagine we will be very successful when playing better teams who lock on to those tendencies (Playoffs). And I'm almost certain Elko and the aggies can disrupt on defense, enough to throw Quinn off unless things change dramatically within the next three games.
