  2. Along with Snowpocalypse I think he should pound him on wasting taxpayers money. HHS and DPS defunding etc. They will attempt to distract with hot button social β€œissues”. He should be calm and measured on these. He needs to look like a voice of reason and not an activist. Maybe that would sway some in the middle.
  3. Requirements to run for Congress should include the Wonderlic test. Candidates would have to score at least as high as the average teacher.

  6. I didn’t see anything sensational or inaccurate in the PBS article. They did not say β€œMass Shooting” in the headline. They gave sources for the statistics quoted and how they define school shootings and mass shootings.

  17. One of the very few soundtrack albums I own. Underrated movie too.

  22. Yeah, vintage Woodard stuff is getting hard to find at a decent price. You can usually find a good deal on vintage Salterini.
  23. We got lucky and found some vintage Russell Woodard Sculptura for $250.00. It was in great shape, but it’s a keeper so we had it freshly powder coated. Good for another 55 years. Buy some cheap cushions every year or so.

  25. You have to be creative to keep those pesky recapture payments low. β€œFrisco TIRZ No. 1 is so advantageous to Frisco ISD that the state of Texas actually changed the law after it was created to prevent other school districts from taking advantage of the same benefits. That’s because the TIRZ removes a portion of the District’s property wealth from the equalized state funding formula, which determines how much school districts receive from the state for day-to-day operations. Because the property value isn’t factored into that calculation, the revenue it generates is not subject to recapture by the state for distribution to property-poor districts across Texas, which is commonly referred to as Robin Hood. As a result, FISD has contributed less under recapture over the years.” Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
