  1. You’ve stately repeatedly that we won’t compete for the conference championship because of Kansas.
  2. No one is saying that they won’t be really good this season. They are the Big 12 title favorite heading into the season. They aren’t unstoppable though, especially if a key injury happens.
  3. Lol I’m OKC you could watch a full day of baseball for about $50. Now it’s more expensive than that to just go to one session.
  4. What’s the last day to withdraw from the draft?
  5. well my boy has been DFA. Hopefully he gets picked up somewhere.
  6. USC also just got a ton of momentum with Bronny James committing to them. That likely had a huge impact.
  7. Any news on when a new season will come out?
  8. Please take care of yourself and your mental health. That is far more important than anything else. Good luck and please come back when you are in a better place.
  9. This thread is a beating and should be nuked from existence. Mods need to clean up this shit. As the saying goes, when you run into one asshole then they are just an asshole but when everyone you run into is an asshole then you’re the asshole.
  10. What does Arkansas’ team look like right now?
  11. Sounds like Holland prefers to be the #1 option on an average team rather than the #3 option on a great team. Why would anyone be mad at RT for not giving in to that demand?
  12. Maybe a guy that Todd Wright recommended.
  13. S2 Nate goes into the restaurant and gets shunned by Jade. She refuses to sit him at the window seat. S3 Nate walks in and she still doesn’t know who he is. She likely does not follow sports. She doesn’t find out who he is until her boss gushes over Nate. Nate then brings a supermodel to the restaurant and gets utterly embarrassed. Jade watches this happen and she sits down with him. Then we get the montage of Nate always walking by the restaurant and waving at her. Next is the story from Nate’s mom about how his dad asked her out. Nate creates the elementary school project and goes to give it to Jade but ultimately falls flat on his face in front of her. He still manages to ask her out. That brings us to present day where they are currently dating. Present day, however, is at least weeks in the future as the beginning of this episode had Richmond winning multiple games in a row. Those don’t happen all in one week. So yes it is very realistic and plausible that after weeks of dating Jade has started to fall in love with Nate.
  14. The project players aren’t necessary but are very beneficial if you can develop them and keep them for all 4 years. You should always have a couple of those guys at the end of your bench if possible.
  15. Hunter and Lawrence is certainly the dream. That would give us a ton of versatility and a pretty damn good starting 5.
  16. Roster right now not including the guys who should never play is: G Abmas G Weaver F Anamekwe F Cunningham F Disu F Onyemi C Shedrick Definitely need another guard and preferably a guard/SF type as well. Hunter and Mitchell back would mostly complete our roster.
  17. A layup doesn’t get the player pussy like a dunk does
  18. If I was able to work on this full time for a year I could do this, doing it in my spare time around work and kids would be impossible. In a year working on this full time would mean that the first 3 months I would be working on my shooting form and getting into much better physical shape so that my body could handle the physical demand of putting up 1,000+ shots a days. Then it would mostly be just shoot until I made it happen. Corner three would be easier because of the distance. It would help that I played basketball when younger and I’m in my 30s instead of 50+.
  19. My wife got to run the Boston Marathon on Monday. It was incredible. Just a great atmosphere all around. She had no issues on the course and was able to qualify for the Chicago Marathon in 2024. I saw her at the 7 mile mark and then jumped on the train to head downtown. That train broke down and I got kicked off. Waited for another train both the next two that came by were too full and you couldn’t get on so had to start walking. Got to see her at the 21-22 mile mark. Was another line of train there that wasn’t as full so hopped on the train again to try to go past the finish line so that I could walk back and meet her. That train got 2 miles from the finish before it broke down and I got kicked off again. They shut the whole line of trains down at that point. So I had to walk a couple of miles to get past the finish line and see her.
  20. Just got back and have been swamped with work so haven’t had time to post. Fenway was awesome! Won all 3 games I was able to make it to. Got to eat at the Cask n Flagon, tour Fenway and sit in 3 different parts of the park. Unfortunately did not get to make it into the monster seats. Only issues with the trip came on Marathon day. Was riding the green line on the train to follow my wife on the course but had the train break down twice. The second time they shut the entire green line down. That fucked up my getting to the finish line and meant I couldn’t get to my wife until about an hour after she finished. She did qualify for the Chicago Marathon next year!
  21. I thought Morris would take a big step forward next year, especially if Hunter returned and he got to be the off the ball guard. Depending on who they get to replace him it could be a big loss.
  22. In all honesty, I think getting hit in the head really fucked up Brasier’s mindset on the mound.
  23. He had a lazy eye in high school and rarely pitched. When he did pitch he was looking at home plate and third base simultaneously. Since he barely pitched he was pretty wild, but throw in the 90s. You should have faced him then.
  24. I’m very excited about Anamekwe. I thought he looked good in the limited action he saw this year. He may not be ready to be a full contributor next year, though. I think if he is still around in 2 years he can be really good.
