  1. We also aren’t starting completely over from a coaching standpoint. Beard didn’t coach any truly meaningful games last season outside of maybe the Gonzaga game. RT was the coach last season, despite not being the architect of the team. That helps pretty significantly with the learning curve. I will also argue that the circumstances in which RT became the head coach and the interim tag hanging over his head all year were hindrances to the team reaching its full potential.
  2. We aren’t as old and experienced as last season but it’s not near the drop off that you would think it is.
  3. Normally I would agree but not anymore. Almost all teams are replacing a huge part of their roster every single year now. We aren’t alone in that and so it shouldn’t be to our detriment near as much as it would have 5 years ago. We also still return our PG, which is a big part of mitigating the roster turnover.
  4. If you’re going to post a pic of a woman to make amends at least make sure she is actually attractive.
  5. Daly likely would have been a backup next year had he stuck around. He’s not a good defensive SS and has not been able to hit the past two years. He wanted a guaranteed starting spot, can’t blame him, for his final year of college baseball. He’s an absolutely terrific teammate and person that I wish the best of luck to next year and in life.
  6. Looks like it. A good landing spot for him.
  7. The above are correct. I would still request statements from the company showing the policy activity just in case.
  8. Getting picked up by the Dodgers was the best possible landing spot for him.
  9. He didn’t necessarily need to go but in order to stick around he needed to be open to a much lesser role on the team. His starting spot needed to be a true open competition with hopefully some new transfer portal blood in it. Daly likely wasn’t willing to go into his senior year without a guaranteed starting spot and so he left, I don’t blame him.
  10. I highly doubt Texas and Oklahoma go to the SEC without a written guarantee that their game would continue each year just as it always has. A written guarantee, not a gentleman’s agreement that some seem to believe are binding contracts.
  11. Aflac sucks ass. It’s overpriced and they make you jump through hoops to pay out a claim. He’s fucked if he has them. (I work for their competitor.)
  12. People always underestimate Cunningham. No way he is the 9th or 10th guy on this team.
  13. Prays for the entire town. I’ve seen 3 deaths so far with 100+ in the hospital. Hopefully there are no more deaths from this.
  14. I don’t feel like they are sweeping it under the rug necessarily but more so treating it like a freak accident in which the driver couldn’t control what happened. I don’t understand not taking the driver into custody to check for sobriety or other potential impairments.
  15. Seems like he would be a great 4th guard who gets 10 minutes a game this year with a chance to become a main contributor next year.
  16. Wouldn’t they have his actual height from pre-draft measurements now?
  17. Quote: he is quite the celeb in C.Stn even though his time was in the 1920s really, all he did was stand up during a game when everyone was falling, and he didn't even get to play. while volunteering to play is a nice gesture, i think deifying him is overdoing things. his fame/adulation far exceed his achievements and deeds no offense. Nice troll job... I will respond any way. I wouldn't say he has be "deified" but he certainly started something that has transcended what the student body represents for generations. While you are correct he never got to play, he stood ready to go in just in case he was needed and that in my opinion was pretty damn cool and worthy of the accolades he has received over the years. Here was a guy who didn't play football, but was willing to get out there and fill a spot just to make sure his team had enough players to continue on. In my opinion that tells me that he was a great Aggie and willing to do whatever it took to support his team and I admire that. 20231569 Wasn’t Gill on the football team but then quite because he wasn’t going to actually play? Meaning he wasn’t just some random student but an actual football player who quite on his team until they talked him into suiting back up to maintain numbers.
  18. The argument for Brown staying can also be the same argument for him leaving if he gets drafted.
  19. Am I allowed to dream of a weekend rotation next year that has Gordon, Witt and Sykora?
  20. If you’re all good then by all means please continue to post the funny/stupid shit that your wife does.
  21. We maybe could but there are bigger needs this offseason. No need to chase a catcher when you need pitchers and outfielders.
  22. No he’s not, but if he intentionally takes it off and throws it he is out. Also the team running onto the field is an out as well.
  23. We have a catcher, he just had a bad series.
  24. He may be now because of the injury, who knows. But before the injury he was a preseason All American and a 1st round draft pick candidate. Do you need a needle and some thread to see up that gaping slit between your legs?
  25. Pierce put together the preseason #1 team in the country last year and then Witt getting injured really killed the season. This was understandably a rebuilding year but we won a share of the conference tournament and made it to the Supers. A healthy Witt likely has us as outright conference champs hosting both the regionals and supers in Austin. Anyone claiming that Pierce should be on the hot seat is a dumbass. Don’t underestimate the significant impact that Witt’s injury had on the last two seasons.
