  1. I try to be fair when I quote and ridicule a post from TexAgs. I make sure there's an Ag tag if the post is particularly embarrassing to them. I have my doubts about the gas post just because it's so well written.
  2. I repped the post thinking it was just a reference to population. I'd prefer more wide open spaces. Maybe not 4 electoral votes wide, but maybe 15.
  3. What would supporters of Gym Jordan or Donald Trump know about shame?
  4. To be reminded of what we're up against, here are the first several replies to the above? And, of course:
  5. Where was that respect during the extension process? At best, this is someone hoping to guilt Jimbo into forfeiting what he was promised by contract. At worst, it's pathetic fan fiction still imagining Jimbo as a guy who loves A&M and Aggies. If that were the case, you wouldn't have needed a $75MM 10-year [guaranteed!] contract to begin with. The Aggies held the dissonant prides in their heads back when they got him: he loves us/we have enough money to bring the most reluctant candidate to College Station.
  6. They're so unified politically over there that they don't even consider writing anything like "No CR!" There are increasing references to Biden, the MSM, and other right wing talking points as though no one could possibly disagree. It's the same way they're so confident in the virtue of their traditions, their sparkling honor, and the overall greatness that is A&M. They're the guys that talk politics loudly in a room assuming all must agree. They're the guys that yell "Whoop!" at a funeral. They are the personification of unjustified confidence.
  7. Sometimes there's just a subtle, sickening wobble of the knew with weight on it. I first noticed that with Fozzy at Missouri. On the other hand, it looked like he was hanging his feet from the cart which I wouldn't expect with a knee injury. I've had many sprains and some operations. His emotions suggested he thought it was over.
  8. Despite grumblings about him from a few on TexAgs, he is still considered the authority on everything. This last Luchador show is him regaining that authority. He's saying it sort of like it is. "Billy was all in on Jimbo. He's loyal to a fault. Now even Billy is doubtful." It's now safe for all TexAgs to be doubtful. "Thanks, Billy. You do a great job and we appreciate all the hard work!" They don't love being fooled as much as they love clinging to the absurdity that they will be proved right and righteous in the end. At last the world will see past the MSM, any radio show guy who is critical of them, and the BOMC to recognize the wonders that they've known all along. LIke the idiot I quoted above from Twitter, they expect their explanations actually explain anything other than their dedication to weirdness.
  9. As I recall, they did try some screen passes. The pressure was so great on one attempt that Johnson had to throw it to the RB who was either out of position or the pass was bad. Incomplete. I think they tried it a few other times and got some yards. "Inches and execution," says Jimbo.
  10. Typical Aggie explanation for their weird shit that they think is perfectly reasonable:
  11. 1. Unintended irony 2. Unsubstantiated claim 3. Nobody does. 4. Oxymoron.
  12. Watched it within the last two weeks, and I had to think pretty hard to remember anything about it. I think you're right about them not knowing exactly what kind of movie they wanted. Barely not bad.
  13. I don't know how the word "worse" enters into a discussion about somebody getting $75MM even if it's $50MM after taxes. Oh, and the receiver is already a multi-millionaire. I'd just be smiling all the time and saying, "This is great!"
  14. But it's no problem. This Aggie is proud of the way they can burn almost a $100MM. They'll always have plenty of money to hire coaches that would rather not go there and only do so if the payout is absurd.
  15. Of course, Jimbo came to A&M out of love for the school. That's why originally he only asked for a ten-year guaranteed contract worth $75,000,000.00. He was gig-em through and through.
  16. Such a display of intellectual prowess. "Hey, Billy, looks like you were wrong. Here's the quote." "Come over here! I'm gonna kick your ass."
  17. On that first try on fourth down when he couldn't make a decision fast enough is where I assumed Miller was an underclassman. Tennessee did a great job with the run. As I said above, it doesn't take long passes to keep that working. Miller wasn't hitting them and it was killing their drives. As the Vols approached the A&M goal line, it appeared to me that they adopted run plays with slow handoffs up the middle. Many of their best runs developed towards the edges with their very good RBs deciding where to cut. Heupel looks like he belongs on a second hand, dented metal fishing boat. You'd find hearing loud Keystone belches and slurred curses at the motor. He'd go well at A&M.
  18. Does he call the plays? He has a solid running game going, but, of course, you need to throw the ball to keep the defense spread out a little bit. But you don't have to throw a bomb every time! Stupid. I'd never seen the Tennessee QB play before. He needs some seasoning. Both teams looked like shit on offense. A&M's d-line is good, but they lost contain quite a bit. Poor Aggies.
  19. Some boys is going to get invited to the office for an ass kicking.
  20. They latch onto something favorable to them and they never let go even when it becomes unfavorable to them. They're unranked. Nobody expects them to finish ranked. They had a miserable losing season last year. But somebody says they have the 4th ranked team in terms of talent. If it were true, how do they explain their performance? They're proving that that ranking is meaningless, yet still they parade it around. The benefit for us is that they will use it to build themselves up every summer in the belief that it's their year.
