  1. The notion of getting rid of MAGA GOPs as though they are just the screaming idiots in Congress is hopelessly out of touch. There are screaming MAGAs who, like Trump, are yelling the quiet part out loud. There are non-screaming MAGAs who want to go back underground returning to the cynical, empty platitudes of law & order, fiscal conservatism, and worldwide respect. They'll still be getting the votes now identified as MAGA because their quiet platform remains bash the gays and terrifying transexuals, keep the negroes down, go full Aggy on identifying all the hateful things about the Dems (compassion, environmental concern about the people, pro-republic) as things nobody wants to be. Collect massive funding and bribes from actors hostile to the republic both native and foreign. In short, return to the shining days of shameless abuse, greed, and treason.
  2. Why bother recruiting receivers at all, then? Maybe the whole recruiting thing is stupid except for linemen who need to develop. Great retort!
  3. I know you wrote that her answer to the judge indicates no other agreements, but how formal does an agreement have to be for her to answer "yes?" Is it possible that she has reached an understanding of some sort with the fed prosecution, but it's not in the interest of the feds to have that revealed just yet? Is there a technicality in language that would allow that? I'm a layman, but it seems to me that if Powell would jump at the first chance to avoid felony conviction and jail in Georgia, she would also have a similar motivation to have the same plan at the federal level. Now that I write this, I wonder if this could be the reason she remains unindicted in the federal case. At the moment, there evidently couldn't be a plea deal in the fed case as she is unindicted. Perhaps, she is to become the key witness to meetings we know about and those we do not know about. As a former federal prosecutor, she surely knows how to play the game to keep her ass out of the slammer.
  4. Thanks. I found that enormously valuable for getting a better grasp of RICO, many of the players in this conspiracy, and what those miscreants were doing. Highly recommended.
  5. Bird in the hand and all of that. A first rate WR today is worth more than prospective WRs in the portal.
  6. Some might argue that criminal activity transcends conference affiliation.
  7. Here is your Texas A&M gift cake for notching a quality loss by exceeding expectations of how bad you would lose. How Marge prays.
  8. I'm not a football genius, but Tennessee's decision to augment their solid running game by throwing long, low percentage passes was idiotic enough that I could see it. I don't know if that's Heupel's general habit or not, but those failures were drive killers. I also felt A&M's defense was vulnerable on the edges. A lot of the Vol's successful runs broke to the outside. Their rush is excellent.
  9. Lying scumbag. And most of Baylor would take him back in a moment. Burn that fucking place down.
  10. The Alexa thing is an interesting observation. I don't think the conclusion holds up. For me, leaping to the notion that I feel like I'm talking to a woman when I ask Alexa for something is a reach. It's a cylinder that plays music and answers questions. I do refer to it as her because of the voice, but I truly doubt that even children think of it as a woman. I don't think the way one interacts with Alexa will have much to do with how one interacts with actual women. It's also not vulnerable to sexual harrassment or abuse. I think weeding that shit out of the actual workplace is far more concerning.
  11. "Defensive recruits have a lot to like right now." He can't even claim any defensive recruits are noticing. The sentence serves as a mild sales pitch to any recruit who may read the piece. Or maybe he means they know they can come in and start because the secondary is so shitty, some very good players are leaving for the NFL, and the portal will likely look like this (again):
  12. There's also the question about the recovery from his injury. If it's a fracture deep in the ankle as many here think or know, you don't know what you can do until it's pretty far along from the surgery. Their certainty that he's the main missing piece is insane. That injury was grisly. He's been watching Johnson bravely face the rush and pay dearly for it. But, 2024 was always the year for them. I recall Liucci writing back in 2018 that it would take six full years to get a system installed and his guys on the field. Oh, wait...it was 2020 that was the year! Their MVP was Covid that season.
  13. In my worthless paragraph, the disclaimer says that I am a sovereign citizen!
  14. To us. Well, not so much to me, anymore. All they need is some sort of talking point for their parrot constituency to seize as a rationale. When the parrots get it, there's no turning it back. They are humorless, irony-deaf fanatic cultists. They will surely state this as factual and reasonable evidence that the Dems are fucking everything up. An argument-proof plurality becomes less funny to me every day even if I see the absurdity in what they claim. True. It's not because of who they elect. It's because they elect who they are to office. Bingo! And their cult will hold together with just that. In Idiot World, idiocy is king.
  15. Taurean York's name comes up a lot in a favorable way. Is he actually good? I think maybe he didn't do so well against better competition, but I honestly don't know.
  16. I think he inhaled a lot of asbestos and bat shit dust when they demolished Kyle Field. Disfiguring. At least he had a great vantage point.
  17. English, motherfucker. Look up apparently. Apply to the context of what I wrote about it being an initial reaction. Then go jump up your own ass.
  18. I was going to go back to quote one of the posts saying that anyone who believed the attack was Israeli was duped by Hamas. That's too much work. It was a big explosion. Apparently a building had been devastated. There was a lot of that going around that was the result of Israeli military action. I and many others were not comparing sources; we were taking in news and drawing early conclusions that were certainly not unfounded.
  19. Read my post, and you'll see how I feel about Hamas, Mr. Kneejerk.
  20. Fair post, Beantown. I believed it was the Israelis. Now the evidence indicates otherwise. That doesn't change my position on Israel's attack on Gaza anymore than the question of beheaded babies changed my disposition towards the horrific Hamas attack on Israeli citizens. "Hey, we blockaded a huge civilian popuation, used high explosives to bombard them, and make no sign of concern about it, but we didn't blow up that hospital!" "Hey, we sprayed machine gun fire at civilians, executed families in their homes, raped everything in sight, and took captives, but we didn't chop the heads off any babies!" I deplore Biden's visit to that bloodthirsty government in Israel. I despise that we clearly don't see the life of a Palestinian civilian as valauble as an Israeli's. I'm embarrassed that everyone so easily falls into the tired narative that Israel is always on the verge of being destroyed. I want nothing to do with any of these parties other than whatever humanitarian things we can do. I don't see the Israelis as bad people nor do I see that in the Palestinians. Likud and Hamas are awful entities harming their own people and those peoples near them. I again wonder if Israel holds some of our horrible secrets such as dirty work Mossad may have done for us. Israel is not a state in the union.
  21. The power of an A&M education: 1 All those guys go to A&M because tradition and shit. 2 What? Lend itself to be a winning program? (see note 6) 3 What? Kids from OSU et al. provide recognition for their stars? 4 Words of wisdom, Lloyd. Words of wisdom. 5 College man. 6 He actually re-read this and edited it. Let that sink in. TARP: Huge fucking lie followed by absurd notion that they won some kind of victory after getting steamrolled by their SEC "brothers" into swallowing their objection to Texas coming at all and joining the unanimous vote. Beating Texas becomes their everything again. Move over little dog cuz the big dog's movin' in.
