Actually, most of the things I named are confirmed by a closer study of history through eyes other than our own white, self-congratulatory, male eyes.
I was as resistant as you to believing these things. My will to follow the lies was not so strong as to provide the blindness required to ignore history.

I suggest reading an Indigenous People's History of the US as a starting point. It refers to things beyond this continent.
Maybe look into the Belgian Congo.
Take a gander at the Indian Schools we had running through the 1960s.
Show me the history of other places where such practices as erasing cultures was common.
We're not the only ones who can brutal. Is that your defense? It's a culture not an isolated event.
I won't bother with this anymore unless you do something other than baldly assert. Again, congrats on your heroic actions that allow you to, without substantiation, assume others have not done as much.
