  1. 1 They suck at music. 2 Texas band doesn't suck at music. Or power. 3 ESPN doesn't consult host schools about sound. 4 Adorable. 5 Sour grapes losers. See above, losers.
  2. Texas toxicity and control of the refs. Or, loser excuses for losing. Those are just the first few. I had to check at halftime to see if another "all you young ags" was posted to enumerate our evils. Losers.
  3. It's more than those things, and you know it.
  4. The flag planting is needless, provocative gloating.
  5. Dreamy Brauny has the lastest low-down on the new Aggie QB I don't mean to be a dick, but I am one. He's gone from mildly coherent to inflated in his style. The Aggies have added Cocoa Fl QB Brady Hart to their 2025 recruiting class. The Elk and his boys scoured the country looking under every stone, barking up trees, working the phones, calling in favors, and reading 247. Hey, Mike! Looky here, this really good QB from the '26 class, top guy, has become a non-national 250 player for 2025! Toss me one of them donuts! Here ya' go, Colin. Strawberry fill. I saved you one. Great work scouring! Lemme see the profile. We need a guy who can play right away, this guy looks perfect. He's already 16! He drives and everything. Let's revisit that paragraph and the one that follows. 1 "Following the decommitment of Husan." Anybody know if he had any plans on what to do after he decommitted? Go to ITT Tech or maybe start up his own food truck? What's that? He's going to Michigan who desperately needs a QB? Wonder why Brauny left that out. 2 Hart must be really good if he was a long time Michigan commit. I guess we got the better of those Wolverines in this deal. Benefit of being a real program!
  6. This will be cheered by the MAGA voters. This will be slept through by ambulatory dullards who form the swing vote. Non-voters will join in the nap. Pro-republic anti-MAGAS will raise obvious arguments in clear language to absolutely no effect. When this happens, this investigation and the bogus report is issued, we'll be a fascist country for real. MAGAs will crawl out of the rotting anus of the moribund USA and spike the ball in celebration.
  7. A couple of questions about signing day and "signing" itself. As I recall, the letter of intent is no more. Enrolling or...setting up financing?...is the new instrument of obligation such as it is. Am I correct? Is early signing period still just a window or the opening of unending signing season for this class? What will happen on signing day in place of the letter of intent? Thanks for indulging my ignorance.
  8. I heard this about 20 years ago. The rich elite wanted a big "die off." I dismissed it at the time, but the resistance to taking action against Covid and the insistance that global climate disaster is a hoax sure fits the model. There are too many people in the world. An infestation. I wish there were some way to counteract the DNA demand that marrying and having children are the greatest things a person can do. DNA is undefeated.
  9. That Pilgrim cartoon is worn out. The one below it is the kind of hard truth that we mustn't expose the children to or they'll feel sad. But, who knows? Maybe constantly lying to ourselves keeps this place rolling along as the shining city on a hill.
  10. Oh man, I hope they circulate this everywhere. Aggie: "Let's all be chickenshits and get rid of ebil Texas." SEC: "Speak for yourself, chickenshit." I think this used to be a satire of negative ags. I guess the dumbasses forgot.
  11. No shit. Outstanding effort.
  12. 1. They use this word so much. Underachieving. I'm not sure how their bar could be much different than 8-4. They are consistently achieving at the expected level which is mediocre with occasional flashes and occasional slumps. 2. It's a shame that writing winning cures all doesn't cure all because they write that all the time as though it's a fresh notion. 3. Put it on the wall. 2024: National Champions (Five wins from same.) And, golldarnit, people like us. Does any other school's fans talk about themselves like this? Replace "dear leader" with "our fan base" and A&M is the North Korea of college football. As I think about it, they are about the same status-wise in the world of football as N. Korea is in the real world: noisy and mildly threatening to a few lesser powers, yet a mere annoyance to the major powers. This is the essence of redass versus 2%er: The influx of 2%ers is their only hope, but it's a dim one. Anonymous: Not sure this Aggie has grasped the full concept of "last chance." Love this guy. Bright, shiny days! How far removed? You're so close!
  13. What makes Kyle and the Aggies stand out is the regimentation. In addition to the precisely executed and rehearsed cheers from the '30s, they look uniform in crowd shots. They look angry, and their shouting seems directed at some wayward dog that shit in their collective yard. Wrap all that up in drab maroon, and you've got a very loud but seemingly joyless band of fanatics. As I wrote somewhere else, where other enthusiastic college crowds look festive, diverse in expression, and like they're having that especially intense fanhood fun, the Aggies look like they're following orders. The whole grim crew becomes jihadic when ebil, toxic tu comes to town to scatter their herds and eat their children. And eat their children we shall. Not grimly, but with joy and festivity.
  14. Kicking my ass would be right up there, too. Right above holding your first child and right below the first time you got laid. I'd be honored.
  15. Yes! There is the weird assumption that we are coming into the game on equal footing regarding our seasons to date. Our "stuggles" with teams where there were a few moments in a game where it seemed like the other team had a chance equal their three losses. In their eyes, neither of us are what our records say we are. They lost three on their easy schedule, we lost one. Our only loss and one of theirs were to top ten opponents. Ours was by two scores; theirs was by one. We avoided upsets. They succumbed. Once, they got slaughtered. Sure. Pretty equal. They're ranked #25 likely because they play us this week and voters like to set up top 25 match-ups. Otherwise, they'd be among those receiving votes where they'd belong. Anything can happen, but I don't see the rankings being wrong regarding our teams. They're not going to like what happens. I suspect Texas will be exhilarated in the dread night of an SEC contest.
  16. Not according to a great Longhorn Network documentary about the 1963 season. Exactly. According to the documentary, they spray painted it green to hide the fact that is was a mud pit. You can see the stains on the jerseys of the players. t.u. got most of those points in garbage time.
  17. Really good. I think Georgia and Smart (I didn't realize what a whiny dickhead that guy is) celebrating like they'd won the Super Bowl was telling. Georgia has been beating good teams for years. This one was special to them. The whole "nobody thought we could do it" take was surprising to me. I thought you was Georgia, kings of the SEC. I do want to play them again.
  18. Been awhile. Olin, amigo, sometimes you start with an opening sentence you should abandon upon further examination. You're one out of three here. Those four schools don't exactly suggest huge football rivalry. Olin, you buried the lede! Huge rivalry? The Bowling Green Seniors against the Toledo Rockets? There's your pinnacle of football rivalry! Only proximity prevents Bowling Green vs A&M being almost equal to that. Back to the always helpful insights of Coach Mike "this is a real program" Elko. Somehow A&M - Texas rises above Bowling Green - Toledo. Especially when you put the football side of it in. Elko does realize that's why we all go to the stadium for this contest, doesn't he? I gotta find somebody better to quote. No shit. More: First, it's a mysterious sentence on its face. Although he doesn't say it, The Elk likely means that the game still means a lot to the Aggies. One wonders how he senses this. Yea, but you guys-- Yep. We sing goodby to A&M. Exactly the same thing, Ol. Wait a minute what about the last sentence from above? Which is it, Mr. Elko? Were you lying then or are you lying now? Those guys are on steroids, Taurean. You should look into it. Tell us more. Competent recruiting can be tragic, Taurean. I'm sure you will make the Longhorns pay heavy and forget the name Anthony Hill. He must have been pure football scholarship. He neither looks nor sounds like a highly educated man. I don't think he's any smarter than Olin. Thanks, man. You got it, bro.
