  1. Some of us have been so far off using logic that it was time to Costanza the last one..Summer of George!
  2. One of my grad school buddies sent me this after sitting through the weather at the game today. Glad it was him and not me.
  3. https://www.mlb.com/all-mlb/ballot?affiliateId=allmlb-headline-mlb-2022
  4. Based on all of the “unsourced” hatchet job stories that have popped up, the lack of trust seems warranted IMO.
  5. Offense bounces back this week….so of course defense will shit the bed. 41-40 Kansas 231 yards worth of punts for Texas on 6 punts.
  6. And then still had a rough sophomore year after that offensive line graduated…with a JR Jamaal Charles in the backfield.
  7. Are you sure? Because I feel like we only kicked off to start the half once last night.
  8. At least we’ve been able to show that we can overcome our second half offensive woes. First time we’ve score more in the second half than the first all season, right?
  9. Don’t disagree on the Latin American contingent, but Click didn’t do anything to drive that. Everything Oz put in place that we’re reaping was in place prior to Click arriving.
  10. Indeed. Neris was nails. Even including him, it’s clear Click didn’t build that staff as was suggested. Again, not hating on Click, but acknowledging he inherited a gold mine.
  11. To be clear, Click only added five arms to that incredible pitching staff - Stanek, Montero, Maton, Baez, and Smith. Montero was the only piece that had a substantial role in the postseason. You can also give him partial credit if you want for resigning Verlander, but that has Crane’s fingerprints all over it. Not attacking the guy, but let’s assign the credit where it’s actually due…and just bring back Luhnow (know it’ll never happen).
  12. Yo Stephanie, Crane has won without Click and Dusty. They haven’t won without him. I like Dusty (yes, I disagree with a lot of the lineups in the regular season), but to credit Click with all of the Astros success over the last three seasons is disingenuous at best. Put the fucking axe down and grab some perspective. George Steinbrenner was a pain to work for because he expected to fucking win. As a fan, you can’t ask for more than that. Being difficult to work for might make him a bad boss, but fuck you if you think he’s a bad owner.
