  1. I've missed the last page or so since I've been busy eating at Chili's three times a day (it's our only option) and driving in 6 hours of traffic to get to city folk and culture. The peace and quiet is nice out here, but I sure wish we had internet and paved roads outside the inner loop. Guess I should have lived downtown where I can overlook being mugged in my driveway in order to afford a 3 story 2000 sqft home with no yard, no amenities and shitty public schools.
  2. If you’re going there to drink you’re doing it wrong. It’s the trim walking around there that make it worth it.
  3. Brought to you by the same folks who determined Texas A&M is the iPhone.
  4. Turns out beating unarmed protestors in the streets and then imprisoning them for 20-30 years with limited power, internet, medicine, food is incredibly effective for maintaining power.
  5. Shoot the Moon in Spring Branch I believe has this in Houston.
  6. Probably something along the lines of: “Sorry, I can’t come to the phone right now, I’m on a safari. Please leave a message and I’ll call you back at soon as possible. Whoop!”
  7. Yea the wins over the canceled nonconference opponents the likes of Abilene Christian, Fresno State, Colorado and North Texas really would change my mind.
  8. Hey fuck you man. (Less the debt part)
  9. I think by the time this was leaked and the Houston chronicle article, their only move that wouldnt have been embarrassing would have been to welcome the addition and throw some slight jabs at “following” A&M. Instead they bitch, moan, fight it, and then make a spectacle of their insecurity and still end up taking it bent over. It’s so perfectly aggy.
  10. If anyone knows Daniel Figurelli, can you please send him the suicide hotline number and tell him we’re worried about him?
  11. Double it? Wonder if this will happen quick enough for us to be in the SEC for the next NCAA FB game in a year or two.
  12. On one hand we may get to tell Galindo to go fuck himself. On the other I may have to start watching SEC network? I refuse to start chanting SEC, reading SECrant, or riding Bama’s dick.
  13. And it would likely include something to do with third tier rights/longhorn network.
  14. one of the cross streets off of Taylor right north of I-10. Don't remember which one it is.
  15. LOL. "There's no such thing as stripper refunds." "How do I get my booty and boobs back"
  16. Just pointing out this is your experience (and maybe many others), but not everyone's. Have a friend and he and his family live in the woodland heights area and have for close to a decade. Several years ago - drug deal gone bad (or so we were told) led to some sort of drive by shooting on his street and he ended up with a couple bullets in his house. Luckily no one got hit. When I lived in Midtown maybe 8 years back you just accepted your cars were getting broken into so you were better off leaving them unlocked with nothing inside so the windows didn't get broken. I still think the danger of living inner city is overblown these days though for the most part, but I have zero concern about something like that in my neighborhood. And for the record - you can live in very expensive parts of Austin and still have these same issues. Only in Austin - after they steal your shit, they get put up in a homeless camp with hot showers, meals and security of their own.
  17. What do you consider a regular basis? I don't think men do this typically either.
  18. Yea well didn’t half Germany fall into a sinkhole and float away last week? Not so diverse now is it?
  19. Especially when you compare it to their depth chart which consists of an Italian sandwich that can’t hit the broadside of a barn 3 years in, a generous 200 lb kid that looks like he has lupus/butthole eyes, and a true freshman.
  20. For the record if you published a nice hard cover book with pictures of bbq, snakes, and @Elvis wife I’d happily purchase a copy for my coffee table.
  21. I live on the NW side and maybe some of this is still pandemic WFHish, but what could have been an hour long commute 5 years ago, is now about 30 minutes since 290 has been completed. And then if you figure most professionals will likely be moving towards a semi remote work place, it just isn’t that big of a deal. 23. Pics of wife? Interested in a proposal of the indecent variety? J/k; sort of. Hell I always just assumed you got paid to take pics of bbq and snakes. Figure out how to get paid on that.
