Just another marker.
Elevated prices for feed, freight and packaging also mean Tyson is getting squeezed by inflation, which it estimated at 14% in the quarter. Some of that will be offset by price gains expected next month.
“Costs are hitting us faster than we can get pricing at this point,” King said.

They were talking about his coverage grade his freshman year on the radio yesterday and said it was better then Brandon Jones had in his best year.
If that’s the case why move him to receiver? We needed another spare at that position?

I have meet the teacher Tuesday evening. It will go a long way to inform our decision on what the next move is for my oldest. I cannot fathom doing 1st grade virtually after doing all of kindergarten from home for 2020-2021, but here we are. Mostly I’m just worried about her missing out, and then also worried about the risk shall she go in person as has been our plan.
fuck this timeline.
Unless your first grader has some comorbidities, then it’s highly unlikely that they’ll get very sick even if they contract it.

he and his rookie partner smoked the field in the final last season. they finished in first in 7/7 check points.
Wow and he’s old af. It would be funny to see a top money winner list for the challenges all time. I’m guessing Johnny Bananas #1

uh, he gets paid to travel the world, to compete in badass events, to party, meet new people, and oh yeah, win hundreds of thousands of dollars.
I haven’t seen the last few seasons. He’s still winning?

So what’s the angle for CT? Does he just go on this show to maintain his social media following to make money? He has to be older than me and I’m 41.

ECMO is basically an artificial heart and lungs. It's what they use to keep patients alive during heart surgery.
You’re thinking of cardiopulmonary bypass. They’re both methods of oxygenating blood outside the body, but with some heart surgery the heart is stopped and the blood is temporarily diverted to a perfusion pump to for oxygenation. When the bypass or valve repair is complete the heart is restarted and then they come off the pump.
ECMO isn’t commonly used in the OR. It’s most often seen in ICUs where it’s used to essentially help “rest” the heart and lungs. Typically after a heart transplant or maybe a lung injury.

I couldn’t find a non CR thread to place this, but I just found it. It’s a sizable amount though. Not familiar with all the machinations of the IMF. Is this straight up money printing to build up sovereign reserves or are they from some stockpile of currency that has built up? @bernorange is the SDR expert.

On the bright side, we’ll have multiple lunchpail guys, so the team doesn’t have to carry their own. In reality I don’t think schooler is the liability you make him out to beMaybe he’s a combination of John Lynch and Cliff Harris.

How the Texas depth chart is shaking out early in the preseason

When I get too hopped on Kool-Aid it’s good for me to remember that Luke Brockermeyer and Brendan Schooler are running with the 1s on defense.
What’s better than one coach on the field? Two coaches on the field.

Quick question for those of y’all that have home tests. Are there instructions for who to notify in the event you’re positive? I kind of wonder how many positives we’re actually missing from the tally.

Looks like they agreed on the crypto legislation. Validators exempted from KYC rules. I’m not clear on whether this law will force online retailers to use KYC if they accept payment in crypto. Wouldn’t that be kind of a big deal?

Projection pick - but I think he's going to have the testing numbers to be a first round pick assuming he builds on what he did on the field last year (where by his own admission he didn't really know what he was doing).
Why do you think he’ll have 1st round testing numbers? I can’t see anything from high school camps or track numbers.

Crossposting this one. Some of y’all may still own Silvergate. I know a few bought it during the last run. Here’s a good thread breaking down possible impact of FB and Diem stablecoin partnership.
From what I’ve seen they plan on launching it by EOY

This is a good thread on a longer term hold I have that’s crypto based. Partnering with FB on their Diem cryptocurrency. Worth a look.

What’s up with gold? It’s gone nowhere with inflation elevated and Bitcoin and crypto pumping.

With the Olympics ending we have a lot of catching up to do. Without looking at the thread is this season worth catching up on?
