  1. The third down conversion pass to bijan I never even saw him throw it. I had to rewind to see the pass happen. Love his release. Same here. I actually thought was batted down at the line because it seems like it never traveled through the air.
  2. Seems like it got a lot more popular after Gladwell’s book Outliers was written. It was all over the news at the time. The book addresses the evidence that kids who are older for their grade perform better at sports and academics That advantage follows them all the way through their development, even to the extent that most pro athletes (in hockey, I think) fell into that category.
  3. Free degree with each bag of Funyuns.
  4. Yeah. Sorry. Quoted wrong post. Someone just posted UW vs WSU stats recently and PK really shut Leach down to the tune of WSU only averaging in the teens when they played against PK's defense.
  5. Why? PK was pretty successful shutting down Leach.
  6. There’s nothing they can do about it so they might as well sit back and enjoy it.
  7. Maybe they’ll stop calling other SEC schools their “brethren.” “Rue the day? Who talks like that?”
  8. Campus police parking tickets. As toothless and impotent as their rage.
  9. Sure. I understand that. But three potential is there for UH, especially with rich motivated alum. Maybe I’m being naive, but having a big alumni base means you only need a few years and/or flashy stars and those alumni will convert from or add to their fandom. Now with NIL, Fertitta can go big on a few star players to try to drum up excitement.
  10. Seems like everyone is talking about picking over the carcass of the Big 12. If the PAC wants to expand into the TX market, then they're not going to take Baylor and might not take TCU, if not because of their loose religious affiliation, just because they're too small to be useful. UH is the next best TX market school to take. They're large, they're in a major metro and they were sort of on the verge of continued relevance when we stole MENSA from them. Without UT blocking their entry into our conference, they stand to be one of the more attractive expansion candidates it seems.
  11. UH might be a winner out of this whole thing.
  12. Spread it far and wide. It makes a great gift for family!
  13. That title didn’t age well. A million dollar listing in LA is now a 1/1 condo that needs kitchen and bath renovations.
  14. A friend of mine cooked for his family out at his ranch a good bit. He said Leblanc is totally down to earth and normal. He wrenches in his dirt bikes and fixes shit around the house.
  15. I guess marquee letters are all the rage on recruiting visits now. We need to set up one of those virtual Unreal Engine greenscreen sets like for the Mandalorian for our photo ops now. I'm only half-joking.
  16. I have to respect her though because she was in a short-lived NBC sitcom set in LA called “It’s like, you know”. She played herself and the running gag was that nobody recognized her since she got her nose job and she couldn’t find work as an actress anymore.
  17. No kidding. I could literally rebuild that old LED set with individually addressable color-changing bulbs for less than $1000.
  18. Kent, this is God. Stop touching yourself.
  19. I think they did it well in the original Superman movies when he battled Zod. Unlike the current one, Superman is "weaker" than Zod because he is trying to save the humans who would be collatoral damage from their fight. It did set up a tension that had real consequences.
  20. My dad was pretty far gone for a while. They had some glitch in their cable service so he started watching only news he could find in YouTube. I don’t know if it was because his iPad is a hand me down from me or some other weird event but the algorithm took him down an Anti-Trump path. My brother says he saw him watching multiple Daily Show clips mocking Trump and laughing along with them. Maybe there social media algorithms worked in my favor this time. Pretty scary shit. My dad isn’t some uneducated rube either. He had a PhD in Physics.
