  1. Fumbling can be fixed. I just haven’t seen enough “wow plays” out of the current stable of RBs. Players can improve, but usually you can see it early if a RB will be special. See more solid guys, than special
  2. you are special kind of cunt here is my post above:
  3. I remember that. Killer hit.
  4. This is dumb. 1st calling Sam a loser, put you straight in douchebag territory. The OU stuff makes me laugh. Sam went 1-3 vs OU. Those were 3 12 win teams (9-2 in the covid year). Lost a game when he put up 45 pts. In those 4 years OU lost a combined 8 games. Quinn is 2-1 vs OU. Those 2 wins came against OU teams that had losing records.
  5. Sam had the drunk evading the cops moves. It used to make me laugh, but he was effective. He was a killer in short yardage.
  6. this is nuts. You going after Sam's rushing average, while Quinn finished with -59 yards for his career? my bad I added up completion and not attempts. Read the wrong column Still 30 turnovers in 2030 touches vs 31 in 1275
  7. had multiple turnovers vs A&M with the OL dominating. He was just more mistake prone this year
  8. Quinn was pretty sold in that department until this year. 2022- 320 touches 7 turnovers. 1 per 45.7 touches 2023- 453 touches 7 turnovers. 1 per 64.7 2024- 502 touches 17 turnovers. 1 per 29.5 not doing the work, but guessing Quinn went from one of the best at taking care of the ball in 2023 to one of the worst in 2024
  9. Sam had 30 turnovers (27 ints, 3 fumbles) in 2030 touches (1476 attempts and 554 rushing attempts) Quinn had 31 turnovers (24int, 7 fumbles) in 877 touches (737 pass att and 140 rushing att)
  10. Run game is a question.. Does Sark/Flood return to more IZ. Do the RBs allow for that? Goosby showed well in pass pro, but he had his issues in the run game. More traditional LT. I say that as a compliment to Banks’ overall game. TE blocking has been mediocre to sketchy the last few years. Would be nice to have a reliable blocker there in 2025, that would really help the run game. The deep ball will return and I am sure Sark is drooling over that. That should also help the run game WR room has talent, but an experienced #1 would add some confidence. It would be nice to give Arch someone that is proven. I have full confidence in Wingo getting there, just not sure it will be by the opener. Mack has been working at NB. Love to him force the coaches to find ways to get him in games. The CB spot opposite of Muhammad is TBD. Kobe is the odds on favorite, but will another young buck emerge I agree on everything you said about Vasek, but he has to find away to stay healthy. As the old saying goes “the best ability is availability”.
  11. They did hold OSU to 21. That is a pretty good outcome. The offense scored 20 or less in 5 of the last 7 games in regulation. There is the 11 turnovers in the last 6 games also. They did not get a lot of help.
  12. Hopefully, Texas upgrades on that area. I know it’s odd to expect less turnovers from a 1st year starter than a 3rd year starter, but Ewers was a turnover machine this year with 17
  13. It’s a great opener for this team. They are extremely young and this will be a game that will exploit weaknesses and cement strengths. This isn’t a game where you lose and the playoffs are unlikely.. Going to be fun to see how different the offense is for this one. The deep ball will be back. OL is going to benefit from a QB that can hold the backside DE from crashing on runs. Wonder if Texas runs more RPO with Arch. Thought I saw RPO was a touch under 20% of the passing game this year. Texas was heavy play action team.
  14. Gerry brought up Nate Kibble as a name to watch. Coaches are apparently very high on him. He also went in during the OSU game on GL, so that confirms Gerry's thought.
  15. I have no insight on this other than standard 6-12 months for this kind of injury. Every individual heals differently.
  16. https://www.si.com/college/texas/news/texas-rb-cj-baxter-undergoes-successful-knee-surgery-01j60dh7t47tNow, according to reports from Anwar Richardson of OrangeBloods.com, Baxter underwent successful surgery to repair his LCL and ACL on Tuesday. Baxter was also originally thought to have torn his PCL, but per the report, that ligament remained intact and did not require surgery. The Surgery was performed by Dr. Daniel Cooper in Dallas. Should be good for fall camp.
  17. thanks for going next level stupid. They fit in any scheme, not any position. Dont tell Ian Boyd, but the more talent you have the less scheme matters
  18. My point was 5 stars dont need to be a scheme fit. They fit pretty much any scheme.
  19. Just my opinion, but I think Cam has a ceiling on where he can go. He appears to be RT in NFL with a chance he bumps inside. I dont see him as a franchise LT that can be left on an island to deal with some of the best athletes in the NFL. I think that caps him to the mid-1st round. I hope I am wrong, but I dont see the feet and movement skills
  20. 2025 Consensus Big Board | NFL Mock Draft Database has him consensus #30 right now
  21. I would love for him to come back, but hard to say a guy projected as late 1st round/early 2nd should stay. Injury risk of coming back outweighs the potential to move up significantly .
  22. He also got the best players in the country. Texas is now recruiting at a level that the coaches generally do not need to worry about fit, not to mention the roster is basically all Sark players now. Guys like Colin Simmons and Ant hill can play in any defensive scheme. Texas has left the desert of CFB and reached the semis 2 season in a row for a reason. It is the talent being gathered on the 40. Texas had 11 drafted last year. That number may be eclipsed this year.
  23. I think people forget what Sam did 43 starts: 923-1476, 11,436 yards, 94 Tds and 27 int. rushed 554 att, 1903 yds, 33 Tds, with 3 fumbles. That is a 127 TDs and 30 turnovers. That is 1 turnover per 67.7 touches vs a TD every 16 touches. Averaged 266 yards/game, which is more than Colt and Ewers. Averaged 3 TDs a game over his career. Managed to do all that and never missed a start his last 3 years, despite being Herman's short yardage sledge hammer
  24. People see that athleticism and deep ball. Someone usually falls in love with that and thinks they can clean up their decision making. I hope the same thing happens for Quinn. Some team sees his workout and falls in love with the raw tools and thinks they clean up his issues.
  25. You probably have to take Ward. I would certainly would not take Milroe or Ewers until the 3rd or later. Not going to go through every player, but they both were turnover machines this year with 17 a piece and probably near the top nationally (Quinn turnover/29.5 touches and Milroe turnover/28.6 touches). That doesnt bode well for the NFL.
