  1. Our search turned out to be a blessing in disguise, so far at least. There were definitely names thought to be above Pierce's that I didn't really want at the time, and now a year later, definitely would not want over Pierce.
  2. I think it's mainly just that TFB has been sweeping the floor with them and I'm sure they don't like that TFB is the one who produces a lot of the commitment videos.
  3. Yeah, ticket prices dropped like crazy about 24 hours before the regional games started. I'm sure the same will happen for the Supers, especially since I doubt Tenn. Tech has a huge traveling fanbase.
  4. This was honeslty a good thing for Philly. Colangelo wasn't a good GM, and they need someone better if they want to win titles. Fixed for future accuracy's sake.
  5. Lulz. That is not a Top 2 recruiting class OL group. I'm honestly surprised Jimbo is willing to sign off on the Marine settling so much between the 2020 OL commits and the possibility of grabbing a guy like Trainor this early in the cycle. Also, good to see Hamm conceding Shepherd. Whenever Hamm gives up on a prospect, you know aggy's in a bad spot for him.
  6. I'm pretty sure 247's ranking for years when they didn't exist are just a copy of the Rivals' rankings. Not sure what year that quit being the case but it was definitely the case for 2000 and 2001.
  7. Regardless of the weak generalization and ad hominem attack of intellectual dishonesty, it really doesn't matter what posters on here are saying about Bamba's performance, Bamba was elite. The data backs this up. Bamba's advanced stats were a shade below First Team All-Americans Ayton and Bagley. He had that much of an impact on the team. I'm not sure I'd say there was much lack of mental toughness. The team seemed to respond pretty well to the loss of Jones and the other adversity. At the end of the day, they were being asked to run a horrible offense that doesn't suit them and they lost their best offensive player. I think the struggles were going to happen regardless of mental toughness.
  8. That is an interesting piece of information considering that Taurean doesn't have an offer from aggy.
  9. He’s starting with a conclusion and working his way back from there. He wants to believe we’ll be better next year. The only way to do that is to denigrate the contributions of players who left. That combined with the fact that Mo was our best player last year, mean he’s target #1 for Camel’s dillusions.
  10. Based on yesterday’s events, I bet he even has a sock on the surl. Hi Bomani!
  11. You seem to take a lot of things very literally. I don't think lack of access to hot girls is an issue recruits face when they visit UT.
  12. Pretty sure they just call that Fish Camp.
  13. Between choosing UT and everything Ehlinger accomplished at Westlake, I'm not sure there's a boat on Lake Austin that he doesn't have access to.
  14. So much this. And on a related note, who does Katfid have to blow around here to make it easier to fatwa people? Getting someone to -100 is a long, obnoxious process.
  15. Thankfully we play them in November. They'll be the most interesting squad in the Big 12 next year. As long as Grier stays healthy, they'll put up a ton of points and if their defense stays healthy, it could be just barely be not bad enough to cause them to lose games in the Big 12. However, the odds of them all staying healthy are low and if they suffer even a couple bad injuries on defense, they'll become a total sieve. They may have the largest range of realistic outcomes of any team in the conference.
  16. Thats known as recruiting under. At this rate, if they want a top 10 class, 35. If they want top 2, 80. Are the Pensacola guys those 3 Stars who didn’t have offers from UF, FSU, or Miami that they posted about a little while back?
  17. Punching women in the face or throwing them down a flight of stairs also doesn’t result in ineligibility.
  18. Impressive that they can beat out Kansas for Robinson. Has anyone informed the Marine that he’s not the foreman at a Sara Lee factory? He’s grabbing bread like he has a quota to meet.
  19. Where's Coach Vaughn when you need him? I assume he has the ability to lower ACT scores as well as raise them.
  20. I see you're on top of your sock game. You can never be too careful these days.
  21. Grant Brisbee, probably my favorite baseball writer, with some hilarious draft grades for the first round: https://www.sbnation.com/mlb/2018/6/5/17411486/mlb-draft-2018-grades
  22. Twice as well as most posters, but only about half as well as CTJ.
