  1. We enjoyed it , and looks like shits gonna get real. Corbin benson is gonna go down. it’s updated Fun With Dick and Jane .
  2. Agree about surgeons protecting hands, but if you’re even a casual viewer why the fuck would you go on Survivor and risk hands and health? Be on Big Brother.
  3. All of the wives are either in on the shit or at least knowledgeable vs “Kay, do t ask me about my business!”
  4. Also what a holy shit moment in the park with Abbott to close the thing out.
  5. Sai and Ced offered nothing. Neither trustworthy, both shitty at all aspects of challenges, both idiots at the game. Waste of two slots.
  6. My question for Catholics and Lent, since we Baptists know nothing about it. My boss is Greek Orthodox and asked him same question, one that he hadn’t questioned in 65 years. Why can’t you just eat a slab of meat or a chicken fried steak and just go to confession and get your sin forgiven by the priest?
  7. I haven’t been but thanks for reminding me of it. Haven’t been since before Covid. When I worked In downtown it was a regular spot for out of town clients. “Have the calf fries!” I was fortunate to return to DFW at the ascendancy of Texas/Southwest cuisine in 86. It was a special time as it transformed fine dining which at that time was focused on the French Room, Saint-Emelion, and whatever was spinning around the Reunion ball. You youngsters don’t realize what eating out was really like until the 80’s. The takes were so different with Dean Fearing at the Mansion (that fucking lobster taco), Stephan Pyles at Routh Street and Baby Routh, the Rathbun places, Michaels in Ft Worth. When Grady Spears opened Reata on top of that bank it was so good. Those tenderloin tamales, his chile relleno, and CFS was all so good. As he left and went down his path of insanity Reata at Sundance Square had ups and downs. Gotta give it a shot.
  8. Good decompression and closure for S2. I was hoping measles mom would get mistakenly locked in the psych ward, or beaten by the guy that slugged Dana. hate that it’s over. I’ll rewatch in a month or two on a binge .
  9. Im fine with it not being an ER sequel. Avoids the temptation of stunt casting “ is that eriq la salle?”
  10. https://www.dmagazine.com/guides/the-best-bbq-joints-in-north-texas/ a solid list. I thought 225 and 407 would make it. Glad to see Zavalas get love. No pecan lodge. How the mighty have fallen , and glad to see them point out the inconsistency of heim.
  11. Glad to see Carlos Douchebag gone. And that Sara Bradley won.
  12. With that kind of greed from Belinda and her fuckhead “businessman” son, it would have been way cheaper than $100k to disappear both of them. Zion and Belinda fed to the crabs would have been fine with me. i didn’t like Belinda hitting the lottery. Or Lochlan living after dying.
  13. He was great and he was there anyway as he is Leslie Bibb’s longtime SO.
  14. LCK just exposes the weirdo factor of most of these. That Russian was crazy. One quit.
  15. WL pays everyone the same and it’s not negotiable. Harrelson was offered Rick but was really planned for Frank. Imagine woody with the ladyboy monologue.
  16. We were disappointed. The Lochy situation and I guess that was blamed on bad leftover coconut milk. We can only surmise they are returning to scandal, shame and ruin. Hated the resolution for Rick and Chelsea. Hated the Belinda resolution; her son will spend that fortune in a heartbeat. Hated that Gaitok pussied out on fingering the Russians and he made bodyguard for the now widowed boss. Hated we got no more nekkid Laurie and that the ladies had no danger from the Russians and Laurie didn’t say anything.
  17. I think they were told it would be the next hot street. The great Cafe Americano is west 100 yards and it isn’t jumping like it was when it opened. Hurtado when it opened was hard to find and nothing was around it. But 225 I think isn’t getting the traffic either.
  18. So one hour left. I didn’t like Robby now siding with the wacko kid. McKay did the right thing calling the cops. He needs to be locked up. Just because he’s not the shooter doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to kill the girls on his list.
  19. The story of the Comanche could be a a multi season series. Im a history buff and somehow the story of the 1927 great floods is ignored. It was a cataclysmic event in American politics, economics, race relations, and the collapse of the Delta plantation structure, and spurred the second great migration. This is a great book and would make a great dramatic series. Sponsored
  20. I think Cedrek voted for hisself. After that performance having to be dragged up a wall by womenfolk he should have walked into the sea and disappeared.
  21. Your son is getting the best end of the deal. 94 Bronco pulling into the school parking lot will get him some trim.
  22. Went to Hurtado Arlington original yesterday as boss was in town and forgot to take pics. it was fantastic. Brisket was tender and well smoked. Bacon burnt ends might have been the best I’ve had. Ribs good for Texas. The burger was great. Hash brown casserole tasty, green bean with chorizo tasty, and red slaw averages. The Texas torpedoes are huge and tasty. today he read about 225 so we went there. I didn’t get a pic of the other tray. The pork belly burnt ends were good but not Hurtado level. Rib was better. The brisket was excellent and par to Hurtado. Those are shrimp tacos and they are very good but very rich as he loaded them with cheese whereas last time they were more San Diego style. His Twinkies are smaller but good. Thats street corn which was really drenched in the crema. in most places 225 would be the best in town and packed. Yesterday Hurtado a few blocks away had a 20 minute line to order. Today 225 had 4 tables with folks and no wait. I see that there on Saturdays. It’s such a hidden location but he’s got Hurtado nearby and Zavalas and Goldee’s 15 minutes away. Crowded market.
  23. One of the best comedies ever. Jonathan winters was a genius. Most of you are too young to have remembered his tv show.
  24. Add in the Lannisters and the True Detective S1 crew. Rust would be cool figuring shit out.
  25. Morrison was his greatest role. No doubt.
