  1. What info are you citing for this? I think mixing coverages with a heavy dose of bump and run would go a long way against them. Drop linebackers into slant windows and align the corners to make sideline throws harder. They are elite at back shoulder throws, but I doubt they'll live with those throughout the game.
  2. Kiffin & Co. really don't give a fuck. Zach Evans, Chris Marshall, Michael Trigg, now Walter Nolen
  3. I think the bigger issue was his perceived lack of development. He was locking onto MHJ more than he should have. Stroud wasn’t a dynamic athlete either, but he saw the field and showed signs of being special pretty early on. McCord didn’t really do that, and Buckeye fans are restless.
  4. The leap from inexperienced players to more experienced players is almost always larger than the leap from experienced player to more experienced player. Our guys were very talented, but still learning how to win. They’ve gotten better from the beginning of the year to where they were against OkSt. Now, Sark and Co. have a month to prep and our guys have time to get healthier. You guys have been banged up all season, but our guys have too.
  5. I think Oregon was pretty overrated. Their schemes are rudimentary and they rely on out-athleteing the other team on offense more than they should. They had a hard time doing that. Defensively, they seem to play hard but not disciplined. Constantly getting out-leveraged and they overpursue to the ball, opening up cutback lanes. We generally play much more disciplined on defense. When guys get caught out of position, it usually gets cleaned up by the next series. On offense, we have guys who can out-athlete most guys. Xavier Worthy can get open against anyone on most plays. Sark still schemes him open because he can. Why make it harder than it needs to be? I think we'll be able to run and pass on those guys more consistently than they will on us. If Burke/Sorrell/Finkley can stay disciplined on the edge, the plays will come to them.
  6. Tell him to take it easy on shoulder day
  7. I guess he officially entered, but he's planned on doing so for a while. Very NIL driven. Also a complete moron.
  8. Sark is closer to 6' than 6'2. Owens is super tall though. Reminds me of that Nate guy from Euphoria.
  9. I thought stutsman already announced he was going pro? Maybe he walked that back
  10. JT has a lot of lowlights in both pass pro and run blocking. He's really like a pseudo-receiver right now. He could become a first rounder if he drastically improves his blocking.
  11. How mad would Tennessee be if we took another committed pass catching transfer from them?
  12. Jaylan Ford was a 3 star. Kenneth Murray (a guy we lost to OU) was a 3 star. Dantre Robinson is a 3 star. Justin Flowe was a 5 star. TyAnthony is pretty good already, but he has a solid frame to add weight to without losing his athleticism.
  13. He's referring to Tyler Baron, not Barion Brown.
  14. We'd probably take both if we could. Keep everyone fresh and active.
  15. Having money shouldn't preclude someone from enjoying things they used to enjoy when they had less money. Keep it simple
  16. The one in Sugar Land and the one in Westpark have very good talent. The Pasadena and Webster locations, not so much. But the Grande Top Shelf margaritas are very strong and voluminous for around $8. Good place for a cheap date back in the day.
  17. You are doing Cheddar's wrong then. The food is horrible, but the drinks are fantastic (and strong).
  18. If it doesn't need to be made public, there is likely a good reason why. The recruit is likely committed elsewhere and one they've been trying to flip for a while. No idea on why the portal visitor would be kept quiet unless it could impact someone currently committed or already on the team. Sark and co seem to be pretty open with their guys about who they pursue though.
  19. Sul Ross would be proud.
  20. Weak leadership and poor culture makes it easier for influential figures within the organization to become pseudo-leaders. Elko isn't a needle-mover in any way right now.
  21. Yea, but can he recruit?? /sarcasm
  22. Comparing Maalik to Quinn and other exceptional QBs isn't fair. The kid hasn't played much and he has a lot of development left in him. Look at what Tate Rodemaker and other backup QBs have looked like around the country. It's unfortunate that QB room was too healthy for him to have much of a path here, but he's got plenty of ability to go somewhere and be the guy. If you can do something some of the time, you can do it all of the time. A team with a strong running game that allows him to make easy throws downfield or shallow is probably the way to go. He's probably a guy you don't want throwing more than 25 times a game unless he can increase that 55% completion percentage. God speed MM, and hook'em
  23. yep
  24. Trejan Bridges, I believe
