  1. Agreed here, but Taaffe and McDonald have shown ball hawk tendencies. Maybe Derek Williams too. I’m not a Guilbeau believer, but the coaches seem to be so we’ll see. Cant have two corners (Muhammad & Guilbeau) who lack make up speed on the field at the same time.
  2. The only movies I had a hard time with as a kid were Jurassic Park and Aliens. Once I got old enough, none of that stuff was believable enough to bother me anymore.
  3. Personnel. We didn't really have maulers up front like they had at Bama. Conner, and Majors were more effective at mirroring defenders than they were at driving DL backwards. Hutson tries to play more physically, even if he isn't always effective at it. Neto is super physical, but he doesn't always know who to block and at what angle. Campbell hopefully goes nuts this year. Either way, more physical guards and center this year. We'll see if it translates.
  4. This is my biggest concern against OSU and kinda for the season, but we aren't gonna see another potent passing attack like that unless Mateer is the truth at OU. Can PK, Nansen, and Akina make their concepts to work well together? It took PK and Joseph some time before they made it work.
  5. Finkley wasn't particularly athletic for being so undersized. He also didn't have the tools to mitigate that. All motor. Kruel is explosive and athletic. Not as athletic as Bryce Perry Wright, but up there. He's probably smaller than BPW though, hence the pass rush specialist label. Not sure how tall Kruel is, but I would have guessed Finkley to be around 6'1 when I saw him.
  6. You guys are arguing semantics. Who fucking cares? We were hyped last year and we're hyped this year too. Enjoy the ride, the coverage and hype are gonna be bananas by the time week 1 in Columbus gets here.
  7. He will not start camp as a starter, but he will work his way up there before camp is over. Same thing Trey Moore, Mitchell, and others have done
  8. DMo inconsistent? I'm not a pure stats guy, but he was our 3rd option at best for much of the year and still had a great year. This year, he will likely be the first or second option unless Wingo AND Endries blow up. On top of that, he has Arch throwing to him now. Aside from any Arch v Quinn improvements, those two have been building a rapport since they were both on the bench as freshmen. Barring injury, I'm expecting a 70+ reception, double digit TD season of him.
  9. Another big time get! This guy has so much room for improvement. He has an IZ frame, but an OZ skill set. Love his film.
  10. Biggest concern going into week 1 is our secondary, namely our corners, against their WRs. We really need our front to get Sayin off his spots early so he doesn't get into a groove. Second concern would be their front against our OL, but I'm hoping Arch's mobility is a mitigating factor while they find their legs. As mentioned above, we have some solid advantages going into this one, but those are the challenges I can see right now.
  11. Clearly fakes, but I wouldn’t say no if she was offering a test drive.
  12. Massive fucking get. Enough size, great explosiveness, and all the arm length you could want. Pissing in Kirby’s Cheerios is an added bonus
  13. What a fucking day. Johnson was probably the best looking of the DL we were in on. Fits a different profile of the ones we had too. Massive get.
  14. If putting ground beef/meat in my queso is wrong, then fuck off and leave me to my wrongness
  15. Damn it feels good to be a gangsta Good shit guys, and welcome to the 40, Tyler
  16. I respect his outcomes more than his content, but your point still stands.
  17. It’s always interesting when people look down on a meathead who made millions playing a meathead sport when he’s now making even more millions acting like a meathead for the fans of the meathead sport. It’s almost like he found an audience, positioned himself very well, then leveraged that position brilliantly. Football is great, but at its core, it is what it is.
  18. Miller took the job from Justice Haynes and Richard Young. He was their steady guy. Really good at pass pro, caught the ball out of the back field well, etc. Blue was given multiple opportunities to make this his year, but fumbled it over and over again. Wisner, like Miller, wasn't even given snaps like that until Blue showed he couldn't be trusted and he had a minor injury. The offenses are also completely different. Not gonna derail the thread further, but I believe Jam is no less of a bust than Blue.
  19. Leading rusher outside of Jalen Milroe at Alabama despite being in a crowded backfield. Jaydon Blue, on the other hand, got benched a few times during the season. Despite RB1 going down in fall camp, lost his bell cow opportunity to unheralded, undersized Tre Wisner. Take the ULM game out of the equation and his numbers are much less impressive. I don't like Miller based on how he did us in his recruitment, but him becoming a reliable option in that offense is impressive and it wouldn't surprise me if he had a breakout season next year.
  20. Considering Jam Miller a bust, but not Jaydon Blue one is... a take
  21. We pushed hard on Crowell and Edwards, but likely valued Cooper higher. Cooper wasn't reciprocating as much. After losing out on both Edwards and Crowell, we upped the ante on Cooper and are now in position to land him. He was delaying his commitment to see us in the fall anyway, but we made our position on him known and it looks like that will be enough for now. It makes having the OV in our back pocket even more valuable as well.
  22. I just choked on my coffee while reading this one, hilarious
  23. I wouldn’t say I’m personally worked up about it, but because of that, I’ll be against him if he ever enters my sphere of influence if it’s all the same. No biggie though, all fun and games.
  24. Confirmed that deal publicly? Wild shit. Fire that agent immediately, and massive bullet dodged
