  1. Safer than Agiye Hall? Jahleel Billingsley? Absolutely.
  2. He didn’t have a recorded fumble. I think he lost the ball or nearly lost the ball twice in the postseason. One, for sure, on a reception running OoB against ASU. They’ll grind the tape and count that against him.
  3. Last year's draft was more shallow than usual due to NIL keeping more guys in college an extra year. RB was especially weak last year. This year it's stacked at that position as a result.
  4. If he didn't finish with 2 good games in the playoffs, he's probably back in college next year in a different uniform. But he entered the season with the expectation to go pro and he and his crew feel like he's done enough to make that a realistic goal at this point.
  5. He actually finished with over 1000 yards from scrimmage this year. His biggest risks in going this year are the stacked RB class coming out and his fumblitis.
  6. RT inspires no confidence in the fans, does he even do the same fan outreach stuff that Beard did? Everyone I talk to is done with the guy already. We aren't likely to make the tourney this year, but I imagine his fate depends on who they think they can get.
  7. Sark's offense is at its best running IZ effectively. We tried to run it early in his tenure and couldn't due to personnel. Bijan wasn't great at it and the OL wasn't even decent at blocking it. We found some success in the second year doing some double team blocks and other gap scheme runs. Bijan was at his best in OZ, and we had the athletic linemen to run it. Brooks was our best IZ guy by far. We were hoping Baxter could be better at it this year, but once he got hurt, things fell to shit until we went back to OZ as the primary in the 2nd half of the OU game.
  8. Wingo's biggest issue is learning the WR positions better in Sark's offense. He also needs to refine his route running. Add a bit more weight, then start using it effectively to maximize his physical gifts.
  9. I'm always terrified when I imagine people like this in positions of consequence
  10. Sam can definitely throw the ball, he just didn’t have the strongest arm. Ball placement was also an issue at times.
  11. Yea if we had options, it would be great to move on from Bond. But if he comes back without it breaking the bank, we could really use his speed element and he would hopefully know the offense better next year.
  12. On Judkins' first TD run of the game, Bill Norton has penetration, but is held and Judkins strolls in right next to where the hold is happening. No call. We held a few times in pass pro with no call as well, but OSU definitely leaned into it. So much so that they actually got called for a couple. I called it before the game though, they've been doing it all through the playoffs and the refs haven't been calling it on anyone.
  13. Love Banks, but he isn't a generational LT. He's really good in pass pro due to his IQ, athleticism, and above average length, but not overly dominant as a blocker.
  14. Quinn did enough as a starter to help us get back into the national spotlight. He's not a guy you can rely on to win a game against any decent opponent. Thankful for his contributions, and I wish him the best going forward.
  15. He's gone, but Bond could really benefit from another year in college. It probably won't make him a better practice player though. Oh well, on to bigger and better things hopefully.
  16. If you see anything wrong with what Sark had to say about that playcall there, I dunno what to tell you. Not being to displace the man in front of you makes it extremely difficult to run goal line offense. He believed he could get them out leveraged, and it went far worse than expected with the loss of yardage. It would have been a great call if it worked, but it didn't. The OL was not good enough for us to win today, that's really what football comes down to more often than not.
  17. Arch and a healthy IZ game is going to make this offense look unbeatable at times next year. The final score is not indicative of how close this game was despite all the adversity. Hell of a game by Sark to have a chance to get it done late, not great play calls at the 1, but our OL is not good at short yardage at all and OSU is elite at stopping it.
  18. The IOL is developing, but they aren't there yet. Hayden Conner's best trait is that he knows who to block. Neto can drive block, but he misses way too often to be relied on, hence the portal interest. The most important aspect of an OL is working together to handle the threats. They do that for the most part, just not dominantly. Things will take a step back in some regard next year, but I expect more physical dominance as the years go by.
  19. We weren't getting in up the middle. MAYBE off tackle, but Sark had no faith in his OL there. I didn't like the toss play, but who can you fucking rely on to block? Tough sequence there. I probably stick with throwing and give Quinn the green light to run.
  20. Hey man, I apologize for the remark I made. Hook'em
  21. Because youre probably a lot less valuable to your company than he is. He gambled and lost, shit happens. Our guys should have been able to execute well enough to keep him out of the end zone. He's kept a white hot Ohio State offense to 14 pts in the first half and Jeremiah Smith to...1 catch for 3 yards. Pretty good stuff.
  22. It's an added variable in a game that they don't need any added distractions. I don't fault Sark for it if he made that call

    Bert!

Jeff Crosby is your guy. He’s the de facto specialist coach.

    Bert!

You think a kicker needs a dedicated coach on staff? They usually have a GA or something similar working with the off to the side charting stats and maybe helping them work through the process if necessary. Kickers are part of the team, but they generally do their own thing. Unless he’s hurt, Bert’s issues are mental. He didn’t just forget how to kick after all this time.
