  1. Oh, hard to keep up with this stuff these days. Hopefully it’s Lott then
  2. Relax spectrum buddy, the post was a read on general sentiment today juxtaposed with the same time last week. If you had similar energy, then congrats on staying consistent
  3. Speaking to general sentiment, from glancing over posts. I’m sure there are those who were effusive in praise and those who were completely dismissive of it
  4. Sounds like the LB from Mich St. and Dre Quinn.
  5. Hypercritical of losses, faint praise after wins over top 5/6 teams. This is fun for you? Enjoy this shit guys, it's as good as it gets unless we go bananas and win the title.
  6. It's good seeing him staying in Arch's ear more.
  7. Agreed about Arch needing to use his legs more in this game, but he was out there playing hurt from the Florida game. You could see him laboring even in pregame.
  8. He was one of the better run blockers today from what I saw. He's also significantly more mobile than Stroh.
  9. They got a former rotational player from Ohio State, an effective NT from Purdue, freshman AA, a former 5 star who was on the upswing, and Lavon Johnson. Alex January was also on the upswing. Obviously heavy investment in recruiting as well. Swung out on Lee Hunter. The inputs are greater than the current output. They also likely spent much of the offseason abusing this IOL, so they didn't realize they weren't going hard enough for average P4 OLs.
  10. Raising someone else’s child doesn’t make you a cuck. Being married to someone and enjoying the fact that they’re getting fucked by others is what makes you a cuck. If we’re gonna be over the top, at least be accurate
  11. Fire would be hyping his teammates up after big plays and lighting a fire under their asses when they’re getting their asses kicked. Arch laid it on the line against Florida, but a big part of being a leader is holding your people accountable. The coaches are responsible for that too, but it hits different when it’s peer to peer.
  12. Sark is either pissed or mentally checked out. He hasn’t won a title yet, so it doesn’t make sense to lose your drive. He probably realizes that his perceived big time talent alpha QB is actually mentally fragile and can’t handle being THE GUY on this stage. Arch is playing better, but this team lacks fire and that is exactly what Arch exuded last year. I expected some level of Tebowish fire from the guy, but instead we get timid/indifferent Hudson Card energy.
  13. The recruiting is an issue, but Flood made guys like Tope Imade serviceable and Christian Jones into a draft pick. The development has been lacking lately too, so it’s likely an overestimation of what they were working with. Big coaching error from Sark and Flood. All Sark can do at this point is manage an offense that doesn’t require more than 2 seconds of protection and hopefully find a running game along the way. We’re boned.
  14. Painful is people acting like there are no ways to fix these issues. We will invest heavy in OL during the offseason and things will likely improve to make the most of Arch’s final year (if he stays). We will likely pursue more speed in the offseason as well and let some guys walk who overestimate their value. Portal recruiting in the trenches failed this year, but that’s part of the risk in going heavy portal. How a freshman AA has such a hard time against the run is beyond me.
  15. This is the likely issue. We took shit for granted and lost our edge as a result. The talent is there to fix it at most positions, but likely not this season. Let’s hope he realizes the issues and adjusts before it turns into a tailspin.
  16. Not all 5 stars are created equal. DK Moore would be getting significant PT on our team right now. Dallas Wilson as well. Wingo played a lot last year. Wingo has always been more big, straight line athlete than refined WR. He has never played physically relative to his size either. Lockett is the only actual 5* we signed and he isn’t really a separation receiver, so he needs to add weight to not get bullied so much off the line or at the top of his routes.
  17. It’s never as bad as it seems and never as good as it seems. The worst part about yesterday is that it was a confirmation of many of the concerns that have been showing up to varying extents in each game this year. Sark gives a shit, and he has a lot of options to throw at the issue. The downside is that there are no gimmes left to workshop different options and we wasted many valuable snaps on Stroh and Hutson. That Cojoe injury hurts because he probably could have played LG better than that shit we’re seeing. Flood needs to simplify the scheme and get these guys playing aggressively. Find a blocking scheme Neto can execute consistently and let his aggression be the example for the others to follow. Arch is a playmaker/athlete QB playing in a strict timing offense. He’s probably not ready to execute the gimmes of this offense so everything looks even harder as a result. He looked mentally fragile again yesterday as well. He should have been lighting up his guys for playing substandard all game. Sark has significantly overrated the quality of his team on both sides of the ball. Too much pride/money on the line for things not to get better fast.
  18. I'll go back and watch the game once I get rid of the rest of the vomit taste from my mouth.
  19. Quinn would have taken 10 sacks yesterday, but maybe Sark would have been more willing to run more quick game with him back there. Why we didn't do more to get the ball out fast is beyond me
  20. Even last year’s highly talented, highly experienced, Joe Moore finalist squad wasn’t all that good at moving people. He’s gotta go this offseason for this offense to unlock its potential
  21. The OL and DL are the reason why this season is lost. At least they tried to address the DL, the OL is fucking abysmal. It’s only gonna get worse from here.
  22. MM is not a burner at all. Generally plays with good feet, physicality, and discipline though
  23. It’s more about getting your attention than putting out quality content
  24. My post assumes Stroh will play, because, you know, the coaches keep putting him out there. They also believe in OL continuity. He’s not great, but I’m choosing to be optimistic on his potential. I don’t think Neto is the solution, but as stated I would like to see others get more of an opportunity.
  25. I’m not a Stroh advocate, he’s generally bad with limited athletic upside. He’s very strong though and it shows up sometimes. I was a Neto believer, but he couldn’t beat out Hayden Conner and lost his inside track position to Connor Stroh. No longer a Neto believer. I’d like to see someone else get into the rotation, but I understand why that won’t happen, so I’m hoping for the best with the red headed kid with the gracefulness of a boulder.
