  1. The entire movie is damn near quotable. Harvey Korman fucking nailed the paddle board scene. Alex Karras knocking out the horse. The blackboard with nothing but the name Johnson on it. Lots of quick shots under a few seconds that were absolutely brilliant
  2. Along the collaborator lines. German millionaires don’t like public scrutiny. In fact, there are some super wealthy Germans that you can’t find their picture. Very similar to Rolex. Try to dig into their business and see what you find. Very hush, hush.
  3. Red Shoe was ok, but you nailed the others
  4. One can only speculate, but involving Wage and Hour with their oversight is probably going to be an issue at some point. Throw in players having a voice in travel, practice time, overtime, etc. Add in right to work states and those nuances, and yeah it is going to look much different very soon. On the other hand. Can you imagine a situation where the department of labor subpoenas Georgia over something similar to the car wreck scandal? All communications from cell phones, computers, will come out during discovery. It will be interesting.
  5. No, not really. There are some clever assholes on this site. Fucking with those that ain’t us is pretty much a sport. Especially during the offseason.
  6. This was excellent! It was educational hearing how things like royalties, health care, pension money, etc factored into a musician’s income.

    Insomnia

How well did it work? Any side effect's?
  8. I went to the IRS website to read about this issue. I’m hoping one of the lawyer types on this site chime in because that is a fucking complicated document. I understand the 501(c)3 angle, but there is no federal legislation, it is very confusing for me.
  9. It was written by a duo who went by the name Fat Tuesday. Believe it or not I learned that from the movie Logan Lucky. I had to Google their names, Bill Danoff and Taffy Nivert
  10. Too late the hero. Old Michael Cain, Cliff Robertson war movie. I don’t think I have seen it since its original release. We are a much more sophisticated audience these days so yes, it’s dated. But, there is something about it that works.
  11. I’m not over it, probably won’t be for a good while.
  12. I have nothing against either team, it’s just boring football.
  13. I had one of these. it is quiet, not Hollywood quiet, but pretty damn close considering you still have the noise of the bolt cycling. Their claim of 117db is subjective. It really depends on how sensitive your db equipment is. Where it is placed, and the atmosphere conditions. But, it is quieter than any 300 blackout or 5.56 suppressed that I have worked with, and I load my own ammo. However $2200 is steep considering you still must supply a barrel and open up the barrel channel on your stock. And at the end of the day you still have a .22 rimfire. https://libertycans.net/product/idf-10-22-integrally-suppressed-barrel/
  14. I saw BOC do that live at the Fox in the early 80’s. They had some guy in an oversize Godzilla suit who came on stage with the dry ice fog after what felt like a five minute introduction. Everyone was thinking WTF. Apparently their big Godzilla that was the size of Iron Maiden’s Eddie was on the fritz. So they used this guy as the stand in. But the guy in the suit had some serious moves! He was all over the stage, how he didn’t bust his ass was impressive. It was an absolutely fantastic show. Full disclosure….,I was really fucking high.
  15. You are spot on. Duval ain’t Anthony Hopkins, but he is a star.
