Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
victory88 replied to texifornia's topic in 🤫$9.95🤫
Bobby and Gerry stated this morning that they feel Texas is prioritizing LOS players with regards to NIL. It would make sense. They are saying that Texas is right in there for James Johnson. If we get Johnson and Guervil that will be an insane haul to go along with Presley when you include Vodney Cleveland. We are also looking good for two 5 star tackles. We may very well end up with four 5 star line of scrimmage players. Why over spend on freshman WRs when you can get guys like Matthew Golden, AD Mitchell, Emmitt Mosley likely that are ready to produce and may not cost you much more. Hard to find elite LOS guys in the portal. No point in paying them to sit on the bench. Sark also just did an interview with Greg McElroy where he said he feels great, not good, about the WR room. I imagine he’s not as concerned about landing expensive WR prospects this cycle if Ffrench, Lockett, and McCutcheon are a year in front of them.- 7499 replies

Welp... that sucked. -
Daily reminder of that Netanyahu is charged with numerous war crimes and is starving an entire population. Not only are they starving an entire population, they are using food trucks as bait to shoot civilians. Want to know how sick this gets, Israel has observation decks where their citizens can watch this happen. Israel has murdered and killed more journalists than world war 1, world war 2, Vietnam war, and Afghanistan war, Iraq war combined. Israel has killed 233 UN aid workers. Most recent one was shot driving a UN aid truck. Who is the terrorist again? Or is that word only for Muslims?

Don’t you see, those kids are all terrorists! They must be shot. Hamas is using those toddlers as shields. Those Israeli soldiers have to first put a sniper bullet in the 3 years head, then their heart, and only then can they kill the Hamas terrorist using them as a shield. Hamas was hiding in every building in Gaza so Israel had no choice but to blow up every single building. Then when the people that lived in those homes went to dig up their dead ones, they have make sure to drop more bombs on them to make sure they don’t help the dead Hamas in the rubble. Oh don’t forget the refugee camps of the displaced innocent civilians living in tents! You see, Israel’s technology is so great, they can see through buildings and send precise missiles into Iran to kill their leaders. But those tents are made of a special cloth where they can’t see all the Hamas hiding in them. So their only choice is to bomb the entire refugee camps. As for the food, who the hell do you think those 80 lb starving kids are getting flour for?! For Hamas man, they must be shot while running to get food. Can you imagine all the bombs Hamas could put inside baked cakes from all that flour?! And hospitals?! Bomb those too because Hamas has bases under them… only a sick person would put a military base under a hospital!! Oh wait, Israel’s military base is under a hospital too? But that doesn’t count… they just don’t have enough stolen land to build their bases, that’s why they keep theirs under a hospital. And fuck all the medical devices in the Gaza hospitals. The soldiers have no choice but to break all the imaging equipment and medical devices. Imagine if the humanitarians treated Hamas for cancer?! Btw, the stuff you posted is nothing. There’s plenty of videos of kids with blown off limbs crying for their dead parents. Or you could post the interviews of all the doctors that have spent time down there that have had to do amputations and tracheotomies with no local anesthetic on kids. Sorry for the rant, but I will hop on this thread daily and remind everyone about the genocide and war crimes being committed with our tax dollars by funding Netanyahu and his extremist party with weapons and missiles.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen

I have no idea. I would imagine this staff isn't taking commitments until they see the players in person. Not sure if they ever measured/weighed him in a camp setting. I don't think he's one of the silents. USC passed on him and he seemed pretty desperate to commit to us right after. With that said, I don't know shit. He may commit today for all I know. -

From what I've pieced together. Oregon and USC are throwing a big NIL and Texas instead is deciding to utilize big dollars towards the trenches and LB. Outside of NIL, Lott seems to want to get away and do his own thing. -
What? Do you have any Jewish friends? I went to a Jewish private school for 4 years and have a ton of Jewish friends some of whom are my best friends. Moderate, westernized Jewish people have very little in common with Americans culturally and they would tell you the same. Good thing modern, non-orthodox Jewish people are running Israel and not extremist Orthodox Jews. I wonder how the orthodox Jewish population feels about Christian Israeli’s. I bet they are extremely welcoming and don’t spit on them on the streets. Also, most modern non orthodox Jewish people do not support Netanyahu because even they are not blind to the war criminal that he is. The only thing the current majority Israeli people and MAGA/Republican Americans have in common are they are both aligned in exploiting Muslims in the region… one for their land and the other for their natural resources. Not sure if you’ve traveled to Europe, but their current general population does not share your portrayed sentiment towards Israel or even the US.

So we’ve had 7 DTs drafted in the last 4 years correct? Taquan Graham Moro Ojomo Keondre Coburn Byron Murphy T’Vondre Sweat Alfred Collins Vernon Broughton That is an insane sales pitch along with the NIL, playing for possible the best pass rush coach in Baker, and living in Austin. This is Bama level DT recruiting this year. Johnson, Simeon, Gurviel, Cleveland are all national elite level talents. Cleveland is in, Gurviel has to one of the silents, Gerry says we are in it for Simeon, and Johnson doesn’t seem to be unrealistic either. I say take whomever wants to come. Process out Wells if need be. I do like Berymon, dude is built like a keg. Hell we may even get back in with Winfield later in the year… Just insane DT recruiting honestly. I haven’t seen anything like this since following Texas in the early 2000s. Last year awesome but this is insane when you consider edge recruiting as well. -

Damn! Out of nowhere! Do Presley and Henderson play different positions? I’m wanna be greedy! -
You realize Israel has an extremist party in place that teaches their kids that the same? As a Christian, go visit Israel. See how the locals will treat you there right now.
-
Do you just read what you want to read? Where did I state Israel needs to be held accountable for Iran? I've made multiple posts stating they need to be held responsible for their actions with Gaza. I've also stated that the US does not need to risk lives or waste tax payer dollars to back this conflict between Iran and Israel.

Texas A&M Recruiting 2026: The World's Drunkest Elk

We have seen this train wreck: - Overpay a bunch of incoming freshman. Many of those are coming only because the money was too much to say no to. - Older players get pissed they are in contributing/starting roles and their backups are making more - Older players don't welcome or integrate the younger guys leading to culture issues - Older players transfer out of the program leading the younger players starting when they are not physically or mentally ready. - 5-7 loss season ensues because you're playing a bunch of young players, lack depth, and experience. - Same players portal out because they do not want to play for a losing program, realize they are putting out bad film, and are not getting developed. - Aggy fires their coach. -
I'm not taking sides here man. Who said Iran is absolved from funding Hamas and the crimes they have committed? It's okay to hold both sides accountable, you know that right?
-
1. Well, there is a side here for sure completing mass destruction. But that is okay you see. 2. You're right! We should have totally invaded Iraq for those WMDs. Who needs evidence? Fuck all those American troops that died right?
-
Creating chaos, uncertainty, and portraying a bigger enemy to world is a great way to shift focus from the mass genocide that is happening. So instead the world has shifted their focus to Iran and not talking about the war crimes being committed. Also, can someone answer how long Iran has had uranium in that facility? Did they get this uranium last week? Has the world known about this bunker? If so, for how long? Judging by the fact that they can't seem to do much of any damage against Israel with their current shitty weapons, I'm not sure that they can develop a nuke or be able to even launch one. With everything said, if they are close to having a nuclear weapon, the yes... actions need to be taken to prevent that from happening. I still have not seen any evidence put out there from the news that they are close to having a nuclear weapon. And until I see this evidence, this is Bibi shifting attention from the below:

@closetojumping I know you mentioned aggy is throwing stupid offers. Let's say this do the same with one of Turntine/Ojo as well. How does Texas generally deal with someone like aggy moving the goalposts to get prospects? I can't imagine Texas is going to sit back and go to their plan Bs for multiple guys at the top of their boards. Do you see Texas matching these offers or moving on to another guy that will accept what they have allocated for the position from a NIL standpoint? Basically, what is the general plan when aggy gets desperate and throws stupid offers for multiple guys? -

Is Perry-Wright an edge as well? I’d say Henderson probably would be at the top of the board. Gerry has said he’s a surefire 5 star. -

Isn’t Carlton considered a developmental prospect like Zina from needing to add weight and strength? I saw he was ranked as a 5 star on one service but didn’t quite get the ranking of he’s not expected to contribute for 1-2 years. -
I just said they fund Hamas. I asked where they have attacked the US or US personnel, perhaps I should have clarified recently or within current events. You don't have to give me a history lesson. There are plenty of countries that fund militias and terrorists groups, Iran is not alone with this. We are talking about starting a war where many lives will be lost, a lot of American lives as well. I'm sorry if I'd like a reason for us to enter a conflict and events that happened in the 80s and 90s aren't factoring into my decision making. I posted a link in a post above and there is a whole separate thread for this. All the reports and evidence shows that they do not have the capability to make or launch a nuke. You are right, people have been saying for 20+ years that Iran is months from a Nuke, yet here we are and they still do not have one. I blame Hamas for a lot and they deserve whatever comes there way. I want to be very clear. Israel has the right to exist and defend themselves. What happened to those hostages and Jewish people was horrendous and I have no sympathy for Hamas. With that said, I'm going to be really honest with you and I do not expect you to change your mind or opinion. This entire escalated conflict has been going on for more than a few years. I pretty much ignored it because it does not affect my daily life nor do I have the mental bandwidth do give a shit with running my business and raising a family. For anyone that wanted to talk to me about it, I just did want to hear it. I spent some time listening and watching a lot of interviews with American and European humanitarians, doctors, aid workers and then made the mistake of watching actual footage, more than I wanted to but I'm glad I did. Having a 3 year old and a new born coming in 2 months, what I saw made my stomach turn. There are no shortage of podcasts, tv shows, interviews whether it's Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, Pierce Morgan or influencers... whatever floats your boat... where you can listen to people's, specifically Americans, experience that were there. If you listen to their experiences and you come away that any of this is morally right, then I am at a loss of words. A simple google search will provide you with confirmed lives lost of children, not including the ones still buried under the bombed buildings. I'm sorry if you feel differently, I personally wish I did not turn a blind eye and wish I spoke out sooner or at least acknowledged that this is wrong. Bomb all the terrorists you want, but I cannot morally accept murdering kids, burning them, dropping bombs on them, and starving them. Perhaps your line of what is right and wrong extends further than mine. I'm going to exit this thread for a while, feel free to DM me if you want to talk further.

https://www.congress.gov/crs_external_products/IF/PDF/IF12106/IF12106.17.pdf Lots of information summarized in there. Take from it what you will. I don't see any concrete evidence in there stating they are weeks from being able to launch a nuke. If they did, Trump would be the first to fly a plane with a US bomb. If anything, he is trying to avoid conflict and that would not be the case if Iran was an imminent threat. I don't agree much with the orange man, but I agree with him here. We can take the conversation to the other thread as it is better suited.
-
Can you show proof of this? Because in the other thread, you can see the reports on there that all their facilities were being monitored. Iran definitely funds Hamas but can you please reference the international terrorism or attacks at US civilians? Their conflict is regional with Israel. As for assigning good faith, sorry if I'd like to see proof before we go bomb another country and kill civilians because of weapons of mass destruction that do not exist. And I like how terrorism is only confined to Muslims/brown people. As if the 25000+ dead kids in Gaza with bullets in their skulls and blown off limbs from US weapons and American tax dollars is any different than a Hamas moron launching a RPG. They are both equally wrong and it needs to stop.
