  1. As usual, "Crisis actors!"
  2. The same people who get irrationally angry because the "elites" shit on Muledick, Texas, population 780, but have no issue shitting all over any big city in America that actually drives the economic engine of the state/country. Muledick, Texas wouldn't exist if Houston/Dallas/Austin/San Antonio weren't propping it up.
  3. The #2 city by GDP generated in the U.S. Yeah, let it burn. Fuck the economy!
  4. No teams from last year being in Omaha this year is cool too
  5. Rooting for the Racers in Omaha
  6. Twitter is a stupid cesspool
  7. Well don’t you know, aggy leads for every player in the portal. Earley will have to break some kids’ hearts
  8. But the Vanderbilt advant…

https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/story/star-wars-andor-mon-mothma-dance-meme Mon Mothma’s AndorWedding Death-Dance Is the Song of Summer “Niamos!” was designed to show a revolutionary’s emotional spiral after consigning her dearest friend to assassination. Now it’s a party meme.
  13. Oh I’m sure someone will be along shortly to argue the semantics
  14. I'm sure it will be the usual McClennan, St. Ed's, TXST, etc. I wonder if we play aggy again? Wouldn't mind a UH or someone not in the SEC. I'm curious what our conference slate will be next year - do we just rotate home/away from this year or do we pick up the teams we didn't face instead? Texas did not face aggy, Arkansas, South Carolina, Alabama, Ole Miss, Georgia. If we assume we always play OU (and we better), that's 3 of the 24 games, so we need 7 more opponents. If we pick up the 6 we didn't play this year, we have to double-dip with someone we did play last year. If Vandy would add softball, this would be really easy to keep a permanent rival (OU) and rotate the 7 other teams you face each year.
  15. I like Pannell because she pitched in the SEC for 3 years. Gave up 1 run to OU in 4 innings pitched over 2 games. She's def a reliever by nature - 6 save in 21 appearances a freshman, 15 in 30 appearances in 2024 and 3 in 33 this year (started 7 games). Missouri was also bad bad bad this year. Her sophomore year was her best year - 1.21 ERA. Maya Johnson had a 1.52 ERA this year in 207 IP with 366 strikeouts. She's a workhorse. Against p4 teams: 1-hit GT in 6 innings and gave up no runs, struck out 10 2-hit ASU in 8 innings, giving up 1 ER with 12 strikeouts 3-hit Purdue in 8 innings, giving up no runs with 12 strikeouts 3-hit Maryland, giving up no runs with 13 strikeouts She did not have good outings against VT in the tournament - 10 innings, 10 ER and only 11 strikeouts total across 2 games.
  16. Allegedly Texas has sent out portal offers to: Sa’Mya Jones (LSU INF) Tallen Edwards (Oklahoma State INF) Dakota Kennedy (Arizona OF) Maya Johnson (Belmont LHP) Taylor Pannell (Mizzou LHP) Texas is apparently the favorite for Jones and Edwards. We are apparently in the top 2-3 for Kennedy, Johnson and Pannell. Sa'Mya Jones looks like a pinch runner - not sure how a 5'3 infielder is good for us? You bring in Edwards at 3rd, Vivi back at short, Goode slides back to her natural 2B position and bring Stewie in at 1st (?). Prioritize Kennedy in LF for an outfield trio of Kennedy-Henry-Maloney. Kennedy hit .444 as a lefty hitter and had 2 HR off Canady last year. Pannell is probably the pitcher you prioritize - lefty who led the NCAA in saves this year.
  17. Unless you have daily maid service, a stay at home spouse or a magical linen closet that just replenishes towels every day, that's a lot of washing, folding and buying towels. Every person in the house needs 7 towels per week? 28 towels for a family of four. And does that include some days you have to shower twice? Jesus. I don't even use a brand new towel every day in a hotel.
  18. If im a HS pitcher, I wonder why she has turned one HS recruit into an ace since Parker graduated and won her other titles on the back of a stud rental.
  19. Okay. Paige Parker graduated in 2018. That’s 7 recruiting classes and her hit rate on developing top pitchers from HS into collegiate aces is Jordy Bahl and…? Vestal - transferred Rains - transferred MacAdoo - medically retired Nicole May - career #2/3 Emma Guthrie - transferred Deal - career #2/3 SJ Guerin - transferred Audrey Lowry - 43 innings She needed G Juarez, Maxwell and Trautwein for her dynasty, plus Bahl. Then Landry and now Berzon
  20. Besides Jordy! But hard to count her for playing 2 years and then leaving (by choice)
  21. Nice, I wonder if this has been in the works for a while as she cleared everything and got her visa
