  1. ? Those are just the stats. I included the defensive efficiency numbers precisely because they jived with what you were saying.
  2. No Williams, no Catalon, our pets heads are falling off. Fortunately, safety play isn't going to be important against *checks notes* a deep ball offense with 3 NFL receivers... What is nice is that Washington isn't like an air raid attack that gets the ball all quickly in space. Those sorts of game plans have hurt us quite a bit. While we don't play the deep ball particularly well on the backend, our line generally does a good job of making it hard for an offense to consistently rely on routes that require that much time.
  3. ESPN is most definitely wrong. It appears to have deleted Selvin Young from existence, which is pretty fucked up.
  4. UW 2022 - Giving up 368.8 yards per game, 241.8 yards per game passing, 26.3 points per game. UW 2023 - Giving up 396.6 yards per game (+27.8), 263.2 yards per game passing (+21.4), 23.6 points per game (-2.7). UW 2022 - FEI defensive ranking (adjusted efficiency) - 84 UW 2023 - FEI defensive ranking (adjusted efficiency) - 27 (!)
  5. In terms of running style, KRob is much closer to Ramonce than Blue.
  6. I'm not sure why that's your response. I asked specifically about run game as opposed to overall scoring. I'm just curious what Washington did that allowed it to have success on the ground versus our usual standard. Certainly part of it was not having our best linebacker. What else was the difference? Strength up front? Or was it schematic?
  7. So, our run defense was also good last year, but Washington shredded it. My feeling at that the time is that it was largely Washington taking advantage of us not having Overshown. However, were there other things that Washington did that allowed it to have success?
  8. Limited practice snaps out there. At some point, you want the people that are actually going to play to be the ones taking those snaps even if they aren't as talented as others. Wish the best for him. When he played, he played well.
  9. Seems like our plan is going to have to center on generating pressure. There isn't anything we can do to make our coverage hold up for 3+ seconds consistently. We just don't have the personnel for it.
  10. His only Big 12 loss there is Ok State to coach-less A&M.
  11. Just try and make it entertaining. We have high standards here.
  12. Don't let anyone ever say that CTJ doesn't take some playful shit talking over a bad take really well. Just tons of fun that one.
  13. No, it would be the most amazing thing ever. Everybody would watch that game. We are fascinated by disasters. And there would be so many drinking games based upon that game that the entire nation might simultaneously blackout.
  14. USF was entirely a result of Alabama panicking for no fucking reason. If they play Milroe, that game is a laugher.
  15. I'm pretty sure that is what Ryan Day does. Sark just assesses them.
  16. His head could have fallen off and it would have been easier to lie about severity than his actual injury.
  17. That would be a bad game plan for them against this team.
  18. I don't think we need to double anyone that is working with the secondary just yet ... unless by double you mean pay someone else to do it. Hopefully the teaching zone and communication will happen before Jan 1st.
  19. @Helobious finally understands his powers and the responsibility that goes that goes with them.
  20. Ya know, now that I think about it, all of Sark's success is definitely about you. Thanks man.
  21. I wouldn't favor Georgia against Michigan. I don't think it is a particularly amazing team this year. Teams that can keep up on the lines cause them all sorts of problems.
