  1. Congrats! Great looking ride. That was the color I had in my original build. When they rolled my MY21 order over to MY22, I was allowed to make changes to the build if I wanted. Starting in MY22, Ford offered eruption green as a color option, which I liked about as well as cyber orange. The difference was that Ford wanted an extra $500 (or was it $600?) for the cyber orange, but the green wouldn't cost anything extra. So because I liked the two colors about equally, I switched to green to save a few bucks. I've gotten several compliments on the green and I don't regret making the switch, but I still like that cyber orange a lot.
  2. +1. Gandorf is good people. Generous with advice and tips on places that may have good bottles for sale.
  3. "Perineal." That's what you get for sounding it out.
  4. Is AJ Brown pouting? Seriously?
  5. 38-37, Cedric. I know. I was there.
  6. Why wouldn't you go for it there?
  7. This. Of those three, I like the Byrds the best. Never really got heavily into the other two. But one cannot deny Crosby's place in musical or cultural history. And he was a very "real" dude -- warts and all. What you saw was what you got when it came to him, both good and bad.
  8. WTH is an "infrared toasted cherry oak barrel"?
  9. Whereabouts (if you don't mind me asking)?
  10. I don't believe McDonald, Stone, and Hall even made the list. RS tried to distinguish in the preface between "Best Voices" and "Best Singers." This list is supposedly the latter, which rationalizes why they were able to include names like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and others who have voices that make a lot of people cringe. But if we're talking great singers, one huge omission IMO is Robin Zander. He can do it all. I would certainly put him ahead of a bunch of people on that list.
  11. Just don't go mixing it with that can of ginger ale . . .
  12. Making salsa dona *is* pretty easy, but that TJ's stuff is legit if you don't have the time or the ingredients at the moment.
  13. It's been raining steadily in Pasadena, and I know there's been flooding and evacuations in the SB and Montecito areas. The 101 is closed between Ventura and SB. And the 166 is closed for now as well, so you wouldn't be able to take I-5 north, go west on the 166, and then drop down into Los Olivos from the Santa Maria area. Right now it's a big shitshow in that area of CA.
  14. When does the Georgia NC go up on the aggy wall? SEC . . . SEC . . .
  15. The wife and I had dinner at Nella in Los Olivos recently, and it was good. The sausage and potato pinsa (kind of a flatbread) was pretty tasty. Brewer-Clifton remains a good choice if you want to taste pinot. Fig Mtn. has a brewery right next to it. Curried chicken salad sandwich at Panino for lunch. But, yeah, it's gonna be raining on you for at least part of the time. We need it, though.
  16. Do what I do -- root for a meteor strike.
  17. The way things are setting up from a planning standpoint, we will probably have more time to do the SR12 drive between Torrey and Brice on our way home from Moab, i.e., on Day 8.
  18. The areas directly south of the LACC (i.e., Cheviot Hills, Rancho Park, Beverlywood, etc.) are good neighborhoods, so chances are great that anything you might find on VRBO or Airbnb in those areas would be nice. I suspect, however, that you won't find much in those neighborhoods on VRBO or Airbnb. I personally wouldn't be inclined to go too far south of I-10 because (depending on the particular area) things can start getting sketchy plus distance. Culver City might have some possibilities, and they'll be cheaper than the area immediately around the LACC.
