  1. I've noticed the same, even in the 2006 champ game. There are several hits from both sides that would be penalties if not ejections today.
  2. https://www.venetian.com/offers/share-the-love/get-love-offer.html Venetian offering free night to essential workers. The list of qualified essential workers is quite extensive. I bet they don't vet guests very hard on that. They just want people in the casino, restaurants and shops. https://www.venetian.com/offers/share-the-love/essential-community-heroes.html
  3. 13k+ posts and THIS is what it took for you to figure out you're hanging with the right crowd???
  4. Just to close this out, asked for the full $150k on 5/14. Got email on 5/17 late at night saying it had been approved. Docusigned the app on 5/18 first thing in the am. Got $149,900 in the bank account today 5/19. Don't recall seeing anything about a $100 fee and really not going to try too hard to figure that out.
  5. That's basically what we're doing. I don't see why the pay periods have to line up with the expenditure of the funds. In the end, I think all you have to do is say "I spent $x on payroll, and here's when."
  6. Took a quick look and didn't see any gotchas. Anyone see anything unexpected?
  7. I only see gray, light gray and dark gray.
  8. Got the EIDL email earlier today, seemed too easy and too good to be true. Slider maxed at $150k, answered a couple questions and done. Has anyone been denied after reaching this point?
  9. Who the heck eats at table games?
  10. Dollars to donuts says Karen called the cops on this one.
  11. I'm sure his password is OUsucks!
  12. Thanks! That was the confusing part which I neglected to include in my post. Neither the new bank nor Wells made any mention of an SBA number or an SBA loan number, which I remember from upthread. Just the "e tran" number which prevented us from applying with another bank. Meanwhile, we have colleagues who are applying to 2 or 3 banks (including Wells) without being stopped. You know all the days just seem the same to me. Last week, 2 weeks ago, last month, all seem like a year ago
  13. I seem to remember this being discussed earlier in the thread, but things seem to be changing every day, so throwing this out now. Right after the 2nd round of funding was approved for PPP, we submitted an app to Wells. So like 3-4 weeks ago. Wells go silent, just sending us the same form email every day until last Friday. Last Weds, we attempt to apply with another, smaller bank "community development bank" by their own description. We fully disclose that we have a pending app with Wells. They are great with respect to customer service. Their online app is kinda...shitty...so we have to email in a bunch of docs that were supposed to be uploaded, skip certain parts of the online app, etc. New bank comes back on Thu and says they cannot send in our request because SBA has already assigned an "e tran" number which prevents us from applying with any other institution. On Saturday, we get an email from Wells with an actual loan doc for the amount calculated in the initial Wells app. We fill out and submit, sign via docusign. Anyone have any idea where we really stand?
  14. I wouldn’t put it past GWB to have baited Trump into a comment like that.
  15. Didn't know Laughlin had an airport.
  16. And sometimes, they relocate cemeteries, but only move the headstones and leave the graves in place. Then build houses on top of them.
  17. It's not too bad if you go in off hours, which is what it sounds like he did, provided that was a weekday. Buddy and I once went from LAX to downtown Vegas in 3.5 hours, without even really trying. I set it in cruise at 89 for most of the way. Only took it over 100 a couple time just...because. Of course, that was a Weds at like 530a.
  18. Something tells me that none of these folks are aware that the song that they based their demonstration on is hailed by the LGBTQ community as a rallying theme.
  19. I agree with you. By my calc's the break-even is around $25-$26 per hour, although the article says $30. Regardless, hourly-wage workers in that range aren't really good at the big picture. Add that in to the fact that some, if not many businesses don't treat their hourly-wage employees well, and yeah, it's a problem. If I'm making $23 per hour and can get the same by doing nothing, and you treat me like crap, why the heck would I care about your business? We've got this problem now, and we treat our folks well, some of whom have been around since we opened the doors in 2006.
  20. Ask Dan Buckner.
  21. Website taken down. If an appointee has an embarrassing website, isn't taking it down something you do BEFORE you announce the appointment?
  22. EIDL payments starting to come out. Most folks are getting $1k per employee up to a max of $10k. It's odd, we never got an email but the money showed up last night. Wife's (no pics assholes) dental practice got an email a couple weeks ago and her money showed up this morning, as it did for a couple of her dentist friends.
