  4. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/09/nyregion/nyc-coronavirus-antibodies.html I believe this is the reference. One neighborhood, it seems.
  5. Was that the dude on hornfans? I'm not worried about it. I don't think there are any outstanding issues with my posts as I leave. Not having UT sports will make it easier to go and now is a good time. One less idoit to tolerate. Stone'sbackNixon.jpg
  6. ok. @immamac ban me. It's been a long run. Echo away.
  7. I'm ok with that. But it is currently legal I believe. The error was using the word pardon instead of commutation.(or clemency via commutation)
  8. You claiming there is not partisanship here? Hack-ery is relative. Alcohol levels are more than usual these past few months I also admit.
  9. I admitted the mistake after you pointed it out. Still a commutation of a double murderer of US military citizens.
  10. Trump has more than a thousand to go then. Maybe he has a yuge list ready to roll. https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/01/20/obama-used-more-clemency-power/
  11. Is this not the site for posting partisan hack stuff? I realized my slight error after C-Fuck pointed it out. Read about Loving, he was in an abusive, poor household as a kid and then in his early 20's killed people for chump change.
  12. I was reading about the over a thousand Obama pardons/commuted sentences. As opposed to the less than 50 for Trump. I was deciding whether to use the one I did or the FALN dude, Lopez Rivera, or many of the others. I did make an error saying full pardon. Decided to use that guy, Loving, cause he murdered people for money for a gift for his main squeeze.
  13. Of the, as of July 10th, deaths in Sweden attributed to Covid: 1428 were 90 years or older 2300 were 80-90 years old 1194 were 70 to 80 years old 379 were 60 to 70 years old 156 were 50-60 years old 69 were 0-50 years old Approximately 10 million people in Sweden. https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/sweden-population/#:~:text=The current population of Sweden,of the total world population. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1107913/number-of-coronavirus-deaths-in-sweden-by-age-groups/ Economy: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-06-16/one-economy-stands-out-as-crisis-reveals-striking-differences That was inclusive of Q2, reported here on June 15th. I am thinking there were no trillions of debt/dollar PPP or stimulus checks given out by the Swedish government as well. Edit: BTW, I have some potential co-morbidities, so I wear mask and gloves when in the 7-10 day visits to stores. We work from home as much as possible.
  14. Or influenced by the disaster of an economy in the US and the Swedish relative success with their herd immunity plan, along with the same in Texas till things have escalated, clearly, in the last 6 weeks. As it turns out, NYC has almost achieved that herd immunity with their lack of closing the subway, etc, and their initial stages causing a recent report to have upwards of 40-60% of New York citizens tested recently now with the antibodies. That immunity is not without costs, nor pain, nor death of some of the most sensitive or most risk taking crowds.
  15. Susan McDougal Quote: @Anastasis The power has been abused by almost every recent administration, but this is a uniquely egregious abuse. And we should not do away with the power. Susan McDougal got a full pardon for refusing to testify against Bill Clinton by Bill Clinton for protecting Bill Clinton. So Trump's clemency for Stone's punishment phase is arguably less egregious than Clinton's full pardon McDougal. Stone's deal is clearly not unprecedented.
  16. I see it. I can understand the criticism. I don't agree with many pardons or acts of clemency from the entirety of the PotUS office throughout the years. I'd be ok with all of it going away. It currently is within the purview of the office to grant either/or .
  17. Was Bly the recruiter on this guy? He was a stud CB for Mack back in the day.
  18. At this point Stone is still guilty of the charges as I understand it. (could be wrong, and I understand he is appealing) But he doesn't go to jail because that part was commuted, right? Stone didn't actually murder anyone like this killer of multiple US military persons who recently got a full pardon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwight_J._Loving
  19. How many pardons, or pardons +clemency, has Trump used compared to previous PotUS'? Assuming the use of a commuted sentence to grant clemency or a pardon is "Taking America to new lows". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_pardoned_or_granted_clemency_by_the_president_of_the_United_States
