  1. Not being an ag, I would rather spit and roast the pig than engage it intimately, however violent that contact might be.
  2. Meh, by joining we would have 1. ditched the B12, its officials, and its officers; 2. resumed more frequent games against the aforementioned teams; 3. begun to schedule games against Bama, Georgia, Florida, etc on the (semi-)regular; 4. secured a spot in a much more financially rewarding conference; 5. removed a massive recruiting disadvantage; 6. avoided ever having to play at Tech or Cougar High again among other benefits. If the schedule collectively only had only one or the other of Arkansas or A&M, I think travesty might be a bit of a strong word. I like re-opening the rivalries in a general sense, but the Aggies are piss-poor rivals. They and hopeful future ones run their yaps incessantly with boasting when they win and pissing on Texas when A&M loses. They whine, cry, and generally spread their obnoxious idiocy much more loudly since we are back in conference with them. Winning doesn't shut them up the way it does fans I know of other schools we play. They're too aggy consciously to process their status.
  3. Nooo waai, man. Even if yer built like a brick house, ya gots ta show out. Gag me with a spoon about not talking jive. Can you dig it? Bitchin rad words like tuddy are tooootally here to stay, man.
  4. That's a little bit favorable, but I'll allow it.
  5. Maybe Utah would rather help paddle OSU's and WSU's canoe. I don't remember UU's outrage on our behalf on the occasions that refs jobbed us. They were snug and happy in their west coast league with no concerns about B12 refs. Then their shared business plan of group freeloading on the media demand for USC games fell through. They had every opportunity to do something called due diligence. KM is not new to the B12. If they cared about officiating, they should have addressed it before signing up for the money (once their old stream dried up). I abhor the way bad officiating ruins a game, but Utah walked into a league previously quite publicly rife with bad officiating. They have to sleep in the bed in which they lie.
  6. SEC refs call far from perfect games, but the pain of being under B12 refs was inhumane. Good riddance to that trash fire.
  7. I would love to claim credit, but it is an homage to Home Alone.
  8. I saw the list. In fairness, who minors in petroleum engineering? It had never occurred to me that one would minor in engineering at all.
  9. Grade 2 sprain means on a macro level that part of the tendon is torn in 2. Either (a) he was never going to play, (2) he was going to fail miserably and worsen his injury, or (d) the MRI report that was in the wind was false.
  10. All the young Surlyites should be getting into nursing school if they can. Seriously, though. Become anesthesia APNs and get hired starting at minimum 100/hr.
  11. Playing one week after a grade 2 hamstring strain is crazy.
  12. I am not offended, and thank you for the thought! Hookem!
  13. I was trying to find different ways to offer advice to someone who looked to be hurting that I thought might lead that person to find a path that would be less painful with my recent posts. The ones about the rape programs were just straight up unsolicited opinion. Sorry if I offended with either.
  14. It is the rare internet denizen that engages in arguments ready to be swayed by evidence offered contrary to his opinion. Armed with this knowledge, those not enjoying the tilt may wish to consider how much they truly help themselves with each additional rejoinder, however compelling they find their own lines of reasoning.
  15. I actually heard that you were special. Now you know, too. Congratulations.
  16. If we were there, every team would practice for us year-round and make us their Super Bowl, and B12 refs would oversee the action.
  17. 1a Pedo State 1b Baylor 2 3 OU 4 5 (as one hates to have stepped in something) A&M For me, the covering up (and punishing victims of) rape thing is unfathomably bigger than anything else.
  18. Holy cow! NOW he can retire.
  19. The average clavicle fracture will heal without surgery over the course of 2+ months. Some are bad enough they won't heal without surgery. With surgery in a young athlete, I would expect good healing within about 6 weeks.
  20. Especially should ISU stumble, Boise could potentially get a bye and force the b12 champ to slide into the 5th champion spot.
