  1. Can't I just be hyperbolic without being called out on it? Gah. And yeah, your list is pretty damn good, and reflective of what I think a lot of lists would look like. For me Get Schwifty amd Pickle Rick might replace two of your five, but they're all in the same ballpark.
  2. i legit watched like 20-25 minutes of two dudes playing Madden on one of the ESPN channels today. life without sports is cruel.
  3. I actually think that there wouldn't be a ton of variance in people's top five lists to this point. I can think of two or three episodes off top that i think would appear in probably 4 out 5 lists. this show at its very best is just unreal- it blows my mind that a 22 minute episode can feel damn near like a feature length film, but that's Dan Harmon at his best. the bar is set very high, and when it gets met/exceeded it's damn near universally received as such.
  4. i feel like we have seen other ricks and mortys appearing in our regular rick and morty universe, i just can't put my finger on exactly when it's happened. also, i feel like it's been established that in all likelihood we've been watching several different Rick's and Morty's, and that there aren't just the two main ones who we saw in the pilot. But again, I can't remember anything specific enough to back that up.
  5. That's my entire point dude. People in this thread meltdown every time someone doesn't slurp the show/it's latest episode, only to have those same people going way over the top with praise for what was the first good episode of the season. I'm not going to melt down the way they did/do (again, people from this thread literally went to bellmont and demanded that immamac ban me for not liking an episode), I'm just going to continue to point out that the fanboys with R&M blinders on don't get to rule this thread and decide that only their opinions are allowed, particularly when their opinions are so over the top and fanboyish.
  6. it's really funny that the same people who *lose it* when even a single criticism is made are the same people who scream "Top five episode of all time!!" at the first good episode of the season. I'd love to see those top 5 lists. That episode was good, but nowhere near as good as the best episodes of all time. Let's try and keep it in our pants here. And if we can't do that, then let's not all have a coronary every time someone else says something negative about the show.
  7. lol, i love it when Rex Kramer randomly pops up just to neg my latest post.
  8. it's the latter. there wasn't even a three point line in college when MJ won the title. if the three had been a more normalized part of the game then more guys would have been shooting more threes, and at a higher percentage as well.
  9. yeah for me he's behind both Magic and Kareem without question.
  10. yeah this. most players don't have a clue what they're talking about when it comes to this stuff. in the last few days i've heard current players refer to Kobe as "The GOAT"; saw another one who had him no.2 all time; saw another one who said, "he's the greatest Laker of all time so he has to be the GOAT!".
  11. There's a reason that Swaggy went home almost immediately, while Fessy ended up being the head of what's known as the worst alliance in BB history- zero self awareness. And yeah, MTV has done an amazing job at picking the least likable guys from BB- Josh, Paulie, and Swaggy in particular. Fessy isn't nearly loathsome as the other three, he just has waaaayyy too high an opinion of himself. All of that said, I am very much looking forward to Swaggy vs Josh next week. Should be a cripple fight for the ages.
  12. I made a joke about Fessy doing that before the elimination actually happened. When he legit tossed that stick and started crowing about how he just beat the three-time champion I had to pause it I was laughing so hard. But that's a typical Fessy- a G in his own mind. He claimed on BB and then on The Challenge that he was a "two time D-1 All American" and, "I'm supposed to be playing on Sundays but a shoulder injury prevented that." Uh, no. I looked up his stats at Tennessee-Chattanooga (not a D-1 school) and while he was in fact named a third team All American on two occasions, his best season he had like 55 catches and 5 TDs. I don't think he even had a 100 yard receiving game. But yeah, despite not actually playing D-1 or being all that good you were "a D-1 All American who was supposed to play in the NFL." He could be a beast in the future, but he's not in great shape right now. He's bulky and lacks definition, and I doubt he had the stamina for a final that isn't all pussified. If he actually trains hard and shows up to next season in real shape then he could be the guys' favorite.
  13. my dvr didn't record this episode. where can i watch it?
  14. really good look for Jermaine Jones and Geoff Cameron here, coming out as anti-vaxxers. Aside from Clint Dempsey, name a single likable USMNT player from the last 10-12 years. And please don't say Landon Donovan. edit: Beasley. he's the only other one I can think of.
  15. never heard of this guy, but apparently we're in for him.
  16. he's overly sensitive, super insecure, and crazy jealous.
  17. KJ Adams will announce his top 10 at 4pm today.
  18. Chief is home! For now at least. His face is still droopy, he still has trouble walking, we're still awaiting the test results on if/how far the meningitis has spread into his brain, and he still may have to have surgery, but for now he's doing well enough to rest at home. hallelujah. was a tough couple days before now. and just look at how happy he is:
  19. Pelé. everyone keeps omitting Pelé. There are 330 million people in the USA- the other 7.5 billion people on the planet care about soccer, and Pelé is as iconic as it gets.
  20. America: endless violence, and death, and human trafficking, and rape, and killing on all forms of media, but you can't say "fuck" or show your titty in public. Ass backwards.
