I’m also a sucker for peppadews though.
Had the Ooh La La for lunch today. I like it. -
Picked up two 6-packs of Zilker Third Space. $12.49 a sixer. It better live up to my expectations.
-
Jesus Lizard at Moody in September. That seems like a big ass venue for them.
-
Has anyone had Zilker's Third Space release? It looks juicy AF. They're releasing 200 cases to stores tomorrow and then it's gone.

It always seem like people say the fish is fresher in LA or NY, but the top sushi place in NY, all the fish is properly aged frozen for weeks before being served.
Im not positive but I thought all sushi in the US had to be previously frozen to kill parasites. -
Someone back on The Site That Shat Be Named recommended Fuzz Club for their special releases. Today I received my King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s Polygondwanaland limited edition.
It is top shelf all the way. The sleeve is actually a hard cover book with two pages of artwork and lyrics for each song. Based on this release, I would highly recommend Fuzz Club.

5 days is a long time at DLR. We've done everything from 1 to 5. 3 is our sweet spot. We haven't done park hopper in a long time but we may do park hopper on just the third day in November. I need to look and see if it's cheaper to get a 2-day + 1-park hopper or a 3-day park hopper.

I’d love to see a “where are they now” about the Icy Hot Stuntazz.
I looked it up after posting that pic. One is apparently a relatively successful Christian rapper called B-SHOC or something. I’m sure the other two work at Conn’s selling stereos to medium ballers. -

I just read an article on a few shows Amazon has in the pipe. I can't find the article anymore, but it mentioned one show based on a book, that they planned to spend a billion dollars on. Crazy.
It’s obscure so that’s probably why the name escapes you...it’s Lord of the Rings. -
I'm curious as to what OP believe happens to him when he dies?
He’s gonna be surprised when he wakes up as one of 72 virgins getting railed by an inbred sheep herder. -
i don't mind Austin's growth. traffic is still nothing compared to Houston, geographically it's still not very far to anywhere. so many better restaurants than there used to be. interesting people, i hear at least 5 different languages at HEB. and the insane housing market is going to allow me to retire (early) next year when we sell our central Austin home.
I don’t mind the growth either. I’d much rather live in a fast growing dynamic city than a stagnant one that’s slowly dying. Living central is the key though. Traffic doesn’t really affect me too much. I generally don’t get on a highway so I get to avoid a lot of it. The number of restaurants and breweries I have access to within 5 miles of my home is ridiculous. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. -
It’s the Mexican version of these guys...

Why focus on such a fear based motivation tool to change humanity or save souls?
Fear is great for greasing the wallets of the fearful. At the end of the day, religion is a business. Maybe the biggest business.

Non-Starter??
Texas would've signed Kyler Murray in a heartbeat, and tried very hard to do so.
To be fair, from Strong’s angle, Kyler appeared to be 6’3”.- 1

The idea God needs you to submit to and worship him is a very human narcissistic character flaw. If there’s a heaven, surely God is above such nonsense.

it's crazy that you will look at the picture and think.. who is the little guy?
then you realize it is Arnold. Jeez.
And Arnold is like 6’2” and 260 in his prime. Looks like a wee man in that pic. -
I miss AusTexMex and the original ghetto Jorge’s on Hancock. Those were the best Tex mex in town.

There was a viral post of pictures of OK classrooms going around a week ago. If you had to guess a country based on the pics, you'd probably guess Haiti. 90% of the chairs were broken. There weren't enough chairs and a couple of kids had to sit on the floor unless they brought their own chair from home.

My BGE has been out of commission for a while because the gasket burned off during some high-heat cooking. Seems like a bitch to replace and I've been too lazy. Any of you have done that?
It's easy as shit. Scrap it off and clean the rim (ask your mom about the best technique). Install this: https://www.amazon.com/Standard-Gasket-Adhesive-Large-Kevlar/dp/B004MNW1TE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1523280449&sr=8-3&keywords=high+heat+gasket+big+green+egg
It takes like 15 minutes of work. I'm going on 5 years with no issues with the replacement gasket. That includes getting it well above 800 degrees.

Stayed at the Royal Haciendas in Playa last year. It is absolutely a picture perfect resort. However, the food was underwhelming. There was rarely Mexican food available. Italian, Chinese, and Tony Roma style bbq were there. It was a pasty Midwesterner’s dream I’m sure.
