So Jones was able to wear his shirt again after 34 long years. Any word on whether Mike Huckabee put his pants back on?

Some people like a little culture now and then, sir.

  • I wish retired APD Det. Paul Johnson would be there to face the cameras and answer questions about his idiotic "creek people" bullshit theories and be asked if he has anything to say to Robert Springs

That was Travis County DA Jose Garza, villain of local magats (cough cough Angie Ayers) and puppet of global cabal leader George Soros.

I watched the entire press conference and was taken aback by the contrast of the words of Barbara Wilson and Sonora Thomas vs the words of Shawn and Angie Ayers. Especially Angie Ayers, who was not a blood relative to any of the victims and simply married into the family tragedy and made it a life mission to get justice for the Ayers family. Where both Wilson and Sonora Thomas exuded grace and humility and thankfulness, Angie Ayers came off as a look-at-me narcissist with venom to spit for whoever it was that leaked the break in the case to the media on Friday. Shawn and Angie were pissed off about that and she in particular used that as cudgel to berate the audience in the chambers and viewers watching online. Then she proceeded to go on waaaay too long about her role in the investigation over the years and how she had been there fighting it longer than any investigators, prosecutors, etc. Really unhinged stuff imo. She showed her true colors when she turned her attention to the broken justice system and, rather than acknowledge the FOUR OTHER VICTIMS whose lives were irreparably broken by actions of a serial killer and APD detectives, she says this insane remark.

Shameful behavior considering how she had the family convinced the innocent men were guilty.

She was the worst part of the documentary. Complete dumbass.

The cops, the DA…….the fucking jury of your “peers”. Scary shit

Juries can’t do their job when the wrong evidence is presented to them and other evidence is hidden.

Long Island prosecutors have used DNA to arrest a suspect of a murder that happed there in the 80s. I’m bringing it up here because three other people had previously been convicted of this murder. They were eventually exonerated after having their names drug through the mud and years of their lives wasted.

New use of DNA seems to be shedding some light on how bad prosecutors and detectives were at actually convicting the right people. The problem is we are only going back and using it on cases where the original conviction was overturned so it is still technically unsolved. How many thousands are wrongly sitting in jail and nobody is looking at the case because it’s “solved”.

Local (to me) case solved with help from the Austin investigators. He was confirmed as the murderer.

27-year-old Lexington murder case solved through connecti...

Lexington police have solved a 27-year-old homicide case, identifying the killer of Linda Marie Rutledge through advanced DNA and ballistic evidence.

Damn

Officials detailed that on November 7, 1998, at around 7:40 a.m., the Lexington Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Nixon Hearing Aid Center in the 100 block of Malibu Drive. When crews arrived, they observed heavy smoke coming from the business and made entry. The fire was extinguished quickly, and Rutledge was found dead in the back hallway.

The Fayette County Coroner's Office determined Rutledge's cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds to the head.

Hard to believe they didn't try to connect the two crimes based on MO

For whatever reason, Investigation Discovery doesn’t have their Brashers episode of Evil Lives Here available On Demand. Damn near every other one, well over a hundred, is only a click away.
