  1. Here you go. First google hit. Outside only starting today according to color code policy. https://www.kron4.com/news/bay-area/hair-salons-barbershops-reopen-for-outdoor-services-in-san-francisco/ If you want a link to her twitter, help yourself. So shame her and dunk on Trumptards too. Everyone skipped right to step 2 on this thread.
  2. Pelosi’s district is masked outside haircuts only currently. Her official twitter account just condemned the RNC for not wearing masks and practicing social distancing including the line that his message is “please put me ahead of your child...cause it’s better politics for me.” There was a time that this board would have absolutely criticized that hypocrisy from an elected official, especially the SotH. I’m no Dotard, (but now fully expect y’all to rip me for expecting better than the absolute minimum from our political leaders.)
  3. I don’t know what park started using this as “opposing team mound visit” song. But it works perfectly.
  4. Good lord, I’ve wasted so much of my adult life on the internet.
  5. Can they get TABC approval for some wax cup beer sales? Asking for myself.
  6. Did some googling this morning and couldn’t really find anything on impact to LNG terminals and plants in Cameron and Calcasieu parish. Assume there’s going to be some hit to staff coming back this week and performing system checks, powering up generators, and reading for start-up. Did see Colonial Pipeline is already ramping to normal volumes. We always see some delay with gulf export partners doing aerial surveys of pipelines and getting confirmation from other producers/operators that they’re good to flow after any sizable storm. Gas line operator that arrives onshore in Cameron parish told us yesterday it may be another week, minimum before they can pig and give us the okay to flow.
  7. 2 plump bastards on the power line outside my WFH window this AM had me day dreaming during conf calls. Jealous AF. Go knock’em down fellahs.
  8. Oh, you're tall, she's tall, I'm tall. What's the difference, who's tall? We're all tall.
  9. I participated in my fair share of “suicide” ski trips from Amarillo and Lubbock. Even at 18-23yo I was of the opinion that 1 night in the mountains was required. Only one guy I know was ever down for the depart 3am / home by midnight, 1 day no nights type trip. FTR - driving from Lubbock to Austin or worse Amarillo to Austin in the dark early Monday morning hours after 2+ days of skiing, and little sleep is exceedingly dumb and no one should do it.
  10. If you like the smoke but don’t like the peat try Highland Park as your daily drinker for a while, it has smoke notes for sure as a blend. Used to keep White Horse, but haven’t had it in forever and don’t really recall where it landed in the peat vs smoke index. Caol Illa and Ardberg are the “lightest” islay single malts, IMO.
  11. Mechanical. My pocket reference book (thanks WFH) says “the American Wood Council recommends limiting cantilevers to 1/4 of the allowable span for the same joist spacing” ...so even if you throw in some tight joist spacing you’re going to have less than 4’ allowable cantilever and less than 40lb/ft^2 live load with pressure treated southern pine. Additionally, I’d think the bending moment would get you (even if you put the crown up). Your deck would sag and be uncomfortable after a few seasons in the elements. Use metal. Heck use some quality channel shapes and you’ll have a cantilever deck that’ll support a 1000kw generator and day tank, for a mini-split AC, WiFi router, and beer fridge. Side note: My favorite blind as a teen was a loosely cobbled together deck from discarded pallet wood nailed to upper branch of a cottonwood tree precariously rooted to a 10’ sandstone and gypsum cliff. *sniffs* “yeah, that oughtta hold’er”
  12. 2020 had me go from beer to gin tonight. Sorry, Ron.
  13. How’s the Japanese stuff? I asked a buddy who is knowledgeable on Japanese whisky, but I’m an islay guy and he doesn’t dig smoke and peat. Always wanted to try a few bottles, but end up chickening out for old reliables at the liquor store.
  14. With you. More than a few.
  15. Yeah, but I caught Chunnel with my friend Bob Sacamano like a month after theaters on HBO
  16. One of these was one of the best parties I’ve ever been too. Not a trust deal, but a “your friends are my friends and couples anyways. Late 20s early 30s and most are married w/ kids or in serious relationships”. Rented a couple beach houses and got shit faced for 48hrs. The other one...not so much.
  17. The Rogue's Wallet -That's where he kept his card, his dirty little secret. Short, devious, balding his name was Costanza. He killed my mother.
