  1. Nice compact swing using the hips to generate force. Someone should get props for teaching her proper technique. Kudos.
  2. C'mon man, these are definitely HS worthy
  3. It's like if Colonel Kurtz took his son with him on his descent into madness. The Walmart guy kinda became the Dennis Hopper character. Clearly the son fancies himself a better film maker than he is, but I found the whole thing quite fascinating.
  4. You sure you're not just obsessed with cute Asian school girls?
  5. I guess we'll know by who plays Saturday if the game isn't canceled. I can't imagine anyone risking injury by playing in the Spring Game if they plan on transfering.
  6. Brah, the Internet does not lie, and I was assured up thread that it was a done deal that he was going to USC and UT shouldn't even bother.
  7. I understand, but the DC is the same, so the scheme hasn't changed. Plus, Texas and Sark have demonstrated the willingness/ability to find high quality replacements for departing position coaches. That has not been shown to be the case at either ou or USC.
  8. I get that Bo is gone, but with Texas putting 2 DTs in the NFL this year, you'd think that would be a big selling point. Especially after seeing the hot garbage both ou and USC put out on display across the D-line last year.

    RIP Dickey Betts

At least he made it to 80. If the Allman Brothers taught me anything, it's don't ride a motorcycle in Macon, GA. Edit: Just remembered that, like Skynyrd, they were from Jacksonville, so I guess second lesson learned is don't start a band in Jacksonville.
  10. No shit...I've probably seen Breakfast Club 100 times, so of course I remember Carl, but I had no idea his last name was Reed.
  11. Wrong. I have one in my garage, right next to my 83 Corvette.
  12. I'd watch that...no telling what hijinks they could get into with a 3rd character.
  13. Meh, I think they should play Ring of Fire at least one more time.
  14. Ministry on January 26th, 1990 with KMFDM, and the Austin band Skate Nigs was the craziest show I've ever been too, or seen video of. It was my freshman year, and I can honestly say that show changed my life.
  15. Not sure what the name of your band was, but based on your post, I'd be shocked if I never saw you play. Did you every know a guy named Edmo? Not me, but a good friend who was way more memorable. Backstreet was an "underground" club around the corner from Emo's on 7th Street that had no lights...just lasers.
  16. That's awesome, congrats to the whole fam. Sounds like someone just saved a shit load of money for retirement, lol. Mind if I ask where he decided to go?
  17. Yeah, I probably built it up too much in my head. I got close to going once to see White Zombie for the La Sexorcisto Tour, but I chickened out. That whole area freaked me out at night. We heard gunshots seemingly nightly. Ironically, back then dirty 6th was relatively safe, so I was either seeing shows there at Emo's/Jelly Club/Backstreet, etc., or further west at Liberty Lunch, and Electric Lounge...or if I was really feeling frisky I'd brave going off S. Congress to the Austin Opera House.
  18. Sorry if this is common knowledge around here, but what sport is your kid being recruited for?
